2 م ص الل و غ ل م د م د و ا م د م د ل O' Allah send Your blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

3 ب ش م الل ي الر خ م ن م الر خ In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful. bismi allahi alrrahmini alrrahimi

4 ي الل ص ب د ان All Glory be to Allah, subhana allahi

5 ي ل ل د و ال د م all praise be to Allah, walhamdu lillahi

6 الل ي إ ال إ ل ي و ال there is no god save Allah, wa la ilaha illa allahu

7 اه ب ر و الل ي Allah is the Greatest, wallahu akbaru

8 ب الل ي ال ػ ل ال خ ل و ال ل ة إ ال و ال ػ ظ م there is neither power nor might save with Allah, the Most High, the Allmagnificent. wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahi al`aliyyi al`azimi

9 ي الل ص ب د ان ا ء الل اه الو ار و اط و ر ا ف Glory be to Allah in hours of the night and at the two ends of the day. subhana allahi ana'a allayli wa atrafa alnnahari

10 ي الل ص ب د ان ب ال غ د و و اال ص ا ل Glory be to Allah in the morning and the evening hours. subhana allahi bilghuduwwi wal-asali

11 ي ب ال ػ ش الل ص ب د ان و اإل ب ن ا ر Glory be to Allah in the early hours of night and morning. subhana allahi bil`ashiyyi wal-ibkari

12 ص ب د ان الل ي خ ن ث م ش ن و خ ن ث ص ب د ن Glory be to Allah when you enter the night and when you enter the morning. subhana allahi hina tumsuna wa hina tusbihuna

13 د م و ل ي ال الش م او ف د ض و االر ا ت Unto Him be praise in the heavens, the earth, wa lahu alhamdu fi alssamawati wal-ardi

14 و غ ش ا و خ ن ث ظ ر ون at the sun's decline, and in the noonday. wa `ashiyyan wa hina tuzhiruna

15 الم ت ن م خ ر ج ال د He brings forth the living from the dead, yukhriju alhayya mina almayyiti

16 و خ ر ج الد ت ال م ن م brings forth the dead from the living, wa yukhriju almayyita mina alhayyi

17 ث ا ب ػ د م ض االر و د revives the earth after its death, wa yuhyi al-arda ba`da mawtiha

18 ذل م و ه ث خ ر ج ن and even so will you be brought forth. wa kadhalika tukhrajuna

19 ص ب د ان ر ب م ر ب ا غ م ال ػ ز ة ص ف ن Glorified be Your Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (to Him). subhana rabbika rabbi al`izzati `amma yasifuna

20 ص ل ن ال م ر غ ل و ص ال م Peace be upon the Messengers. wa salamun `ala almursalina

21 و ال د م د ل ل ي ر ب ن م ال ػ ال All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. walhamdu lillahi rabbi al`alamina

22 ص ب د ان ذ ي ن و ال م م ال م ل ل ت Glory be to the Lord of Kingdom and Realm. subhana dhi almulki walmalakuti

23 ص ب د ان ذ ي ال ػ ز ة و ال ج ب ر و ت Glory be to the Lord of Majesty and Magnificence. subhana dhi al`izzati waljabaruti

24 ص ب د ان ذ ي ال ن ب ر ا ء و ال ػ ظ ة م Glory be to the Lord of Greatness and Magnitude; subhana dhi alkibriya'i wal`azamati

25 ال د ق ال م ل م ال ك دو س م ن ال م the True Sovereign, the Guardian, and the Holy. almaliki alhaqqi almuhaymini alquddusi

26 ص ب د ان ال د ال م ت ي ال م ل م الل ذ ال ي Glory be to Allah, the Sovereign, the Ever-living Who never dies. subhana allahi almaliki alhayyi alladhi la yamutu

27 ص ب د ان ال د الل ي ال م ل م ال ك د وس Glory be to Allah, the Ever-living, the Holy. subhana allahi almaliki alhayyi alquddusi

28 ص ب د ان الد ائ م ال ك ائ م Glory be to the Self-Existent, the Eternal. subhana alqa'imi aldda'imi

