2 NOTEWORTHY In addition to the league s player of the week selections, several conference players had notable performances, and they include: Ian McGrath (UE) - Ian McGrath, an All-MVC honorable mention a year ago, enjoyed his fi rst big offensive performance on Friday night, scoring both UE goals as the Evansville s upset bid against No. 16 Utah Valley fell short at the Hotels at Grand Prairie Soccer Series at Bradley. The junior has been one of UE s top players throughout the season, and he saw all but 14 minutes on the pitch as the Aces posted a 1-1 weekend. Ryan Howe (LUC) - Redshirt senior Ryan Howe registered the deciding goal in Loyola s 3-0 win over Albany on Sunday afternoon at Loyola Soccer Park. The goal, which broke a scoreless deadlock in the 49th minute, was not only Howe s fi rst of the season but also marked the fi rst time that the Rockford, Ill. product had found the back of the net since Sept. 27, 2014 following an injury that cost him all of his 2015 season. Howe, who has started in all three games this season, fi nished the game with a team-high six shots, fi ve of which were on target. He added three attempts in a 1-0 win over Northern Kentucky on Friday night.
