2 Ashura day is an extremely sorrowful day due to the atrocities that were done on the Prophet s household. As part of commemoration, we should refrain from ALL enjoyment (TV, Sports, vain talk, etc.) and spend the whole day in remembering each and every incident of that day and doing the recommended A maal.

3 The events that took place on Ashura was the fight between RIGHT (HAQ) and FALSEHOOD (BATIL). This is an ongoing struggle in the life of any human being. As proof of our solidarity with Imam we should do a self analysis of our daily lives and actions and ensure that we are with HAQ and that we develop strong willpower to oppose temptations (both internal and external) to FALSEHOOD.

4 When greeting each other today, do not say Salaam Alaikum, Instead, say the following: اع ظ م ٱلم و اج ور ن ا ب م ص اب ن ا ب ٱل ح س ي ن ع م ي و و ج ع م ن ا و ا ي اك م م ن ٱلط ال ب ين ب ث ار ه م ع ٱلس ال م و ل ي و ٱإل م ام ٱل م ه د ي م ن آل م ح م د ع م ي ه م ٱلس ال م May Alláh make our reward and your reward great, for our grief for Hussain, (peace be on him). May He place us and you from those who help his cause with His representative, the guided Imám from the family of Muhammad, peace be on them.

5 4 ركعات صالة 4 Rakaat Námaaz Four Rakaat, (divided into two Namaaz), in the following manner: a) First Namaaz: In the first rakaat, after Súra al- Hamd, recite Súra al-káfirún (Súra # 109). In the second rakaat, after Súra al-hamd, recite Súra al- Ikhlás (Súra # 112). b) Second Namaaz: In the first rakaat, after Súra al- Hamd, recite Súra al-ahzáb (Súra # 33). In the second rakaat, after Súra al-hamd, recite Súra al-munáfiqún (Súra # 63).

7 Ziyárah A'ashura Merits ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء The first form of ziyarah to be mentioned hereinafter is the famous ziyarah of `Ashura', which can be said at the tomb of Imam al- Husayn (A) and also from far distance. The following is the elaborate report of this form of ziyarah, as has been narrated by Shaykh Abu-Ja`far al-tusi in his book of al-misbah: Muhammad ibn Ismail ibn Buzaygh has reported on the authority of Salih ibn `Aqabah on the authority of his father on the authority of Imam Muhammad al-baqir (A) who said, Whoever visits al-husayn ibn `Ali (A) on the tenth day of Muharram and remains there weeping, will meet Almighty Allah on the day of meeting Him having the reward of two thousand times of going on Hajj, two thousand times of going on `umrah, as well as the reward of one who has participated with the Holy Messenger of Allah and with the Holy Imams in two thousand campaigns. The reporter asked, May Allah accept me as ransom for you! What should one who lives in remote regions and cannot come to the tomb on that day do?

8 Ziyárah A'ashura Merits ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء The Imam (A) explained, As for such people, they may come out to a wasteland or go up a high roof in their houses, wave towards Imam al-husayn (A) with greeting, invoke earnestly curses on those who killed him, and then offer a two-unit prayer. They may do so before midday. They may then mourn and weep for al-husayn (A) and order those who live with them in their houses to weep for him, unless they fear for themselves from certain individuals who live with them. They may hold mournful ceremonies in their houses and show grief for him. They may also console one another on this terrible occasion of Imam al-husayn s sufferings. If they do all that, I myself guarantee for them to grant the rewards that I have mentioned beforehand. The reporter asked, May Allah accept me as ransom for you! Do you really promise them and guarantee for them to have that reward? The Imam (A) answered, Yes, I do. I do promise them and guarantee for them having that reward.

9 Ziyárah A'ashura Merits ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء If possible, you may not leave your house on that day to settle any of your needs, because this day is doomed and no need of a faithful believer is settled on it; and even if it is settled, it will be unblessed. Moreover, whatever is saved on this day will be unblessed and so will be his family members. If they do all that, they will have the reward of one thousand times of Hajj and one thousand times of `umrah as well as one thousand participations in campaigns with the Holy Messenger of Allah. They will also gain the reward of all misfortunes that have inflicted every prophet, prophet s successor, veracious, and martyr who have died or been killed since Almighty Allah has created this world up to the Resurrection Hour. Salih ibn `Aqabah and Sayf ibn `Umayrah have reported `Alqamah ibn Muhammad al-hadrami as saying that he, once, asked Imam al- Baqir (A), to teach him a prayer with which he would pray Almighty Allah on that day (of `Ashura') when he would visit Imam

10 Ziyárah A'ashura Merits ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء al-husayn s tomb and to teach him another supplicatory prayer with which he would pray Almighty Allah on that day when he would be unable to visit the tomb and then he would point to the tomb and send greetings to Imam al-husayn (A) from his own house. The Imam thus said, Listen, `Alqamah! After you point to Imam al-husayn (A) with greetings and offer the two-unit prayer, you may utter the Takbir statement (i.e. allahu-akbar) and then say... (the forthcoming form of Ziyarah). If you do so, you will have said the prayer that is said by the angels who visit Imam al-husayn (A). You will be also raised one hundred million ranks to join the rank of those who were martyred with him (i.e. Imam al-husayn) and you will be included with their group. You will, moreover, be awarded the reward of the visiting of all Prophets and Messengers as well as the reward of all the visitors of Imam al-husayn (A) since the day of his martyrdom. 12 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ب ؾ م الل ي الػ ش م ن م الػ ش In the Name of Alláh, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful. bismi allahi alrrahmini alrrahimi

14 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء م ة ب ن ر ؿ ؿ م غ ل ا لؾ ال ي الل Peace be upon you, O son of Allah s Messenger. alssalamu `alayka yabna rasuli allahi

15 الؾ ال م غ ل م ة ط ػ ة ط ػ ث ي اب ن الل Ziyárah A'ashura ي و Peace be upon you, O choicest of Allah and son of His choicest. ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء alssalamu `alayka ya khiyarata allahi wabna khiyaratihi

16 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء م ة ب ن ام ػ م غ ل ا لؾ ال ال م م و ؤ ن Peace be upon you, O son of the Commander of the Faithful alssalamu `alayka yabna amiri almu'minina

17 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ع ال ض ن و اب ن ؿ and son of the chief of the Prophets successors. wabna sayyidi alwasiyyina

18 Ziyárah A'ashura م ة ب ن ةظ م ة ل ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء م غ ا لؾ ال Peace be upon you, O son of Fatimah alssalamu `alayka yabna fatimata

