This year, 4000 triathletes are coming from all over the world to join the competition. In order to offer you the best possible time during this event, we try year after year to make improvements and develop novelties. To make it an unforgettable moment as you pass the finish line, we still have a spectacular Finish Line Area, unique on the IRONMAN circuit. Besides the now familiar IRONMAN 70.3 Vichy and IRONMAN Vichy, the families will have the opportunity to take part in 2 competitions, namely the IRONKIDS and Iron Girl. Such a large scale event could not be organized without the huge support from the local authorities (the city of Vichy, the Vichy Communauté District and the Council for the Auvergne Rho ne Alpes Region), our private partners and our «army» of over 1000 volunteers who have been helping us since the start. Without them, all of this would not be possible. 4 The pure waters of Vichy are born at the foot of the Auvergne volcanoes. They infiltrate at a depth of over 3,000 meters, reheat in contact with magma and are responsible in many minerals and trace elements salts. 6 Vichy stand out on the IRONMAN Tour Series With the both races during the same weekend, Vichy is a unique event. Near 4000 athletes from the world wite will be in the Region Auvergne-Rho ne Alpes. Other specificity, the IRONMAN Vichy is the only race full distance in Europe only for age groups athletes and so permit them to have an IRONMAN in their title list. With more of 56% of foreigners, this event proposes an international athletes field. On the both race, the athletes can compete in the aim to win a slot for the Wolrd Championships 2018 an Vichy is one of the first event to offer slots for this incredible event which are World Championships.
