It is hard to believe that a year has passed since the Inaugural Western Elite. We felt like last years event was a huge success and it has been very gratifying to hear the reports of satisfaction and success that have resulted from those purchases. We appreciate the buyers and all of the people that evaluated the cattle or expressed interest in them. We look forward to seeing you again in Denver. As we prepared to select the cattle for this year s sale each of us have refl ected on the initial mission of the Western Elite which was to present a Unique Elite Female Event to the public at the Greatest Livestock Show in the World The National Western Stock Show. The Western Elite, from its inception has focused on being a first class event that was unique and different Viewing the sale offering, In the Yards than anything at the stock show featuring an offering of Elite Seedstock from breeders that understand the business and are in it for the long haul. With that mission and a clear view of last years sale in our mind each of us dug deep in to our respective programs to bring you what we believe is even a stronger, deeper and more diverse offering. One of the most asked questions and biggest concerns going into and at the Sale last year was How are we going to get them home? To be honest we had the same concerns. NO MORE WORRIES! GUARANTEES AND PREGNANCY TESTING All females with AI dates listed in the catalog, have been evaluated pregnant to those dates by competent technicians via ultrasound. Females with due dates listed were bred naturally, preg checked bred and are due on the approximate date printed. While we believe all information to be accurate, we understand that some error in pregnancy testing can occur. We guarantee the females to be bred at the time of the sale but have no control past this point. We also suggest the best management at calving to ensure a live calf. We suggest you insure your purchases and/or the pregnancy. Any other guarantees are strictly between the individual buyer and seller. She is excellent on her feet and legs and is a heavy structured female that is still real smooth through her shoulder and is clean necked and pretty headed. She has extra thickness and power and is without question one of the most impressive Meyer females around. She is donor material.they cant all be in the front of the book Look this one up. PAGE 22

She sells A.I. serviced to BoJo for the prospects of a big time return has been ultrasounded by Millers and checked safe to BoJo and sexed as a bull calf. She has never had a bull calf in the Miller program and all heifers have been retained. This is one of the great cows in the offering, she has all the right parts and is extra impressive. LOT 19 MILLER HOOK 5438 SIRE: Dr. Hook (Heat Seeker) DAM: MaineAng 2005 P.E. Redemption (Dirty Hairy); Estimated Due 4/19 This female has been one of the great producers in the Miller herd. She has produced two heifers that were top sellers in the spring pasture sale by Dr.Who and Hairy Bear. She sells bred to Redemption, the son of Dirty Hairy that is out of McKay 22 (Cookie Monster by Full Flush x Heat Wave s sister.) Redemption was displayed at the 2010 National Western and his first calves are expected in this spring. She is an incredibly good profiling cow, that is sound traveling and plenty stout. She is a proven producer in the Shephard herd. Good moderate Throttle daughters are sure fire producers. The Shephard program is known for top club calf production across the country!
