2 LIFT PASSES We are able to issue pre to booked passes at the chalet which are handed to you ready to use on your arrival in the resort saving you the time of queuing at the lift pass offices. Our prices are identical to the prices in resort so you will not pay any more for the convenience. Passes are available for any other duration s from three days upwards. Please contact us for information or look at our website. Carte Neige insurance is available at a supplement if required, at 2.80 per adult per day, 2.40 per child per day. When booking these passes, please let us know which family members belong together and provide us with dates of birth for all children if you have not already done so. Family passes are also available for longer durations. Please ask us for the prices. To qualify as a family, the adults and children need to normally share the same surname (although not essential if family relationship can be proven) and be living at the same address. Proof of family and residential status may be requested in the resort. 3 SKI SCHOOL Magic in Motion Ski Academy Because of the small class sizes and their excellent reputation, Magic in Motion Ski Academy becomes fully booked very quickly and we recommend booking your place as early as possible particularly for peak school holiday weeks. Their highly qualified ski and snowboard instructors coach a range of lessons to suit all tastes and abilities, including group lessons, off piste, children and snowboard including freestyle. The groups are split into different age groups; 6 to 9 years, 10 to 13 years and 14 to 17 years. The sessions have varied times to allow a lot of tuition for the kids but still some time for the families to ski together. On the full day, the kids have lunch with the instructor in a mountain restaurant; lunch is included in the price of the lessons. On the final day there is a mountain treasure hunt for the younger children and multi fun Olympics for the older children, including a 30m timed run, special free-style and to top it off a ski jump onto our big bouncy air bag. Medals are included in the price of lessons. There is also a race programme available for more experienced children with their team of qualified trainers and Magic s very own Olympic Racer. Aspiring champions will learn all terrain skiing top improve technique while spending plenty of time in the gates followed by video feedback this programme is only available during the school holidays. The Race Programme hours are exactly the same as the Kid s Fun Programme (above) however due to extra costs the prices are slightly higher. Just so that you know, these groups mostly run during school holidays, but please ask if there is interest outside of these dates. Please note: We really want to offer Kids Fun Factory all season long, however due to weeks out of ski holiday being quieter, we run on a basis of a minimum of 4 in a group, if there are not enough children to run a group we will change it to the times and prices of the Little Ones with the possibility of the 4 hours on the Thursday or Friday. These Little Ones groups are run with a maximum of 5 and a minimum of 3 children. Whether it s their first time on skis or whether they are snow ploughing demons, this class will work on the basics in a fun and safe environment. Because it can be very cold first thing in the morning, we also off the later lesson when the snow is a bit softer, making learning easier. Please don t forget their helmets, sun cream, sun glasses and warm clothes! 6 New Generation Private Instructors A British run Ski School with 15 years of experience with teaching and instructing. New Generation specialise in teaching people how to ski, from beginners to the experienced who just want to perfect their skills. The majority of New Generation instructors have been with the company for a good 5-10 years, ensuring a high standard of teaching. Participants must be able to keep up with the level shown for each group and the sessions are subject to weather and conditions permitting. Guiding groups run Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A minimum of 4 people are required to be able to run the guiding groups with a maximum of 8 people per group. They offer a high quality, friendly and trustworthy, private nanny service, entertaining your children in the comfort of your own holiday home. All nannies are personally chosen, reference checked and hold a first aid qualification. Ratios: Under 1 year: 1 infant per nanny 1 year 3 years: 2 children per nanny Over 3 years: In consultation with the nanny service Prices: 1 Child: 15 GBP per hour Additional Child: 1.50 GBP extra per hour per child for full time bookings from 40 hours per week, there is no charge for a second child During school holidays there is a minimum booking of 6 half days. -6-

7 Jelly and Ice-Cream The nannies are qualified and/or experienced in childcare. They all have been CRB checked and references are obtained for the peace of mind of parents. Nannies are booked on a weekly basis, from Sunday or Monday or can be booked on a daily basis depending on availability. Services can include collecting the children from ski school if required as well as evening babysitting. 8 EQUIPMENT RENTAL A basic description of the ski levels is as follows to help you select the right level for your needs: Bronze Economy (Skis) Lowest price reliable equipment for the skier on a budget equipment which has been downgraded from silver and gold levels due to its age skis in their third year of use Silver Discovery (Skis and Boards) Skis designed for a good beginner or low intermediate looking for easy to manage skis on the slopes. Quality boots for comfort. Gold Sensation (Skis and Boards) Good intermediates or advanced skiers looking to maximize their performance and ability. Equipment maximum of two years old. This level allows customers to change their equipment up to three times during the week (from Monday to Thursday) subject to availability at the shop and limited to once per day. Platinum Excellence (Skis) Top quality new models plus the specialist skis such as off piste or twin tips for good skiers. High quality boots for very good support. Equipment maximum one year old. This level allows customers to change their equipment up to three times during the week (from Monday to Thursday) subject to availability at the shop and limited to once per day. MiniKid (Skis) Skis for very young children up to and including five years of age ski lengths from 70cm to 90cm. Junior Espoir (Skis) First level of skis for children between the age of six and eleven inclusively suitable for beginners or low intermediate levels. Ski lengths are from 100cm to 150cm equipment is a maximum of three years old. Junior Champion Skis and Boards High quality skis and snowboards for children aged six to eleven inclusively after they have skied a couple of weeks. The skis adapt to suit the ability and level. Lengths are between 100cm and 150cm, including race skis and twin tips as well as junior snowboards. Our discounted rates below are for service at the local shop and are for pre-bookings only. Prices in La Tania are between 40% and 60% discounted from the public prices, depending on the level, and the ski shop that we have contracts with is just a short walk from all of our catered chalets and self-catered apartments.
