We host complimentary lunches and healing sails in over 20 ports around the country. Your presence here tonight ensures we ll be able to host hundreds more! Our donors and sponsors have been key to our ability to offer these beautiful and exciting escapes at sea for people who need a break from treatment and stress. Our goal is to help our VIPs reconnect with Their loved ones or caregivers while enjoying a memorable experience together Mother Nature and the healing power of the sea Their spirit of adventure and the positive effects of being a part of a caring community Tonight, we welcome many VIP patient guests and caregivers. We d specifically like to thank J. Barrett Realty & Company for their support of this evening s event and other sponsors who have supported our mission throughout the season. Eisai Pharma and the Zucker Family Foundation have each also made significant contributions for which we are very grateful. We are very pleased to have Stronger author Jeff Bauman here this evening as a special guest. He and Bill Richard, both Boston Marathon bombing survivors, are enthusiastic about bringing the rejuvenating gift of sailing to others who can benefit from our mission. We are privileged to have these two respected leaders serve as active members of our dedicated Board of Directors, along with several other Board members in attendance. We also salute our volunteers who work hard all year to ensure that Sailing Heals has enough wind behind our sails to navigate another season. Specifically, we thank Erika Hemingway who introduced us to iheart Media host Billy Costa. We are delighted that Billy, who is also an avid boater, has become an energetic advocate for Sailing Heals!