29 ص ب د ان ال ك ائ م الد ائ م Glory be to the Eternal, the Self- Existent. subhana aldda'imi alqa'imi

30 ص ب د ان ر ب ال ػ ظ م Glory be to my Lord, the Most Great. subhana rabbiya al`azimi

31 ص ب د ان ر ب االغ ل Glory be to my Lord, the Most High. subhana rabbiya al-a`la

32 ال ك م ص ب د ان ال د Glory be to the Ever-living, the Self- Existent. subhana alhayyi alqayyumi

33 االغ ل ال ػ ل ص ب د ان Glory be to the Exalted, the Most High. subhana al`aliyyi al-a`la

34 و ث ػ ص ب د اه ي ال Glory be to Him, and Exalted be Him. subhanahu wa ta`ala

35 وس ص ب ح لد Glorified (is He), Holy (is He), subbuhun quddusun

36 م ال ا و ر ب ر ب و ال ة و الر و ح ئ ن Our Lord, and the Lord of the angels and the Spirit. rabbuna wa rabbu almala'ikati walrruhi

37 ص ب د ان غ ال غ اف و ر الد ائ م Glory be to the Eternal Who never forgets. subhana aldda'imi ghayri alghafili

38 ص ب د ان ال ػ ال م ب غ ر ث ػ ل م Glory be to the All-knowing Who does not need teaching. subhana al`alimi bighayri ta`limin

39 ص ب د ان خ ال ق م ا ر ى و م ا ال ر ى Glory be to the Creator of all seen and unseen beings. subhana khaliqi ma yura wa ma la yura

40 ذ ص ب د ان االب ص ا ر ك ر د ال ي Glory be to Him Who comprehends all visions, subhana alladhi yudriku al-absara

41 ث د ر ه ي و ال االب ص ا ر but visions cannot comprehend Him, wa la tudrikuhu al-absaru

42 و الل ط ف ال خ ب ر and He is the Knower of subtleties, the Aware. wa huwa allatifu alkhabiru

43 م إ ه اص ب د ت م و م ف الل ه ػ م ة و خ ر O Allah, I begin my day covered with grace and favor from You allahumma inni asbahtu minka fi ni`matin wa khayrin

44 و ب ر ه ة و غ اف ة as well as blessing and good health. wa barakatin wa `afiyatin

45 و ا ل ي د م م د غ ل و ف ص So, (please) bless Muhammad and his Household, fasalli `ala muhammadin wa alihi

46 ر ك ػ م ج م و خ و اث م م غ ل ه make perfect Your grace and favor for me wa atmim `alayya ni`mataka wa khayraka

47 و ب ر ه اث م و غ اف ج م as well as Your blessings and good health, wa barakatika wa `afiyataka

48 ب و ج اة م ن الو ار through redemption from Hellfire, binajatin mina alnnari

49 و ار ز ل و ش ن ر ك و غ اف ج م grant me thanksgiving to You, enjoyment of wellbeing from You, warzuqni shukraka wa `afiyataka

50 م و و ف ر ام ج م ضل ه اب دا م ا اب ك ج و Your grace, and Your honor permanently so long as You decide to keep me alive. wa fadlaka wa karamataka abadan ma abqaytani

51 ب و ر ك م ا ج د ت الل O Allah, only by Your Light have I been guided, allahumma binurika ihtadaytu

52 و ب ف ض ل م ت اص ج غ و only by Your grace have I been opulent, wa bifadlika istaghnaytu

53 و ب و ػ م ج م اص ب د ت و ام ش ت and only by Your grace have I lived in eves and morns. wa bini`matika asbahtu wa amsaytu

54 اش د ك ف ش دا م ب و ه م إ ه الل O Allah, I ask You to witness for me, and You are surely sufficient as a witness, allahumma inni ush-hiduka wa kafa bika shahidan

55 م ال و اش د ج م و ئ ن ب اء ك اه ل م و ر ص and I also choose as witnesses Your angels, Prophets, Messengers, wa ush-hidu mala'ikataka wa anbiya'aka wa rusulaka

