2 Introduction River beaconing refers to all marks or beacons, fixed or floating, specifically intended to assist navigators in determining their safe course or to warn dangers or obstruction to navigation. 8 River banks marking system When floating beaconing is not possible a river bank marking system may be implemented for directional, danger or alignment marks, kilometer markers, etc. River banks sandwich panels are made in Alu / PE / Alu Modular solution easy to transport on light boats ideal for remote areas Long-lasting solution high resistance of the material, no maintenance colour fastness security against vandalism: the material has no salvage value, inviolable bolts Panels can be coated with retroreflective vinyl to prevent from corrosion and to enhance conspicuity at night River Beaconing Solutions
