2 1. GENERAL INFORMATION. A three Day Training Camp is to be held at the Keppel Bay Sailing Club, Yeppoon from Tuesday 20 th Till Thursday 22 nd September ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY 3.1 The Training Camp is open to the following classes: Green Fleet Optimist and Tackers. International Optimist Laser 4.7 Laser Radial International er Flying 11 Bic Techno 293 Hobie 16 Sabot 1up and 2up Open Bic 3.2 All participants shall be under 19 years as at 31 December Proof of age shall be required. 3.3 For Australian competitors, Yachting Australia membership shall be required. 3.4 The signed Code of Conduct Agreement shall be received at or by the time of registration. 3.5 Eligible boats may be entered by completing the online entry and paying the required fees by following this pathway / Sailing / Upcoming Events / QLD Youth Development Camp and Championships, then clicking on the link. 3.6 Entries close 1700 on Friday 26 August Late entries may be accepted up until 0800 hours on Tuesday, 20 September FEES Required fees are as follows: Camp Fee $285/person. Camp Fee for 2 nd member of same family $ Camp Fee for 3 rd or subsequent family member $228 Camp Fee for members of the YQ Youth Squad $ Green Fleet Camp Fee $75 Included in Fees: Breakfast on Tuesday 20 th September. 3 Days of training. All Classes Coaches Debrief The above times are only a guide and may change at short notice. 5. VENUE The green fleet training will be held at the northern side the Causeway Lake adjacent to the boat hire shed. A bus will depart the Keppel Bay Sailing Club each morning and will return after training each afternoon. The training for all the other classes will be held at the Keppel Bay Sailing Club Yeppoon. RIGHTS TO USE NAME AND LIKENESS By participation in this event, a competitor automatically grants to the Organizing Authority and the sponsors of the event, the right in perpetuity, to make use and show from time to time and at their discretion, any motion pictures, still pictures and live, taped or film television and other reproductions of him/her during the period of the competition for said event in which the competitor participated and in all material related to the said event, without compensation. 7. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY All those taking part in this Training, do so at their own risk and responsibility. Yachting Queensland, the Keppel Bay Sailing Club Inc. and all others involved in the conduct and management of this event, shall not be liable for any loss of life or injury, or for the loss of property or damage thereto, whatsoever or howsoever occurring. The race documents and instructions in no way limit or reduce the complete and unlimited responsibilities of a competitor for the management and care of a boat that they have entered in the championship. Attention is drawn to ISAF Fundamental rule INSURANCE Each participating boat shall be insured with valid Third-Party Liability Insurance with a minimum cover of AUD $5 million (recommended $10 million) per event. 9. CHARTER BOATS The Keppel Bay Sailing Club has 10 Poly Tackers boats and 12 Ozi Opti boats available for charter for green fleet participants. The charter fee is $100 for the duration of the Training camp and regatta. A bond of $250 will be charged at the time of charter and will be refunded when the boat and all of its equipment is returned in good order. The boats will be chartered to the applicants in the order we receive the completed forms and full payment. 10.
