Prolonged or repeated skin contact may cause dermatitis and/or defatting of the skin. Eye Contact Eye contact may cause moderate irritation consisting of transient redness, swelling and mucous membrane discharge to the conjunctiva. No corneal involvement or visual impairment is expected. Ingestion..... Highly toxic. May cause severe irritation of the gastrointestinal tract and gastrointestinal discomfort with the following symptoms: nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea. Exposure Limits... If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Seek immediate medical attention. Skin Contact / Absorption... Remove and dispose of contaminated clothing. Wash affected area with soap and water. Seek medical attention if irritation occurs or persists. Eye Contact Flush immediately with water for at least 20 minutes. Forcibly hold eyelids apart to ensure complete irrigation of eye tissue. Seek immediate medical attention. Ingestion..... Do not induce vomiting unless directed by medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get immediate medical attention. Additional Information Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) has been used successfully to treat the neurological symptoms of hydrazine exposure. Section 05 - Fire Fighting Measures Conditions of Flammability... Product is not known to be flammable, combustible, pyrophoric or explosive. Means of Extinction Water is the preferred extinguishing media as it will dilute the material resulting in a non-flammable mixture. Use alcohol resistant foam, carbon dioxide, dry chemical, or vaporizing liquid extinguishing agents. Water spray or fog may also be effective for extinguishing or to absorb heat and keep exposed material from being damaged by fire.

Not available Section 06 - Accidental Release Measures Leak / Spill Utilize recommended protective clothing. Evacuate work area immediately if material is released. Stop source of spill and notify appropriate personnel. This material is miscible in water. Notify all downstream users of possible contamination. Divert water flow around spill if possible and safe to do so. If unable to remove as a liquid, absorb in clay, sand or a commercial absorbent. Do not place spill materials back in their original containers. Dilute to approximately 10% with water and add 5-8% calcium hypochlorite solution until all the diluted material has reacted. Dry calcium hypochlorite should not be added to a spill as resulting reaction may be violent. Use sensible industrial hygiene and housekeeping practices. Wash thoroughly after handling. Avoid all situations that could lead to harmful exposure. This product may become electrostatically charged during filling and transferring. Make sure equipment is properly bonded and grounded. Storage Requirements Store in a dry place away from heat (below 50 o C) and away from ignition sources and oxidants, preferably outdoors. Shelter drums stored outdoors from direct sunlight. For indoor storage areas, continuous ventilation should be provided.

Impervious gloves of chemically resistant material (butyl rubber, neoprene, nitrile) should be worn at all times. Wash and dry thoroughly before reuse. Mechanical ventilation (dilution or local exhaust), process or personnel enclosure and control of process conditions should be provided.