19 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ؿ ع ة ه ؾ ةء ن م ال ػ ةل the doyenne of the women of the worlds. sayyidati nisa'i al`alamina

20 م غ ا لؾ ال خ ةر ى م ة خ ةر ل الل ي و ال ال م ث ث ػ ر اب ن Ziyárah A'ashura و Peace be upon you, O vengeance of Allah, son of His vengeance, and the unavenged so far. alssalamu `alayka ya thara allahi wabna tharihi walwitra almawtura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء

22 غ ل ن م م و ز م ػة ؿ ال م Ziyárah A'ashura الل ي اب عا Peace of Allah be upon all of you from me forever ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء `alaykum minni jami`an salamu allahi abadan

23 ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء م ة ب ك ت و ب ك الل و Ziyárah A'ashura و الو ة ر as long as I am existent and as long as there are day and night. ma baqitu wa baqiya allaylu walnnaharu

24 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء الل ي ة اب ة غ ب ع O Abu-`Abdullah, ya aba `abdillahi

25 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ل ك ع غ ظ م ت الػ ز ة unbearable is the sorrow laqad `azumat alrraziyyatu

26 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء و ز ل ت و غ م ط ب ظ م ت ال م ب ة and excruciating and unbearable is the misfortune of you wa jallat wa `azumat almusibatu bika

27 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء م اإل ؿ ال و ز م ع ا ل و غ ة غ ل و for us and for all the people of Islam. `alayna wa `ala jami`i ahli al-islami

28 و ز ل ت و غ م ت م ط ب ج م ظ Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء Excruciating and unbearable has been your misfortune wa jallat wa `azumat musibatuka

29 ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ات ز الؾ م ةو ا ت غ ل الؾ م ةو و ا Ziyárah A'ashura م ع in the heavens for all the inhabitants of the heavens. fi alssamawati `ala jami`i ahli alssamawati

30 Ziyárah A'ashura ػ ن ة الل ي ل ام م الظ ل اؿ ؾ ت اؿ ة س ر و ال ر So, may Allah withhold blessing from the people who laid the basis of persecution and wronging against you, fala`ana allahu ummatan assasat asasa alzzulmi waljawri ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء

31 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء م ا غ ل و ن ال ب ت O Members of the Household. `alaykum ahla albayti

32 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء م ك الل ي و ل ػ ن ام ة د ةم ن م ػ ج ن م غ ن May Allah withhold blessing from the people who drove you away from your position wa la`ana allahu ummatan dafa`atkum `an maqamikum

33 Ziyárah A'ashura ػ اث ب ن م ال ج ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء م غ ن م ج ة الل ي م ر ث ب ن و ازال ن and removed you away from your ranks that Allah has put you in. wa azalatkum `an maratibikum allati rattabakum allahu fiha

34 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء م ج ام ة الل ي و ل ػ ن ل ج ل ن May Allah withhold blessing from the people who slew you. wa la`ana allahu ummatan qatalatkum

35 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ال م م الل ي و ل ػ ن ع ن ل م May Allah withhold blessing from those who paved the way for them to do so wa la`ana allahu almumahhidina lahum

36 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ب ةلج م ن ن م ن ل ج ةل ن م and who made possible for them to fight against you. bilttamkini min qitalikum

37 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ي الل إ ل ب ػ ا ت و إ ل ن م م و م I repudiate them in the presence of Allah and You bari'tu ila allahi wa ilaykum minhum

38 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ل ةا م و او و م ن اش ةغ م و اث ب ةغ م and I repudiate their devotees, followers, and loyalists. wa min ashya`ihim wa atba`ihim wa awliya'ihim

39 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء الل ي ة اب ة غ ب ع O Abu-`Abdullah, ya aba `abdillahi

40 Ziyárah A'ashura إ ه ؿ ل م ل م ن ؿ ةل م ن م ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء I am at peace with those who are at peace with you inni silmun liman salamakum

41 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء و ش ػ ب ل م ن ش ةر ب ن م م إ ل ال ك ةم ة and I am at war against those who have fought against you up to the Resurrection Day. wa harbun liman harabakum ila yawmi alqiyamati

42 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء الل ي و ل ػ ن اؿ ز ةد و اؿ ا ن م ػ و May Allah also withhold blessing from the family of Ziyad and the family of Marwan. wa la`ana allahu ala ziyadin wa ala marwana

43 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء الل ي و ل ػ ن ب و ام ة ل ةظ ب ة May Allah also withhold blessing from the descendants of Umayyah altogether. wa la`ana allahu bani umayyata qatibatan

44 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء م ػ ز اب ن الل ي و ل ػ ن ة ةه May Allah also withhold blessing from the son of Marjanah. wa la`ana allahu ibna marjanata

45 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ع ؿ ػ غ م ػ ب ن الل ي و ل ػ ن May Allah also withhold blessing from `Umar the son of Sa`d. wa la`ana allahu `umara bna sa`din

46 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ش م ػا الل ي و ل ػ ن May Allah also withhold blessing from Shimr. wa la`ana allahu shimran

47 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء الل ي و ل ػ ن ام ة اؿ ػ ز ت و ت ال ر م May Allah also withhold blessing from the people who saddled up, gave reins to their horses, wa la`ana allahu ummatan asrajat wa aljamat

48 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ب ت و ث و ل ك ج ةل م ك and masked their faces in preparation for fighting against you. wa tanaqqabat liqitalika

49 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ب ةب اه ت و ام May my father and mother be ransoms for you. bi'abi anta wa ummi

50 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء م م ط ل ك ع غ ظ ةب ب م Extremely insufferable is my commiserations with you; laqad `azuma musabi bika

51 ال غ ي الل ي ةؿ ةؿ و ب م ك ةم م اه ػ م م Ziyárah A'ashura و اه ػ م so, I beseech Allah Who has honored ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء your position and honored me because of you fa'as'alu allaha alladhi akrama maqamaka wa akramani bika

52 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ان ػ ز ل و ظل ب ؾ خ ةر to endue me with the chance to avenge you an yarzuqani talaba tha'rika

53 م ع ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء إ م ةم م و ط ر م ن ا و ب ت م ص م ع Ziyárah A'ashura with a (Divinely) supported leader from the Household of Muhammad, ma`a imamin mansurin min ahli bayti muhammadin

54 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء و ا ل ي ي غ ل الل ي ض ل peace of Allah be upon him and his Household. salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi

