Jefferson City, Mo Mary Stassi Twelve Oaks Farm Wright City, MO Elevating Expectations The Missouri Ranch Horse Association is a charter of the American Ranch Horse Association. It is dedicated to preserving the heritage of the horses and people who have made famous the way of life known as ranching. These horses are recognized for their handiness and versatility. These are horses with heart that can work all day long handling cattle, dragging feeders, open and close gates without dismounting, etc. They are an efficient means of transportation across often rough terrain. They are also loyal companions that are much more than useful tools on the ranch. They are partners with their owners that compliment each other. They can do more together than either can do apart. Our shows give our exhibitors the opportunity to show case their partners in what they do best, everything from cutting, roping, reining, trail and ranch riding to poles and barrel racing. I might add, most of our competitors compete in multiple classes on the same horse in everyday working tack, they themselves dressed in traditional western attire will be the best year yet for the Missouri Ranch Horse Association. We are looking forward to expanding our borders this year to get involvement from the entire state. We will continue with the things you all like such as the fun and exciting Extreme Ranch Horse Trail, Free style reining and cattle working clinics. In addition this year we will be adding the Boxing class to our shows. This is a class that will allow horses and people, new to working cattle, a chance to enjoy the excitement of a horse and a cow sparring with one another. The atmosphere at our shows will continue to be charged with friendly smiles, helpful hearts and a place where everyone is welcomed. So come and see for yourself what I am talking about!! Sunday worship- you don t have to miss just because you re at a horseshow. Our Cowboy Church Service is at 7am on Sunday mornings before the show starts. Looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones. Dennis Cappel

As an added benefit to your MoRHA Membership, each household will receive a free 2012 subscription to Central States Horseman. In order to begin receiving this publication, we will need your permission to give CSH your address. Some people may get a copy from another source. Some people might prefer to pick it up at their local tack/feed store or not want it at all. Since this subscription will be paid for by MoRHA, we don't want to pay for a subscription for a member who already receives it from another source or doesn't want it at all. Please check the appropriate box on your membership form and we ll take care of the rest. If you have already joined/renewed for 2012 and did not opt in to receive the CSH and would like to, please contact Chris and she will have your name added to the mailing list.
