13 CARRIE S CORNER Over the last few months the players and office team have been hard at work promoting the sport of Ice Hockey. With the Winter Olympics underway the schools in Peterborough have taken on the not so popular UK sports disciplines in droves. Last week we was joined on the ice by Johnny Dee presenter for BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, who interviewed James Hutchinson, Kamil Jarina and myself. He even had a go at the shooting the puck (to our amazement he wasn't too bad), but the one thing that still astounds me whenever I talk to new spectators of the game is the pure excitement at the speed of the players and the puck. Its end to end excitement, bump and grind hard work.