56 ان غ ر ش م و ص ن و خ م ل ة م ص م او اث م و ار ض the bearers of Your Throne, the inhabitants of Your heavens and earth, wa hamalata `arshika wa sukkana samawatika wa ardika

57 و ج ك م م ع خ ل and all Your creatures, wa jami`a khalqika

58 ب اه م اه ت ت إ ال اه إ ل ي ال الل ي that You are Allah, there is no god save You, bi'annaka anta allahu la ilaha illa anta

59 و خ د ك ال ش ر م ل م One and Only Lord, having no partner, wahdaka la sharika laka

60 و ان م د م دا ص ل الل ي غ ل غ ب د ك و ر ص ل م و ا ل ي ي and that Muhammad, peace be upon him and his Household, is Your servant and Messenger, wa anna muhammadan salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi `abduka wa rasuluka

61 ه و ش غ ل و اه م ء ل د ر and that You have power over all things; wa annaka `ala kulli shay'in qadirun

62 و ث د م ت و ث و ث م ت ث د You grant life and cause to die and You cause to die and grant life; tuhyi wa tumitu wa tumitu wa tuhyi

63 ج و د ان و اش ال خ ق ة and I witness that Paradise is true, wa ash-hadu anna aljannata haqqun

64 و ان الو ا ر خ ق Hellfire is true, wa anna alnnara haqqun

65 و ان الو ش ر خ ق Resurrection is true, wa anna alnnushura haqqun

66 و الش اغ ة ر ب ا ث ة ال ف ا the Hour is coming, there is no doubt about it, walssa`ata atiyatun la rayba fiha

67 ال ك ب ر ف الل ي و ان ب ػ ح م ن and Allah shall raise up those who are in graves. wa anna allaha yab`athu man fi alquburi

68 ان غ ل ب ن اب ط ال ب و اش د ا ام ر ال م ؤ م و ن خ ك خ ك ا I also witness that `Ali the son of Abu- Talib is truly the commander of the faithful, indeed, wa ash-hadu anna `aliyya bna abi talibin amiru almu'minina haqqan haqqan

69 و ان ال د االئ م ة م ن و ل د ى م اة ال م د ن االئ م ة the Imams from his offspring are the guides, leaders, and well-guided, wa anna al-a'immata min wuldihi hum ala'immatu alhudatu almahdiyyuna

70 غ ر الض ال ن ال م ض ل ن و ال neither straying off nor misleading, ghayru alddallina wa la almudillina

71 و اه م او ال م ص ل اؤ ك ط ف ن and they are Your chosen representatives, wa annahum awliya'uka almustafawna

72 ب م و خ ز ال غ ال ب ن Your triumphant party, wa hizbuka alghalibuna

73 م و و ص ف ث ك م خ ر ث م م ن خل Your choice, the most favorable of all Your creatures, wa sifwatuka wa khiyaratuka min khalqika

74 اؤ ك و ه ج ب ج ج ب ج ن ذ ل د و م ال اه م the superior ones whom You have selected for Your religion, wa nujaba'uka alladhina intajabtahum lidinika

75 و اخ ج ص ص ج م ك م م ن خ ل decided on from among Your beings, wakhtasastahum min khalqika

76 ج م و اص ط ف ك غ ل غ ب اد chosen from among Your servants, wastafaytahum `ala `ibadika

77 و ج ػ ل ج م خ ج غ ل ة ن م ال ػ ال and made Claims against all beings. wa ja`altahum hujjatan `ala al`alamina

78 ص ل م غ ل م و الش ال م اث ي الل ي و ب ر ه اث و ر خ م ة May Your consent, peace, mercy, and blessings be upon them. salawatuka `alayhim wa alssalamu wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu

79 الل م غ و د ك اه ج ب ل ذ ى الش اد ة O Allah, (please do) certify this witness for me with You allahumma iktub li hadhihi alshshahadata `indaka

80 خ ج ك و و ا ام ث ل م ال ك غ و ر اض و اه ت ة so that You shall give it back to me on the Resurrection Day while You are pleased with me. hatta tulaqqinaniha yawma alqiyamati wa anta `anni radin

