2 WELCOME LONGHORN FRIENDS! The Nebraska Texas Longhorn Association is proud to announce its 35th annual sale. This is our 3rd Spring Sale here in Broken Bow, NE. We look forward to working with Broken Bow Livestock owners Wendell & Kathy Brott & crew, brand inspector, Rex Meyers & sale vet Harold McCaslin again this year. This year our sale catalog has a limited # of cows & more heifers & bulls than in the past. You will see a variety of bloodlines coming from Nebraska, Kansas & South Dakota herds. Our consignors are giving you some of their best. We d like to thank the consignors for bringing your beautiful longhorns to our sale. We thank you, the prospective buyer, for taking time to look them over. There will be a non catalog sale immediately following the catalog sale-accepting commercial cows & ropers. We have a get together on Friday night at the Broken Bow Country Club. Dinner will be approx. $15. You are all welcome to come and mingle. You will enjoy the evening. Just be sure to RSVP by Friday April 8th We will have our traditional Silent Auction Saturday morning so come early as it is just till sale time. Tickets for a calf raffle will be available. 23 TERMS AND CONDTIONS BIDDING: Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder with reserve. BIDDING DISPUTES: The auctioneer in charge will settle any dispute as to bids & his decision on such matters will be final. CERTIFICATES: Buyer is responsible for transfer of TLBAA/ ITLA certificate of registration. Transfer papers will be furnished by the seller to the purchaser on each lot in the sale. HEALTH: All sale cattle must pass these requirements to sell in this state & most other states. Health papers must be within 30 days of the sale. All health papers will indicate a USDA official id tag #, preg status-120 days+, calf at side or unexposed, tric test or Virgin bull anotated, OCV. Interstate health papers will be furnished for each animal over 6 months of age. Each purchaser should check with their state veterinarian regarding regulations in this stateif additional health requirements are needed it is at the buyers expense. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Any changes from information of any kind will be announced from the auction box & such announcements shall take precedence. GUARANTEE: All animals sold are guaranteed by owners. Females vet checked safe with calf or calf at side, are considered breeders. Pregnancy checked 30 days preg-with veterinarian signature. All guarantees are between buyer & seller. POSSESSION: Immediately after the animal is sold, it becomes the sole risk & responsibility of the buyer thereof. But possession cannot be obtained by him until payment is made. Buyer must make arrangements for care of stock until removed. LIABILITIES: All persons who attend the sale, do so at their own risk, & the N.T.L.A. assumes no liability, legal of otherwise, for any accidents to either persons or animals that may occur.