55 Ziyárah A'ashura از ػ ل و م غ و ع ؾ و ز ة الل ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء O Allah, (please) make me illustrious in Your sight allahumma ij`alni `indaka wajihan

56 ي الؾ الع ه ة ال م ب ةل ص ؾ ن غ ل و اال ط ػ ة in the name of al-husayn, peace be Ziyárah A'ashura upon him, in this world and in the Hereafter. bilhusayni `alayhi alssalamu fi alddunya wal-akhirati ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء

58 ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ػ ب إ ه اث ك و إ ل ي الل إ ل Ziyárah A'ashura ر ؿ ل ي I do seek nearness to Allah, to His Messenger, inni ataqarrabu ila allahi wa ila rasulihi

59 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ام ػ و إ ل ال م ؤ م و ن ةظ م ة و إ ل to the Commander of the Faithful, to Fatimah, wa ila amiri almu'minina wa ila fatimata

60 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ن ال ص ؾ و إ ل ث و إ ل م ب م اال م to al-hasan, and to you by means of loyalty to you wa ila alhasani wa ilayka bimuwalatika

61 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء و ب ةل ب ػ اء ة ( م م ن ل ةث ل م and by means of repudiation of those who fought against you wa bilbara'ati (mimman qatalaka

62 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ال ص ػ ب ل م و ه ط ب and incurred your hostility, wa nasaba laka alharba

63 Ziyárah A'ashura و ب ةل ب ػ اء ة م الظ ل م م ن اؿ ؽ اؿ ة س م ر غ ل ن و ال ر and repudiation of those who laid the basis of persecution and wronging against you all. wa bilbara'ati mimman assasa asasa alzzulmi waljawri `alaykum ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء

64 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ل ي( ر ؿ و إ ل ي الل إ ل و اب ػ ا I also repudiate, in the presence of Allah and His Messenger, wa abra'u ila allahi wa ila rasulihi)

65 ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء م م ن اؿ ؽ اؿ ةس ذل Ziyárah A'ashura م those who laid the basis of all that, mimman assasa asasa dhalika

66 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ي غ ل و ب و ي ب و ةه established their foundations on it, wa bana `alayhi bunyanahu

67 Ziyárah A'ashura م م و ز ر ى غ ل ن ظ ل ي م و غل اش ةغ ن و ز ػ ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ى and continued in wronging and persecuting you and your adherents. wa jara fi zulmihi wa jawrihi `alaykum wa `ala ashya`ikum

68 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ي الل إ ل ب ػ ا ت و إ ل ن م م و م In the presence of Allah and you all do I repudiate these. bari'tu ila allahi wa ilaykum minhum

69 Ziyárah A'ashura م خ م إ ل ن ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ػ ب ي الل إ ل و اث ك And I seek nearness to Allah and then to you all wa ataqarrabu ila allahi thumma ilaykum

70 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ب م اال ث ن م و م اال ة و ل ن م by means of declaring loyalty to you and to your loyalists bimuwalatikum wa muwalati waliyyikum

71 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء و ب ةل ب ػ اء ة م ن اغ ع اا ن م and declaring repudiation of your enemies wa bilbara'ati min a`da'ikum

72 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء م ةض ب ن و الو ل ن ال ص ػ ب and those who incur animosity of you walnnasibina lakum alharba

73 ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء و ب ةل ب ػ اء ة Ziyárah A'ashura م م ن اش ةغ م و اث ب ةغ and repudiation of their adherents and followers. wa bilbara'ati min ashya`ihim wa atba`ihim

74 Ziyárah A'ashura إ ه ؿ ل م ل م ن ؿ ةل م ن م ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء I am verily at peace with those who have been at peace with you, inni silmun liman salamakum

75 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء و ش ػ ب ل م ن ش ةر ب ن م I am at war against those who fought against you, wa harbun liman harabakum

76 Ziyárah A'ashura ل ل م ن و اال ه م ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء و و loyalist to those who have been loyalist to you, wa waliyyun liman walakum

77 Ziyárah A'ashura ل م ن غ ةد اه م ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء و غ ع و and enemy of those who have shown enmity towards you. wa `aduwwun liman `adakum

78 Ziyárah A'ashura و ةؿ ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء الل ي ةؿ ػ م ب م ػ ػ ج ن م ال غ ي اه So, I beseech Allah Who has endued me with the honor of recognizing you fa'as'alu allaha alladhi akramani bima`rifatikum

79 Ziyárah A'ashura ة او ل ةا ن م ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء و م ػ ػ and recognizing your loyalists wa ma`rifati awliya'ikum

80 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ة ال ب ػ اء و ر ز ل و م ن اغ ع اا ن م and Who conferred upon me with repudiation of your enemies, wa razaqani albara'ata min a`da'ikum

81 Ziyárah A'ashura ان ر ػ ل و م ػ ن م الع ه ة ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء و اال ط ػ ة to include me with you in this world and in the Hereafter an yaj`alani ma`akum fi alddunya walakhirati

82 Ziyárah A'ashura ض ع ؽ ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء و ان د ع م ب ت ل غ و ع ه م ل and to make firm step of honesty for me with you wa an yuthabbita li `indakum qadama sidqin

83 Ziyárah A'ashura الع ه ة و اال ط ػ ة ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء in this world and in the Hereafter. fi alddunya wal-akhirati

84 Ziyárah A'ashura ي ان ب ل ؾ و م ال م كة و اؿ ةل ال م ص م د ل ن م غ و ع الل ي ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء I also beseech Him to make me attain the praiseworthy status that you enjoy with Allah wa as'aluhu an yuballighani almaqama almahmuda lakum `inda allahi

85 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء و ان ػ ز ل و ظل ب خ ةر ي and to bestow upon me with the chance to take my own vengeance wa an yarzuqani talaba tha'ri

86 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء م ع إ م ةم عى ظ ة ػ with a leader of true guidance who is (Divinely) sustained ma`a imami hudan zahirin

87 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء م و ن م ب ةل ص ق ه ةظ ق and expressing the truth from among you. natiqin bilhaqqi minkum

88 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ب ص ك ن م الل ي و اؿ ةؿ I also beseech Allah in your names wa as'alu allaha bihaqqikum

89 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء و ب ةلش ةن ال غ ي ل ن م غ و ع ى and in the name of the standing that you enjoy with Him wa bilshsha'ni alladhi lakum `indahu

