We will be 100% Online for the 2018 tournament. o Make sure you have ed a copy of your team insurance ASAP! Send To: twvoss@gmail.com Subject: (Age group) (Team Name) Insurance Certs o Rosters will be online for eligibility questions. Make sure your online roster is complete before 8:00am (CST), July 6, If your roster does not contain a minimum of 8 players, you will not have enough players to be considered eligible for this event. Plan accordingly!!! If there is an eligibility question, each team must have on-site, a copy of the player s birth certificate for verification or that player will be ineligible for the tournament. It is the team s responsibility to have this certificate(s) with them in case of an issue. No birth certificate..no eligibility! o The official tournament schedule will run online on the front page of Games begin at 8:00am on Friday, July 6, 2018 and all games are bracket games in our Double Down Bracket Format. Bracket game numbers in Red mean it is an elimination game and the team that loses is finished. All Silver Bracket games are elimination games. It is a 4GG format. IFA reserves the right to make changes in the format or times due to weather or field conditions. If you see a discrepancy in wins or scores, please report those to the on-site director and let them handle it so we may get it corrected. Weather updates and field condition updates will be handled online on the front page of the website. Should inclement weather or field conditions affect the tournament, we will update everyone via website as soon as we can make an informative decision. We will do everything possible to keep the tournament running, however; please keep in mind that no decision can be made until the weather clears and field crews can assess the damage. Asking what time, the games will resume when it is still raining / lightening is impossible to answer.

2 The Coach / Business Manager / Team Representative Meeting will be held at the Waxahachie Civic Center on July 5, 4:30. This meeting is directly linked to receiving the half dozen softballs, line-up cards, flipping coins, bracket booklets..etc. Our onsite directors will NOT have your items this year at the parks if you do not have a person attending to check your team in. No attendance means your team forfeits these items. Items will be ready from 3:00pm 4:30pm. o Teams that do not receive the complimentary meeting supplies are still responsible for providing a new eligible softball for each game, line-up card, etc o Player pin-trading will be at the Waxahachie Softball Complex and begins around 4:00pm o Team Parade on the field will be around 5:45pm on Field #2. Teams will enter from the 1 st Base gate and parade in front of home plate to the 3 rd Base side. Teams will wait in the outfield area for all teams that want to participate. Please be courteous and do not walk on the chalked field lines or in the infield as the City has already prepped the field for the next day play. Again, help with trash pick up as the pin paper is a problem. There are plenty of trash cans available Vendors will be on-site with t-shirt sells, water bottle sells, etc Please help us with trash pick-up. We had to increase the fees slightly this year to handle extra trash left in dugouts and all-day tent compounds and do not want to have to increase this expense again. o Please leave a clean dug-out for the next team to play. It only takes a little effort at the end of the game to help clean up. o Some soccer tournaments have begun removing pop-up tents from events because of the trash issues at the end of the day. We do not want these complexes to outlaw tents for our players, however; when your team gets up at the end of the day. Please sweep your area for trash! o Remember, we charge no gate fee and no cooler fees for this event. We want families to enjoy the tournament. Teams may flip for home and visitor before game time with the other team. o Home team will occupy 1 st Base Dugout and provide the official scorekeeper o Visitor team will occupy 3 rd Base Dugout and provide an adult scoreboard operator, if applicable. o Teams playing back-to-back games will not be required to move. Game time is forfeit time. Please do not send an advance scout and not have your team on-site ready to play. This is a pay at the plate event with each team paying for one umpire per game. (Two umpires each game) o 10U & 12U games are 1:20 minutes, finish the inning/game. $35 per game o 14U games are 1:30 minutes, finish the inning/game. $40 per game.
