Some club members are able to support the club by holding an office (for example Committee Member) or by helping out at events. This information is stored in the Office and Helper fields. The nominee field is required because the Joint and Family membership types are group classes of membership. One member of the group has to be nominated as the person who is responsible for paying the annual fee. 4 tbltraining This table is used to store information about the training programmes that are offered to club members. The UKA Reference field is used to store the reference number of the coach who is responsible for the training programme. The Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday session fields are used to indicate the days of the week that training activities take place for the training programme. 5 tblcoaches This table is used to store information about the coaches. Each Coach must hold a coaching pass and licence that is issued by UK Athletics. To obtain a coaching licence a Coach must attend a training course. The coaching licences are awarded at levels 1, 2, 3 and 4. The coach is allocated a reference number by UK Athletics. The format for the reference number is the first three letters of the surname followed by a five digit number. As Coaches work with young people they must all undergo a Criminal Records Board (CRB) check. 6 tblofficials This table is used to store information about the officials who are required to run an athletics fixture or meet. Anyone wishing to become an official must attend a training course run by UK Athletics to gain an award. The official is allocated a reference number by UK Athletics. The format for the reference number is the first three letters of the surname followed by a five digit number. Officials are graded at levels 1 to 5. A level 1 official is designated as an Assistant Official. Officials at level 2 or above will specialise in a particular discipline.