81 غ ل إ ه م م ا ث ش اء ل د ر Verily, You have power over all that which You will. innaka `ala ma tasha'u qadirun

82 الل م د م د ص ػ ل م ال خ م دا ي و ال و ف د ا خ ر ى او ل د O Allah, to You be praise the first of which ascends while its end is infinite. allahumma laka alhamdu hamdan yas`adu awwaluhu wa la yanfadu akhiruhu

83 ل م الل م ل م د م د ال الش م ا ء ض ع خ م دا ث ا ه و ف O Allah, to You be praise due to which the heavens humbles itself to You allahumma laka alhamdu hamdan tada`u laka alssama'u kanafayha

84 ش ب ح ل م و ث ا و م ن غ ل ض االر and the earth as well as all those on it glorify You. wa tusabbihu laka al-ardu wa man `alayha

85 ل م الل م د م د ال خ م دا ص ر م دا اب دا O Allah, to You be praise eternal, endless, allahumma laka alhamdu hamdan sarmadan abadan

86 ال ف د ل ي و اه ك طا ع ال ه ا having neither cessation nor exhaustion, la inqita`a lahu wa la nafada

87 و ل م و ب م و ج غ و إ ل fitting You, and being dedicated to You, wa laka yanbaghi wa ilayka yantahi

88 د ي ف و غ ل و ل about me, on (Your favors to) me, with me, fiyya wa `alayya wa ladayya

89 و م ػ و ل ب ل و ب ػ د ي along with me, before me, after me, wa ma`i wa qabli wa ba`di

90 و ام ام و ف ل و ث د ج in front of me, over me, beneath me, wa amami wa fawqi wa tahti

91 إ ذ ا م ت و ب ك ت ف ر دا و خ دا خ م و ت ف و when I die, remain totally alone, and will be then terminated. wa idha mittu wa baqitu fardan wahidan thumma fanitu

92 د م و ل م ال د إ ذ ا ه ش ر ت و ب ػ د ت To You be all praise when I shall be resurrected and raised up (from grave). wa laka alhamdu idha nushirtu wa bu`ithtu

93 م و ا م ال ي الل د م ل م ال د O my Lord, O Allah, to You be all praise ya mawlaya allahumma wa laka alhamdu

94 و ل م الش ن ر ب ج م ع م د ام د ه ل ا ك and all thanks in all forms of praising You wa laka alshshukru bijami`i mahamidika kulliha

95 غ ل ػ م ج م ع ه ائ م ه ل ا for all Your favors `ala jami`i na`ma'ika kulliha

96 خ ج د م و ج ال د م ا ث د ب إ ل و ث ر ض ا ر ب و until (this) praise achieves the pleasure and satisfaction of You, O our Lord. hatta yantahiya alhamdu ila ma tuhibbu rabbana wa tarda

97 د م ل م الل م ال ة غ ل د ه و اه ل ب ة و ش ر O Allah, to You be all praise for each and every food, drink, allahumma laka alhamdu `ala kulli aklatin wa sharbatin

98 و ب ط ش ب ض ة ة و ل power, grip, wa batshatin wa qabdatin

99 و ب ش ط ة و ف ه و م ض ع ش ػ ر ة extension, and for each place of a single hair. wa bastatin wa fi kulli mawdi`i sha`ratin

100 الل م د م د ل م ال خ م دا خ ال دا ك م ع خ ل د O Allah, to You be all praise that is as eternal as You are. allahumma laka alhamdu hamdan khalidan ma`a khuludika

101 خ م دا ال غ ل م م د م و ل م ال د م و ج ل ي د ون To You be all praise that never ends save Your knowledge (about it). wa laka alhamdu hamdan la muntaha lahu duna `ilmika

102 ي ل د م و ل م ال د ام د خ م دا ال ش ج م د ون م To You be all praise that has no limit save when You will. wa laka alhamdu hamdan la amada lahu duna mashi'atika

