We need to have something to say about your boat as it passes the camera! If you are unsure of your decorations before the deadline, include a holiday message, or information about where your boat has been this year, or about a favorite/remarkable voyage you ve taken or are planning. Use a separate sheet of paper if there is not enough room below. Please write clearly! 5 LOS ANGELES HARBOR HOLIDAY AFLOAT PARADE 2010 Assemble in East Basin at 5:45 P.M. Parade starts at 6:00 P.M. Sharp Radio Frequency for Participants: Channel 68 Alternate Radio Frequency: Channel 69 In case of a torrential downpour or dense fog: Standby and Monitor Channel 68 for Operations Announcements between 5:00-5:15 P.M. and at 5:45 P.M. Please follow the instructions of the Parade Committee, the Port Police and the U.S. Coast Guard / Coast Guard Auxiliary. Note: Tall ships cannot make turns in narrower channels and may periodically drop out of parade route. Emergency Port Police (310) or VHF Channel 16 Holiday get-togethers immediately following the parade at Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club and San Pedro Yacht Club, Saturday, December 4. Skippers Breakfast and Awards Presentation will be held at the Los Angeles Yacht Club, 285 Whalers Walk, San Pedro at 10:00 A.M. on Sunday, December 5, Please return lighted boat numbers and banners at the Skippers Breakfast. If you forget to bring them, please return them to Donna at Pacific Yacht Landing, Berth 203, Wilmington. Parade will be filmed by LA Harbor College at Banning s Landing.