90 Ziyárah A'ashura ز ي ار ة ع اش ور اء ان ػ ع و ب م ط ةب ب ن م to recompense me for my commiserations for you an yu`tiyani bimusabi bikum

157 Duá Alqamah Merits دعاء علقمة Muhammad ibn Khalid al-tayalisi has reported the following from Sayf ibn `Umayrah: Accompanied by Safwan ibn Mahran and a group of our companions, I convoyed Imam al-sadiq (A) to al-ghari (currently al-najaf). After that, we traveled from al-hirah towards al- Madinah. When we accomplished visiting the tomb of Imam `Ali Amir al-mu'minin (A), Safwan turned his face towards the tomb of Imam al-husayn (A) and said to us, Would you like to visit al- Husayn (A) from this very place, which was the side of Imam `Ali s head? So, Imam al-sadiq (A) and I pointed to him in affirmative. Safwan then uttered the ziyarah form, which was reported by `Alqamah ibn Muhammad al-hadrami from Imam al-baqir (A) to be said on the `Ashura' Day. He then offered a two-unit prayer at the side of Imam `Ali s headside. Upon accomplishment of the prayer, Safwan bid farewell to Imam `Ali (A), turned his face towards the tomb of Imam al-husayn (A), pointed to him with his hand, and bid farewell to him, saying the following supplication:

199 Duá Alqamah ن م و ب ي ط ط ط ج م د ون ال ػ ةل دعاء علقمة and given them exclusively other than all the other beings, wa bihi khasastahum duna al`alamina

200 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ب ي اب و ج م and through which You have distinguished them wa bihi abantahum

201 Duá Alqamah م م ن ض و و اب و ت ضل ال ػ ةل م ن and demonstrated their distinctive precedence over all the other beings so uniquely wa abanta fadlahum min fadli al`alamina دعاء علقمة

202 م ضو ش ج ةؽ ضل ال ػ ةل م ن ز م ػة that their preference has exceeded all Duá Alqamah the distinctive features of all the other beings; hatta faqa fadluhum fadla al`alamina jami`an دعاء علقمة

203 م ان ث ط ل اؿ ةل دعاء علقمة م ص م م ص م غ ل Duá Alqamah ع و ا ؿ ع I beseech You (in the name of all that) to send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, as'aluka an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

204 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ان ث ن ش ؿ غ و ؽ م to relieve me from my distress, wa an takshifa `anni ghammi

205 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة م و ه ػ ب و grief, and agony, wa hammi wa karbi

206 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ث نػ ف و ال م م ن ام ر ي م to make up for me all my distressing affairs, wa takfiyani almuhimma min umuri

207 Duá Alqamah و ث ك ض غ و د و دعاء علقمة to help me settle my debts, wa taqdiya `anni dayni

208 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ر ػػ ه م ن و ث ال فك ػ to safeguard me against poverty, wa tujirani min alfaqri

209 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ر ػػ ه م ن و ث ة ال ف ةل to safeguard me against scarcity, wa tujirani min alfaqati

210 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ل و ث ؾ و و غ ن ال م ظ م ؾ ال ل ن إ ل ة ةل to make me dispense with begging from the created beings, wa tughniyani `an almas'alati ila almakhluqina

211 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ةؼ م ي و ث نػ ف و م م ن اط to spare me from the distress of what I anticipate to distress me, wa takfiyani hamma man akhafu hammahu

212 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و غ ؾ ػ م ن اط ةؼ غ ؾ ػ ى the difficulty of what I anticipate to be difficult for me, wa `usra man akhafu `usrahu

213 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ة م ن و ش ؼوه ةؼ ش اط ج ي ؼوه the toughness of what I anticipate to be hard for me (to deal with), wa huzunata man akhafu huzunatahu

214 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ش ػ م ن اط ةؼ ش ػ ى the evil of what I anticipate to be evil, wa sharra man akhafu sharrahu

215 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و م ن ػ م ن ةؼ م ػ ى اط ن the conspiracy of whom I anticipate to plot conspiracy (against me), wa makra man akhafu makrahu

216 Duá Alqamah ي م ن اط ةؼ ب ؾ دعاء علقمة و ب ؾ the tyranny of whom I anticipate to treat me tyrannically, wa baghya man akhafu baghyahu

217 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ز ر م ن اط ةؼ ز ر ى the injustice of whom I anticipate to be unjust to me wa jawra man akhafu jawrahu

218 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ةن م ن و ؿ ل ع ةؼ ؿ اط ع ي ل ةه the domination of whom I anticipate to dominate me, wa sultana man akhafu sultanahu

219 Duá Alqamah ع ى اط ةؼ ه دعاء علقمة و ه ع م ن the trickery of whom I anticipate to trick me, wa kayda man akhafu kaydahu

220 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ل م ن و م ك ع ر ة ةؼ م اط ي غ ك ع ر ث and the authority of whom I anticipate to seize me, wa maqdurata man akhafu maqduratahu `alayya

221 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ث ػ د غ و ه ع ال ن ة ع and to ward off from me the trickeries of the deceivers wa tarudda `anni kayda alkayadati

222 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ال م ن ػ ة و م ن ػ and the cunning of the devious. wa makra almakarati

223 Duá Alqamah ه ةر د ى دعاء علقمة م م ن ار اد الل O Allah, stand for me against him who intends evil for me, allahumma man aradani fa'arid-hu

224 Duá Alqamah ه ن ع ى دعاء علقمة و م ن ه ةد intrigue against him who intends to conspire against me, wa man kadani fakid-hu

225 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و اض ػ ؼ غ و ه ع ى و م ن ػ ى turn away from me his trickeries, cunning, wasrif `anni kaydahu wa makrahu

226 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ب ةؿ ي و ام ةه ي influence, and evil desires, wa ba'sahu wa amaniyyahu

227 Duá Alqamah و ام و ػ ي دعاء علقمة غ و ه ؿ ش ب ش ب ت و اه ت and prevent him against me in any way You choose and at any time You choose. wamna`hu `anni kayfa shi'ta wa anna shi'ta

228 Duá Alqamah ؾ ل ي غ و دعاء علقمة لل م اش ا O Allah, (please) preoccupy him against me allahumma ashghalhu `anni

229 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ر ب ػ ى ب ف ك ػ ال ث by means of poverty that You never cut down, bifaqrin la tajburuhu

230 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ؾ ج ػ ى و ب ب الء ال ث ordeals that You never recover, wa bibala'in la tasturuhu

