2 Message from the President Welcome to Port Noarlunga Netball Club On behalf of the Port Noarlunga Netball Club, I'd like to welcome our players, supporters, sponsors and the local community to season I, along with the PNNC 2018 committee, will together continue to develop a positive fun filled club with great talent. I am excited that you have chosen to play for us in our third year of operation. In 2017, we grew by 3 teams to have 12 teams in total entered into the SHNA association. Our A2 team made the Grand Final and just missed out on being overall winners by 1 goal. A proud moment from my perspective, showing our foundations are building and developing. We are consistently evolving and working towards creating positive and inclusive team environments for all players to feel valued and respected to achieve. I look forward to all the hard work going into this year and I am excited to see our club achievements. Port Noarlunga Netball Club acknowledges that it is part of the wider local community with obligations to the town that supports it. The Club provides a wonderful physical and social outlet for members of the community, young and old. We encourage players, members and supporters to be responsible and active members of our vibrant community. The Club values its sponsors and the support they provide the Club; equally valued is the loyalty and hard work of the many volunteers and supporters. Without this support and effort we can't survive as a successful club and we won't be a competitive force. Remember that success is not just measured by a premiership flag on the wall; equally significant is the depth of commitment that comes from those who put in and what the Club is able to offer in return. The Club is a registered member of the following programs listed below Star Club program, through SA Office of Recreation and Sport. Play by the Rules, online resources and training opportunities OACNET program, which provides the club with many training opportunities to assist in our club processes. My main focus this year for the club is to establish our 5yr strategic plan, this will involve all members associated with our club and assist us in our future planning endeavours. Therefore, the Club needs your input to ensure we meet your expectations through responsible management and responsive processes and procedures. There are feedback mechanisms available so, if the need arises, please provide feedback directly to a committee member or via the contact option within the website. Now, and throughout the 2018 season, I trust you find The Port Noarlunga Netball Club website, combined with our Facebook page, Instagram page and newsletters, provide you with an insight into our club. Every effort will be made to keep you current with news and information. We hope that you enjoy your year as a Ray at Port Noarlunga Netball Club. Once again welcome and thank you in anticipation of a successful year on and off the court Kind Regards Ashleigh Wolferstan President, Port Noarlunga Netball Club smashes@optusnet.com.au or