103 د م و ل م ال خ م دا ال د اج ر إ ال ر ض اك ل ك ائ ل ي To You be all praise the one and only reward of its sayer is nothing save Your pleasure. wa laka alhamdu hamdan la ajra liqa'ilihi illa ridaka

104 د م و ل م ال د م م غ ل خ ل م م ب ػ د غ ل To You be all praise for You act forbearingly though You know. wa laka alhamdu `ala hilmika ba`da `ilmika

105 د م و ل م ال د ر ث م غ ل غ ف د ك ب ػ د ل To You be all praise for You pardon though You have power (not to do). wa laka alhamdu `ala `afwika ba`da qudratika

106 د م و ل م ال د د ال د م ب اغ ح To You be all praise and You are the source of praise. wa laka alhamdu ba`itha alhamdi

107 د م و ل م ال د د ال د م و ار ث To You be all praise and You are the inheritor of praise. wa laka alhamdu waritha alhamdi

108 د م و ل م ال د د ال د م ب د ع To You be all praise and You are the fashioner of praise. wa laka alhamdu badi`a alhamdi

109 د م و ل م ال د د ال د م م و ج To You be all praise and You are the utmost of praise. wa laka alhamdu muntaha alhamdi

110 د م و ل م ال د د ال د م ع د م ب ج To You be all praise and You are the author of praise. wa laka alhamdu mubtadi`a alhamdi

111 د م و ل م ال د ي م ش ج د ال د م ر To You be all praise and You are the object of praise. wa laka alhamdu mushtariya alhamdi

112 د م و ل م ال د د ال د م و ل To You be all praise and You are the lord of praise. wa laka alhamdu waliyya alhamdi

113 د م و ل م ال د د ال د م ل د م To You be all praise and You are the ultimate objective of praise. wa laka alhamdu qadima alhamdi

114 د م و ل م ال د ال ػ ص اد د و ف د ال غ ق To You be all praise and You are truthful in promise, fulfiller of pledge, wa laka alhamdu sadiqa alwa`di wafiyya al`ahdi

115 د ال م ج ل ائ م د ال ج و غ ز ز mighty in power, and subsistingly glorious. `aziza aljundi qa'ima almajdi

116 د م و ل م ال الد ر ج ر ف ع د ا ت ا ت الد غ م ج ب To You be all praise and You are the highest in ranks, the responsive to prayers, wa laka alhamdu rafi`a alddarajati mujiba aldda`awati

117 م و ز ل اال ا ت م ن ف ق ص ب ص م او ات ع the descender of sings (or Verses) from above seven skies, munazzila al-ayati min fawqi sab`i samawatin

118 غ ظ م ال ب ر ها ت the grantor of outstanding blessings, `azima albarakati

119 الظ ل م ا ت ن ر م م خ ر ج الو the bringer forth of light from utter darkness, mukhrija alnnuri mina alzzulumati

120 الظ ل م ا ت إ ل خ ر ج م ن ف و م الو ر the bringer forth of those who are in darkness to light, wa mukhrija man fi alzzulumati ila alnnuri

121 م ب دل الش ئ ت خ ش و ا ت the changer of evil deeds into good deeds, mubaddla alssayyi'ati hasanatin

122 و ج اغ و ال د ش و ا ت د ر ج ا ت and the maker of good deeds raise to high ranks. wa ja`ila alhasanati darajatin

123 م ل و ل د م ال اب و غ اف د ر ب الج ب الذه م الل O Allah, to You be all praise and You are the Forgiver of the faults, the Acceptor of repentance, allahumma laka alhamdu ghafira aldhdhanbi wa qabila alttawbi

124 ش د د ل الط ذ ا ال ػ كا ب severe to punish, and Lord of bounty. shadida al`iqabi dhalttawli

125 ال إ ل ي ال م ص ر م إ ال اه ت إ ل There is no god save You; to You shall be the return. la ilaha illa anta ilayka almasiru

126 د م ل م ال م ف إ ذ ا و الل د الل غ ش O Allah, to You be all praise in the night when it draws a veil. allahumma laka alhamdu fi allayli idha yaghsha