231 Duá Alqamah ة و ب ف ةل ة ال ث ؾ ع دعاء علقمة neediness that You never stop, wa bifaqatin la tasudduha

232 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ب ؾ ك م ال ث ػ ة ي ailment that You never heal, wa bisuqmin la tu`afihi

233 Duá Alqamah ى و ذ ؿ ال ث ػ ؼ دعاء علقمة humility that You never change into dignity, wa dhullin la tu`izzuhu

234 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ر ب ػ و ب م ؾ ن و ة ال ث ة and destitution that You never cut down. wa bimaskanatin la tajburuha

235 Duá Alqamah ي ب ةلغ ؿ ب اض ػ ه ط ب غ و دعاء علقمة م الل O Allah, (please) strike him with humility in the center of his eyes, allahumma idrib bildhdhulli nasba `aynayhi

236 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ػ ي غ ل ط و و اد ال فك م و ؼ ل ي interleave poverty to his own house, wa adkhil `alayhi alfaqra fi manzilihi

237 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة م و الؾ ك و ال ػ ل ة ب ع ه ي place ailment and disease in his body wal`illata walssuqma fi badanihi

238 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ش ج ال ػ اغ ث ش ؾ ل ي غ و ب ش ؾ و ش ةؽ و ل ي so that You will preoccupy him with an engrossing, relentless preoccupation, hatta tashghalahu `anni bishughlin shaghilin la faragha lahu

239 Duá Alqamah ؾ ج ي ذ ه ػ ؾ و اه ؾ ي ذ ه ػ ي ه م ة اه دعاء علقمة make him fail to remember me in the same was as he has failed to remember You, wa ansihi dhikri kama ansaytahu dhikraka

240 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ط غ غ و ب ؾ م ػ ي و ب ط ػ ى divert from me his hearing, sight, wa khudh `anni bisam`ihi wa basarihi

241 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ل ؾ ةه ي و ع ى tongue, hand, wa lisanihi wa yadihi

242 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ب و ر ز ل ي و ل ل ي leg, heart, wa rijlihi wa qalbihi

243 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ز م ع ز ار ش ي and all of his organs, wa jami`i jawarihihi

244 Duá Alqamah ذل اد غ ل ي ز م ع م و ط و الؾ ك م place in him sickness in all these (organs), دعاء علقمة wa adkhil `alayhi fi jami`i dhalika alssuqma

245 Duá Alqamah و ال ث ش ف ي ش ج ث ر ػ و ش ؾ ال ش ةؽ ال ب ي ل ي م ذل and do not heal him so that all these (sicknesses) will preoccupy him relentlessly wa la tashfihi hatta taj`ala dhalika lahu shughlan shaghilan bihi دعاء علقمة

246 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة غ و و غ ن ذ ه ػ ي from me and from mentioning me. `anni wa `an dhikri

247 Duá Alqamah و اهػ ف و ة ه ة م ة ال نػ ف دعاء علقمة ؿ اؾ And spare me, O Savior, from all that which cannot be spared by anyone other than You, wakfini ya kafi ma la yakfi siwaka

248 Duá Alqamah ال ن ة دعاء علقمة إ ه م ال ه ة ؿ ا ؾ for You are verily the Savior; and there is no savior other than You, fa'innaka alkafi la kafiya siwaka

249 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة م ف ػ و م ف ج ال ػ ج ؿ اؾ You are verily the Reliever, and there is no reliever other than You, wa mufarrijun la mufarrija siwaka

250 Duá Alqamah ؾ ح ال م ؾ ح ؿ اؾ دعاء علقمة و م You are verily the Succorer, and there is no succorer other than You, wa mughithun la mughitha siwaka

251 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ز ةر ال ز ةر ؿ اؾ and You are verily the Shelterer, and there is no shelterer other than You. wa jarun la jara siwaka

252 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ط ةب م ن ةن ز ةر ى ه ؿ اؾ Disappointed is he whose shelterer is other than You, khaba man kana jaruhu siwaka

253 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و م ؾ د ي ؿ اؾ whose recourse to anywhere other than You, wa mughithuhu siwaka

254 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و م ف ؼ غ ي إ ل ؿ ا ؾ whose resort is anywhere other than You, wa mafza`uhu ila siwaka

255 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و م ػ ب ي إ ل ؿ ا ؾ whose way out is anywhere other than You, wa mahrabuhu ila siwaka

256 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ؽ ؾ ػ إ ل و م ل ر ةى whose haven is anywhere other than You, wa malja'uhu ila ghayrika

257 Duá Alqamah ػ ؾ م ن م ظ ل ؽ ؽ دعاء علقمة و م و ر ةى and whose savior from any created being is anyone other than You. wa manjahu min makhluqin ghayrika

258 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ةه ت خ ك ج و ر ز ةا You are verily my trust, my hope, fa'anta thiqati wa raja'i

259 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و م ف ؼ غ و م ػ ب my resort, my way out, wa mafza`i wa mahrabi

260 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ة ي و م و ر إ ي و م ل ر my haven, and my savior. wa malja'i wa manjaya

261 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ب م اؿ ج ف ج س With You do I commence fabika astaftihu

262 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ب م اؿ ج و ر س and through You do I seek success. wa bika astanjihu

263 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ب م ص م ع و ا ؿ م ص م ع In the name of Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad wa bimuhammadin wa ali muhammadin

264 Duá Alqamah ع ؿ و اث ش و ف اث دعاء علقمة م و اث ز ي إ ل do I turn my face towards You, seek means to You, and seek intercession to You. atawajjahu ilayka wa atawassalu wa atashaffa`u

265 Duá Alqamah ي ةل م ة الل ي ة الل ي ة الل دعاء علقمة ةؿ So, I beseech You, O Allah! O Allah! O Allah! fa'as'aluka ya allahu ya allahu ya allahu

266 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة الش ن ػ و ل م ع ال ص م ل م Yours is all praise and Yours is all thanks. falaka alhamdu wa laka alshshukru

267 Duá Alqamah و إ ل م م ؾ ج ػ ةن ال م ش ج ن و اه ت ال To You is my complaint and You are the Besought for help. دعاء علقمة wa ilayka almushtaka wa anta almusta`anu

268 Duá Alqamah ي ةل م ة الل ي ة الل ي ة الل دعاء علقمة ةؿ So, I beseech You, O Allah! O Allah! O Allah! fa'as'aluka ya allahu ya allahu ya allahu

