Prizes for: Top fundraising barn Top fundraising adult Top fundraising youth The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program The Jockey Club created the Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.)to encourage the retraining of Thoroughbreds into other disciplines upon completion of careers in racing or breeding. T.I.P. offers sponsorship for high point Thoroughbred awards at open horse shows and competitions, year end Performance Awards, a Thoroughbred of the Year Award and a Young Rider of the Year Award. To make sure your horse is eligible for the program please go to to apply for a TIP number. Canadian Warmblood Manitoba Chapter Series Awards The Canadian Warmblood Manitoba Chapter have joined up with to provide year end awards to the top registered CWB for overall Hunter and overall Jumper. Must register with Campbell Horse Shows to receive points. A minimum of 3 horse shows attended is required to attain points. All Campbell Horse Shows that are approved to receive points. All Campbell Horse Shows are approved to receive TIP Thoroughbred High Point Hunter and High Point Jumper awards including Year End High Point Hunter and Jumper. 3 INFORMATION: WEBSITE: ONLINE ENTRIES: FACEBOOK: CAS MEDIA SHARES: #campbellhorseshows CAS CAS RULES & REGULATIONS 1. DEPOSITS: A non-refundable deposit of $50 must be received to guarantee entry to a show. This fee can be paid via paypal on our website or etransfer. If your deposit has not been accepted by the given deadline, your entry will be put onto the bottom of the waiting list. After deposit deadline, entries on the waiting list will be given notice starting with the start of the waiting list. They also will need to send a deposit to secure their spot. 2. PAYMENT: A cheque for stalls, numbers and administration fee and entries must accompany entry as of the Friday of the show. Etransfer must be recieved by Sunday at check out. A late fee will be charged if not recieved. 3. NSF CHEQUE: There will be a $25 fee for any NSF cheque or other circumstance where funds are not recieved for payment. 4. LATE FEE: There will be a $20 late charge applied to entries not paid by payment deadline of horse show. This fee will be applied per month until paid. 5. WIAVER: A waiver must be signed at the first horse show attended and will cover all 2018 events. 6. NCCP: All coaches must have their NCCP number. A $5 will be charged to each entry of the coach that does not have their NCCP number. Please refer to Manitoba Horse Council website for details. 7. Please let the secretary know of any changes that were made when checking out Sunday. 8. Numbers must be picked up and waivers signed prior to riding on grounds. 9. Campbell Horse Shows has the right to refuse any entry into the show. EXHIBITING AND JUDGING: 1. All exhibitors must be members of Manitoba Horse Council (or your respective provincial membership). 2. The horse show is not Equine Canada sanctioned, but will follow Equine Canada rules and regulations. 3. Numbers are to be worn in such a way that they are easily visible to the judge. 4. Exhibitors may dress casually; however, approved helmets and proper footwear must be worn while mounted and shirts with sleeves. 5. For safety, all classes with large numbers may be split at the discretion of the show committee and judge. 6. Coaching in the ring is allowed up to 2 3 hunters and up to 3 jumpers. Competitors will still be judged.

4 CA GUIDLINES: Preloading: We will be preloading in all classes. This means you will enter the ring while the horse on course is half way through completing it s course. Do not travel in the path or interrupt the horse that is on course. Please do not start your course until the previous horse is leaving the ring. The gate person will send you in at the correct time. Sign Ups: Sign Up for your classes at the end of Friday and Saturday to help our show run smoothly. Please sign up (including your number) in the order you would like to show in. Open Card There will be open cards for classes at the same height. Open Divisions Both Open and Beginner riders may enter this division. Open round must be completed before beginner class. Beginner Division Open to riders who are in their first two years of showing in the hunter/ jumper discipline. This is based on the rider not the horse. Coaching in the Ring Coaches will be allowed in the ring and rider will be judged as normal in classes groundrail hunters as well as 2 6 & pony to 3 jumpers. Leadline Leadline is allowed in groundrail and xrail classes. Walk Trot Walk Trot class is intended for riders who do not canter. Wait Times There will only be a 5 minute wait time for any entries signed up. will close after the 5 minutes. Please plan accordingly. Dress Code All compeitors are to wear an approved helmet and appropriate riding boots. Competitive show clothes and braiding are not mandatory, appropriate schooling clothing should be worn. Shirts are to have a sleeve. Festive Dress Code It is encouraged to participate in the themed dress day at participating shows. Appropriate clothing please. Small 2 6 & 2 9 Hunter Divisions which are for horses that stand over 14.2 hands but not above 15.3 hands. Distances will be set a shorter than in the Large Hunters (over 15.3hh). Ponies are allowed to show in either class. NEW CA RULE: Refusals After 1st refusal, coach may enter ring. After the 2nd refusal you may proceed with the course. After the 3rd refusal you are excused from your round. You may jump a jump you have already successully jumped without judges permission. If all 3 refusals are at the first jump, you may try 1 more time.

We understand that as part of competing you must do your homework between the horse shows. To grow as a competitor you have to be open to increasing your knowledge of the sport and the techniques. We are so fortunate as equestrians to have opportunities to ride with many qualified professionals and Campbell Horse Shows would like to be a part of that. LAST YEARS CLINIC Last year we were honored to host Rodney Tulloch of Landmark Farms from Calgary, Alberta. Rodney has been a familiar face during the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair as he, along with his clientele come on a regular basis to compete in hunters up to the open Jumpers clinic had a group of green horses, some junior and adult amateurs along with local professionals attending. It was a great weekend spent with horse enthusiasts. BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS CLINIC YOU WILL RECIEVE 5PTS TOWARDS YEAR END AWARDS Must attend 3 out of 5 events to qualify