127 د م و ل م ف ال د الو ا ر إ ذ ا ث ج ل To You be all praise in the day when it shines in brightness. wa laka alhamdu fi alnnahari idha tajalla

128 اال خ ر ة و االول د م و ل م ف ال د To You be all praise in the Hereafter and the former life. wa laka alhamdu fi al-akhirati wal-ula

129 د م و ل م ال د ج ه م ل و م غ د د ه و ا ء الش م م ف To You be all praise as many as the numbers of all stars and angels in the heavens. wa laka alhamdu `adada kulli najmin wa malakin fi alssama'i

130 د م و ل م ال الد ر غ د د د ى و ال د ص ى و الو To You be all praise as much as dust and as many as pebbles and seeds. wa laka alhamdu `adada alththara walhasa walnnawa

131 د م و ل م غ د د م ال د الش م اء ا ف ج To You be all praise as many as all that which is in the air. wa laka alhamdu `adada ma fi jawwi alssama'i

132 د م و ل م ال غ د د م د ا ف ج ف االر ض To You be all praise as many as all that which is in the interior of the earth. wa laka alhamdu `adada ma fi jawfi al-ardi

133 د م و ل م ال غ د د او د ز ان م ا ى ال ب د ار To You be all praise as much as the weight of sea water. wa laka alhamdu `adada awzani miyahi albihari

134 د م و ل م ال د ا ر االش ج ا ق غ د د او ر To You be all praise as many as leaves of trees. wa laka alhamdu `adada awraqi al-ashjari

135 د م و ل م ال و ج غ ل ا غ د د م د ي االر ض To You be all praise as many as all that which exists on the earth surface. wa laka alhamdu `adada ma `ala wajhi alardi

136 د م و ل م غ د د م ال د ه ج اب م اخ ص ا To You be all praise as much as that which has been counted by Your Book. wa laka alhamdu `adada ma ahsa kitabuka

137 د م و ل م ال غ د د م د غ ل م م ا اخ اط ب ي To You be all praise as much as all that which is comprehended by Your Knowledge. wa laka alhamdu `adada ma ahata bihi `ilmuka

138 د م و ل م ال د س اإل ه غ د د و ال ج ن To You be all praise as many as the numbers of men, jinn, wa laka alhamdu `adada al-insi waljinni

139 ر ام و ال و الط و الش ب اع و ال ب ائ م pests, birds, animals, and beasts walhawammi walttayri walbaha'imi walssiba`i

140 خ م دا ه د را ط با praise that is abundant, pleasant, hamdan kathiran tayyiban

141 م ب ار ها ف ي ه م ا ث د ب ر ب و ا و ث ر ض and as blessed as You, our Lord, please and gratify mubarakan fihi kama tuhibbu rabbana wa tarda

142 ا و ب غ ل ن ر م و ج م و غ ز ج ل ال م و ه م so much so that it befits the majesty of Your Face and the dignity of Your splendor. wa kama yanbaghi likarami wajhika wa `izzi jalalika

143 ي الل ي ال ش ر م ل Then, repeat the following د ى statements و خ ten times each: ال إ ل ي إ ال There is no god save Allah; One and Only and having no partner. la ilaha illa allahu wahdahu la sharika lahu

144 م و ل ي و الل ط ف ال م ل ل ي د م د ال ال خ ب ر To Him is the Kingdom and to Him is (all) praise. He is the Knower of subtleties, the Aware. lahu almulku wa lahu alhamdu wa huwa allatifu alkhabiru

145 إ ل ي ي و خ د ى إ ال الل ل ي ال ش ر م ال There is no god save Allah; One and Only and having no partner. la ilaha illa allahu wahdahu la sharika lahu

146 م د ل ي ال م ل د م و ل ي ال د م ت و و و د م ت To Him is the Kingdom and to Him is (all) praise. He gives life and causes to die and causes to die and gives life, lahu almulku wa lahu alhamdu yuhyi wa yumitu wa yumitu wa yuhyi

147 ال م ت ب د ى ر ال خ و خ ه و غ ل و ش ء ل د ر while He is ever-living and never dies. In His Hand is the entire goodness and He has power over all things. wa huwa hayyun la yamutu biyadihi alkhayru wa huwa `ala kulli shay'in qadirun