269 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ب ص ق م ص م ػع و ا ؿ م ص م ػع In the name of Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad bihaqqi muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

270 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة م ص م غ ل ع ع و ا ؿ م ص م ان ث ط ل to send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

271 Duá Alqamah ش ؿ غ و ؽ م و م دعاء علقمة و ان ث ن و ه ػ ب and to relieve my distress, grief, and agony wa an takshifa `anni ghammi wa hammi wa karbi

272 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة م ك ةم غ ا in this situation of mine fi maqami hadha

273 ه م ة ه ش ف ت غ ن ه ب م م ي و ؽ م ي Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ه ػ ب ي in the same way as You have relieved the distress, grief, and agony of Your Prophet kama kashafta `an nabiyyika hammahu wa ghammahu wa karbahu

274 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ج ي غ ع ؿ و ى و هػف and saved him from the horrors of his enemy. wa kafaytahu hawla `aduwwihi

275 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ةه ش ؿ ت غ غ و ه م ة ه ش ف و ي So, (please) relieve me in the same way as You did to him, fakshif `anni kama kashafta `anhu

276 Duá Alqamah ػ ز ت غ و ي و ه م ة دعاء علقمة ج غ و ػ dispel my worries in the same way as You did to him, wa farrij `anni kama farrajta `anhu

277 Duá Alqamah و اهػ ف و ه م ة هػ ف ج ي دعاء علقمة save me in the same way as You did to him, wakfini kama kafaytahu

278 Duá Alqamah و اض ػ ؼ ل ي غ و ؿ م ة اط ة ؼ دعاء علقمة drive away from me the horror of what I anticipate to horrify me, wasrif `anni hawla ma akhafu hawlahu

279 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و م ؤ ةؼ م وه ة م ة اط ج ي ؤوه the encumbrance of what I anticipate to overburden me, wa ma'unata ma akhafu ma'unatahu

280 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و م م ة اط ةؼ م ي and the distress of what I anticipate to distress me wa hamma ma akhafu hammahu

281 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ة ب ال م ؤ وه غ ل ن م ذل ه ف ؾ م without making me suffer any encumbrance due to all that. bila ma'unatin `ala nafsi min dhalika

282 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و اض ػ و ب ك ض ةء ش اا ر And make me leave having all my requests granted wasrifni biqada'i hawa'iji

283 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و هػ ف ة ة م ة ا م و م ي and having all my distresses relieved, wa kifayati ma ahammani hammahu

284 Duá Alqamah ةي م ن ام ػ ا ط ػ ث و ده دعاء علقمة including the affairs of this world and the Hereafter. min amri akhirati wa dunyaya

285 Duá Alqamah Merits دعاء علقمة Please face towards Iraq

286 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة م و ن ال م ؤ ة ام ػ O Commander of the Faithful! ya amira almu'minina

287 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ي الل ع اب ة غ ب و ة O Abu-`Abdullah! wa ya aba `abdillahi

288 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة غ ل ن م ة م و ؿ الم اب عا ي الل Peace of Allah be upon you both from me forever `alaykuma minni salamu allahi abadan

289 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة م ة ب ك ت و ب ك ة ر و الو الل و as long as I am existent and as long as there are day and night. ma baqitu wa baqiya allaylu walnnaharu

290 ع م ال ز ػ ل ي الل ي ػ ن ا ط ال ػ و ز ةر ث ن م ة May Allah not decide this time of my Duá Alqamah visit to you both to be the last. دعاء علقمة wa la ja`alahu allahu akhira al`ahdi min ziyaratikuma

291 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ػ ؽ و ال الل ي ب و و ب و ن م ة May Allah never separate me from you both. wa la farraqa allahu bayni wa baynakuma

292 Duá Alqamah ع و ذ ر ج ي دعاء علقمة م اش الل م ص م و ش ةة O Allah, (please) make me live the same lifestyle that Muhammad and his offspring lived, allahumma ahyini hayata muhammadin wa dhurriyyatihi

293 Duá Alqamah م و ام ج و م م ةث دعاء علقمة make me die on the same faith on which they died, wa amitni mamatahum

294 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة م م ل ج غ ل و ث و receive my soul while I am following their religion, wa tawaffani `ala millatihim

295 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و اش ش ػ ه م م ػ ث ز include me with their group, wahshurni fi zumratihim

296 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ؽ ب و ال ث ف ػ و و ب و م and never separate me from them wa la tufarriq bayni wa baynahum

297 Duá Alqamah غ ن اب عا ة دعاء علقمة ظ ػ not for even a winking of any eye tarfata `aynin abadan

298 Duá Alqamah الع ه ة و اال ط ػ ة دعاء علقمة in this world and in the Hereafter. fi alddunya wal-akhirati

299 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة م و ن ال م ؤ ة ام ػ O Commander of the Faithful! ya amira almu'minina

300 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ي الل ع اب ة غ ب و ة O Abu-`Abdullah! wa ya aba `abdillahi

301 Duá Alqamah ن م ة ز اا ػا دعاء علقمة اث ج I have come to you both to visit you, ataytukuma za'iran

302 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ؿ ال ر ب و ر ب ن م ة ي الل إ ل و م ج making both of you to be my means to Allah your and my Lord, wa mutawassilan ila allahi rabbi wa rabbikuma

303 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و م ج ز ة إ ل ي ب ن م ة turning my face to Him in your names, wa mutawajjihan ilayhi bikuma

304 Duá Alqamah ث ػ ةل دعاء علقمة و م ؾ ج ش ي الل إ ل ف ػة ب ن م ة ش ةز ج غ ى and seeking your intercession for me with Allah All-exalted to grant me this request of mine; wa mustashfi`an bikuma ila allahi ta`ala fi hajati hadhihi

305 Duá Alqamah ل دعاء علقمة ةش ف ػ ة so, intercede for me, fashfa`a li

306 Duá Alqamah إ ن ل ن م ة غ و ع الل د ال م ص م ال م كة م ي since you both enjoy with Allah a دعاء علقمة praiseworthy position, fa'inna lakuma `inda allahi almaqama almahmuda

307 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ال ر ةى ال ز ي an admissible status, waljaha alwajiha

308 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ال م و ؼ ؿ الػ ع و ال ؿ ل ة a lofty standing, and a means (of nearness to Him). walmanzila alrrafi`a walwasilata

309 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة إ ه اه ك ل ب غ و ن م ة I will now leave you both, inni anqalibu `ankuma

310 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ظ ػا ل ج و ر ؼ م و ج ة ال ص ةز expecting my request to be granted, muntaziran litanajjuzi alhajati

311 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ل ض ةا ة و ه ر ةش ة م ن ي الل settled, and made successful by Allah wa qada'iha wa najahiha min allahi

312 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ب ش ف ةغ ج ن م ة ل م ذل ي الل إ ل on account of your intercession for me with Allah in that; bishafa`atikuma li ila allahi fi dhalika

313 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ال اط ب so, do not let me down fala akhibu

314 Duá Alqamah ب م و كل بة ط ةا بة و ال ن ن م و كل ط ةؿ ػا and do not make me leave with disappointment and loss; دعاء علقمة wa la yakunu munqalabi munqalaban kha'iban khasiran

315 ب م و كل بة ر از صة كل Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ن ن م و ب و rather, make me leave with achievement, bal yakunu munqalabi munqalaban rajihan

316 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ةبة م و م ف ل صة م ؾ ج ر ر صة prosperity, success, and response (of my prayers) muflihan munjihan mustajaban

317 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ب ك ض ةء ز م ع ش اا ر by having all my requests granted. biqada'i jami`i hawa'iji

318 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ػ ة ل و ث ش ف ي الل إ ل And (please) intercede for me with Allah recurrently. wa tashaffa`a li ila allahi

319 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ب ت الل ي م ة ش ة ء غ ل إ ه كل I now leave on whatever is willed by Allah shall come to pass inqalabtu `ala ma sha'a allahu

320 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ال ش ؿ و ال ل ة إ ال ي ب ةلل and there is neither might nor power except with Allah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahi

321 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ضة ام ػ ي م ف ي الل إ ل relegating all my affairs to Allah, mufawwidan amri ila allahi

322 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ي الل إ ل ػ ي م ل ر ئ ظ referring all my power to Allah, mulji'an zahri ila allahi

323 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ي الل غ ل م ج ه ال depending upon Allah, mutawakklan `ala allahi

324 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و ال ؿ الل ي ش ؾ ب و هػ ف and repeating, Allah is only sufficient to me, wa aqulu hasbiya allahu wa kafa

325 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ل م ن د غ ة الل ي ؿ م ع and May Allah respond to him who prays Him. sami`a allahu liman da`a

326 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ل ؽ ل و ر اء ي الل Other than Allah laysa li wara'a allahi

327 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة و و ر اء ه م ة ؿ ةد ث م و ج and other than you all, O my masters, I have nothing to put my hope in. wa wara'akum ya sadati muntaha

328 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة م ة ش ةء ر ب ه ةن Only that which my Lord wills shall come to pass, ma sha'a rabbi kana

329 Duá Alqamah ن ل م ن دعاء علقمة ة ل م ش ة و م and whatever He does not will shall never be. wa ma lam yasha' lam yakun

330 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ل ة إ ال و ال ؿ و ال ش ي ب ةلل There is neither might nor power except with Allah. wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahi

331 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة الل ي د غ ن م ة اؿ ج I entrust you both with Allah. astawdi`ukuma allaha

332 Duá Alqamah م و و ال ز ػ ل ي ا ط الل ي ػ إ ل ن م ة ع ال ػ دعاء علقمة May Allah never decide this time of my visit to you both to be the last. wa la ja`alahu allahu akhira al`ahdi minni ilaykuma

333 Duá Alqamah ة ؿ إ ه ط ػ ت ع ي ة ام ػ دعاء علقمة ال ي و م م و ن ال م ؤ May I now leave, O my master, O Commander of the faithful insaraftu ya sayyidi ya amira almu'minina wa mawlaya

341 Duá Alqamah م ع م ر ع دعاء علقمة ي ش إ ه for He is verily the owner of praise and the owner of glory. fa'innahu hamidun majidun

342 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ب ت إ ه كل ة ؿ ع ي غ و ن م ة I am now leaving you both, O my masters, inqalabtu ya sayyidayya `ankuma

344 Duá Alqamah ش ةه ػا ر از ة ة ل إل ز ةب دعاء علقمة and thanking Him and hoping Him to respond to me; shakiran rajiyan lil-ijabati

345 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ؽ ػ ا ؽ و ال ل ةه ط I neither despair nor lose hope, ghayra ayisin wa la qanitin

346 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة غ ةا عا ر از ػة ز ةر ث ن م ة إ ل ا ا بة and I intend to come back, return, revisit you both, a'iban `a'idan raji`an ila ziyaratikuma

347 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ؽ ػ ر غ ن اؽ ب غ و ن م ة و ال ز ةر ث ن م ة while I have never desired to leave you or to abandon visiting you; ghayra raghibin `ankuma wa la `an ziyaratikuma

348 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ب و ر از ع غ ةا ع إ ن ش ةء الل ي rather, I shall return and come back, if Allah wills. bal raji`un `a'idun in sha'a allahu

349 Duá Alqamah دعاء علقمة ل ة إ ال و ال ؿ و ال ش ي ب ةلل There is neither might nor power except with Allah. wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahi

373 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء ػ م و ا ج س ل ج ص ة ؾ ػ ا And give them an easy victory, Waftah Lahum Fath an Yaseeraa

374 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء ػ م ر و ش و ا ث س ل ة و ػ ز ة ل ػ ب ة Create favorable conditions for them to make life full of love and cheerfulness, and free of care, as early as possible, Wa Atih Lahum Rawh an Wa Farajan Qareebaa

375 Amáál of Ashurá غ و ع ؾ و غ و از ػ و ع م ل م م ن ل ه ع و م ؿ ل عو ة غ ل ه ط ػ ا. And on Thy authority let them have full control over Thy enemies (which are also) their enemies, to help rescue and defend (mankind). أع مال ع اش ور اء Waj-A l Lahum Min Ladunka A laa A duwwika Wa A duwwihim Sut aanan Nas eeraa

377 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء ػ ت و هػف ػن م ة ب ةل ل And renounced the faith and did not infact believe in the Kalimah {La ilaaha illallah} ; Wa Afarat Bil Kalimati

378 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء ت غ و غ نػف ك ةد ة الظل م ة ل ال And attached themselves to the trend setters of disorder and tyranny; Wa A kafat A lal Qaadatiz Z alamati

379 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء و ر ػ ت ال نػ ج ةب و الؾ و ة And disowned and gave up the Book and the (Divine) rule of life; Wa Hajaratil Itaaba Was Sunnaata