148 اص ج ف غ ر ال د ذ ال الل ي ال ي ال إ ل ي إ ال ك م و اث ب إ ل ي I pray the forgiveness of Allah; there is no god save Him, the Ever-living, the Self-subsistent, and I repent to Him. astaghfiru allaha alladhi la ilaha illa huwa alhayyu alqayyumu wa atubu ilayhi

149 الل ي ا الل ي ا O Allah, O Allah! ya allahu ya allahu

150 م ن ر خ ا م ن ر خ ا O All-beneficent, O All-beneficent! ya rahmanu ya rahmanu

151 ا ر خ م ا ر خ م O All-merciful, O All-merciful! yarahimu ya rahimu

152 ا ب د ع ض و االر ات الش م او O Fashioner of the heavens and the earth! ya badi`a alssamawati wal-ardi

153 ا ذ ا ال ج ال ل و اإل ه ر ا م O Lord of Majesty and Dignity! ya dhaljalali wal-ikrami

154 ا ن م و ا خ و ان ا O All-compassionate! O Grantor (of graces)! ya hannanu ya mannanu

155 ا خ ا ل م O Ever-living! O Self-Subsistent! ya hayyu yaqayyumu

156 ت إ ال اه إ ل ي ا خ ال O Ever-living! There is no god save You! ya hayyu la ilaha illa anta

157 ت إ ال اه إ ل ي ا ال ا الل ي O Allah! O He save Whom there is no god! ya allahu ya la ilaha illa anta

158 ي الل ب ش م الر خ م ن الر خ م In the Name of Allah, the Allbeneficent, the All-merciful. bismi allahi alrrahmani alrrahimi

159 الل م ص م د م د و غ ل م د م د و ا ل O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad. allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

160 ي و اف ػ الل م ب م ا اه ت ا ل O Allah, do to me that which You are worthy to do. allahumma if`al bi ma anta ahluhu

161 ا م ن ا م ن (please do) Respond, respond. amina amina

162 لو اخ د الل ي Say: He, Allah, is One. qul huwa allahu ahadun Click here to repeat one more time

163 ي ا ل اه ت You should then م ا say the ع ب following: الل م اص و O Allah, do with me that which You are worthy to do allahumma isna` bi ma anta ahluhu

164 ا ا ل ي ص و ع و ال ب م ا اه ث but do not do to me that which I deserve, wa la tasna` bi ma ana ahluhu

165 و الج ك ى ال م غ ف ر ة م ا ف إ ه و ا و for You are worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive, fa'innaka ahlu alttaqwa wa ahlu almaghfirati

166 الذ ه ب و ال خ طا ا و اه ا ا و while I am the one of sins and faults. wa ana ahlu aldhdhunubi walkhataya

167 ف ار خ م و ا م ال ي So, have mercy upon me, O my Lord, farhamni ya mawlaya

168 و اه ت ار خ م الر اخ م ن and You are the most merciful of all those who show mercy. wa anta arhamu alrrahimina

169 ال خ ل و ال ل ة إ ال Then repeat the following ten times: ي ب الل There is neither power nor might save with Allah. la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahi

170 ث هل ت ل ال د م غ ت ذ ال ال ي I trust in the Ever-living (Lord) Who never dies. tawakkaltu `ala alhayyi alladhi la yamutu

171 ي ل ل د و ال د م ذ دا ل م ج ال ي خ ذ و ل All praise be to Allah, Who begets no son, walhamdu lillahi alladhi lm yattakhidh waladan

172 و ل م ي ش ن ن ل ر م ف م ال م ل and has no partner in His dominion wa lam yakun lahu sharikun fi almulki

173 ي و و ل م الذ ل ل م ن ن ن ل nor needs He any to protect Him from humiliation: wa lam yakun lahu waliyyun mina aldhdhulli

174 و ه ب ر ى ث ن ب را yea, magnify Him for His greatness and glory! wa kabbirhu takbiran Click here to repeat one more time