401 Amáál of Ashurá غاب ة ه ن ػ ا أع مال ع اش ور اء ب م غ و غ غ Let them have the taste of a hard and sharp retribution; Wa A d d ibhum A d aaban Nukraa

402 Amáál of Ashurá و غ ط م ب ةلؾ و ن و ال ػم د ال ت ػن ت ب ة م غ ع اا ال ج ا ل ا Fester them with definite and exemplary punishment, as You wipe out Your enemies; أع مال ع اش ور اء Wa Khud hum Bis Sineena Wal Muthalaatil Latee Ahlakta Bihaa Aa -Daa-Aka

403 أع مال ع اش ور اء م ن ال ػم ر ا ه م ذ و ه ك م ة Amáál of Ashurá ػ م ن For indeed, You crack down upon the criminals. Innaka D oo Niqmatim Minal Mujrimeen

408 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء و ا ل م ع ال ب ةظ و و ا ل ي Restrain and prevent falsehood, and the camp-followers of falsehood, Wa Aqmi-I lbaat ila Wa Ahlahoo

411 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء ر و غ و ة ػ ز و Make available for us, as soon as possible, happiness and bliss, Wa A jjil Farajanaa

412 Amáál of Ashurá و اه ظ م ي ب ف ػ ج م ا و ل ة ا أع مال ع اش ور اء Bring everything into good order through the inspiring presence of Your representatives; Wan-Z Imhu Bi-Faraji Awliyaaa-Ika

413 Amáál of Ashurá ػ م دا و از ػ ل و ة ل ع ا أع مال ع اش ور اء ل و ةو و از ػ ل م و And make them receive us with open arms. Waj-A lhum Lanaa Wuddaa Waj-A lnaa Lahum Wafdaa

414 م ل ج الل و ا ل م م ن ز ػ و م و Amáál of Ashurá م و ط ػ ث م غ ع ا اب ن ه ب أع مال ع اش ور اء O my Allah! Bring to nothing those who celebrate the day the (grand) son of Your choicest Prophet was martyred; Allaahumma Wa Ahlika Man Ja-A la Yawma Qatlibni Nabiyyika Wa Khiyaratika Eeda

415 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء و و اؿ ج ب ي ػ ز ة و م ػ ش ة And who laugh and enjoy in utter delight and indulge in cheerful merriment; Was-Tahalla Bihee Farajan Wa Marah aa

416 و ط غ أع مال ع اش ور اء ه م اط ػ م ػ م و ا ط غ ت ا و ل Amáál of Ashurá ة ض ةغ ؿ Catch hold and punish each one of the remaining, just as You punished the early (culprits); Make twice as much the penalty, Wa Khud Aakhirahum Kamaa Akhad ta Awwalahum Wa Z Aa-I fi

417 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء الل م اب و الج و ال ػ غ ن و O my Allah, and the punishment, Allaahumal A d aaba Wat Tankeela

418 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء ظ ةل ػم غ ل م ب ا و ب ت ه On the tyrants who took liberties with and abused the family of Your Prophet; A laa Z aalimee Ahli Bayti Nabiyyika

And let people subscribe to and uphold, Baqiyyatim Minash Shajaratit t ayyibatiz Zaakiyatil Mubaarakati Wa Aa -Li أع مال ع اش ور اء

427 Amáál of Ashurá ب ش ػ ج م و خ ب ت لل أع مال ع اش ور اء Make firm and strong the hearts and minds of their followers, Wa Thabbit Qulooba Shee-A tihim

428 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء و ش ؼ ب م م ج ظ ةغ غ ل To belong to Your party, obedient to You, Wa H izbika A laa T aa-a tika

429 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء ط ػ و و ال ج م و ه ثػ م To love them; to support them; Wa Wilaayahihum Wa Nus ratihim

430 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء و م اال ث ػ م و ا غ و م Stand by them; signify them; Wa Muwaalaatihim Wa A-I nhum

431 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء ذى و ام و ص م الط ب ػ غ اال ل م Grant them patience whenever they put up with damage and injury in Your cause; Wam-Nah -Humus s abra A lal Ad aa Feeka

432 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء د ة ةم ة م ش و از ػ ل م ا And make for them days, in which people will see them and find them among themselves to pronounce the profession of true faith Waj-A lhum Ayyaamam Mash-Hoodatan

433 Amáál of Ashurá ة أع مال ع اش ور اء م ؾ ػ د ة م ػص م د ة و ا و لةث And blissful and happy times; Wa Awqaatam Mah moodatam Mas-O odah

434 Amáál of Ashurá ػ ز م ث ش م ة أع مال ع اش ور اء Be quick in providing relief and joy, after a long period of suffering, on account of their presence; Tooshiku Feehaa Farajahum

435 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء و ث ز ب ة ث ػم ن و م Bring on their worthy decent and refined sphere of influence; Wa Toojibu Feehaa Tamkeenahum

436 و ه ط ػ م أع مال ع اش ور اء ه م ة ض م و ت ػم و هػ ج ةب م ال ؼ م ال و ل ة ا Amáál of Ashurá ؿ And support them as You have given a guarantee in this connection in Your revealed Book; Wa Nas rahum Kamaa Z Aminta Li- Awliyaaa-Ika Fee Kitaabikal Munzal

439 Amáál of Ashurá و م ظ ل ف أع مال ع اش ور اء اؿ ج ظ ل ؿ ل ؾ ج ر ض ه م ة اال ال غ ن م ن ل ب ل م That He will most certainly make them rulers in the earth as He made rulers those before them, Layastakh-Lifannahum Fil Arz I Kamastakh- Lafallad eena Min qablihim:

440 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء و ل م ػ م ن و ن ل ار ث ض غ د و م ال ى ل ػ م And that He will most certainly establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them, Wa La-Yumakkinanna Lahum Deenahumullad ir Taz Aa Lahum

441 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء ػو م و ل ب ن م ع ل م و ب ػ ع ط م ا ة And that He will most certainly, after their fear, give them security in exchange; Wa Layubaddi Lannahum Mim Baa -Di Khawfihim Amnaa:

442 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء ش ػ ه ن ب و ال ػ ب ع و ه ش ئ They shall serve Me, not associating aught with Me. (24:55) Yaa Budoonanee Laa Yushrikoona Bee Shay-Aa

475 Amáál of Ashurá أع مال ع اش ور اء ت ش م ت اه ن It is You who possesses and exercises absolute power; Anta H akamta
