Symptoms may include burning sensation, sore throat, runny nose, coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath and difficulty breathing. Skin Contact / Absorption.... Moderate irritation may occur as a result of contact with skin. Eye Contact Moderate eye irritation may occur. Symptoms may include stinging, redness, tearing and pain. Ingestion..... May be harmful if ingested. Symptoms may include irritation to mouth, throat and stomach. Other symptoms may include drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, headache and other central nervous system effects. Exposure Limits... ACGIH-TLV/TWA: 0.1mg/m 3 (potassium persulphate) Section 04 - First Aid Measures Inhalation Remove victim to fresh air. Give artificial respiration only if breathing has stopped. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Seek medical attention if difficulties persist. Skin Contact / Absorption... Remove contaminated clothing. Wash affected area with soap and water. Seek medical attention if irritation occurs or persists. Eye Contact Check for and remove any contact lenses. Flush immediately with water for at least 20 minutes. Forcibly hold eyelids apart to ensure complete irrigation of eye tissue. Seek immediate medical attention. Ingestion..... Never give anything by mouth if victim is rapidly losing consciousness, or is unconscious or convulsing. Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Do not induce vomiting. Have victim drink two glasses of water. If vomiting occurs naturally, have victim lean forward to reduce risk of aspiration. Repeat administration of water. Seek immediate medical attention. Additional Information Section 05 - Fire Fighting Measures Conditions of Flammability... Product will not burn under normal conditions. Likely not sensitive to static discharge or mechanical impact. Product may increase buring rate of surrounding combustible materials.

Use sensible industrial hygiene and housekeeping practices. Wash thoroughly after handling. Avoid all situations that could lead to harmful exposure. Storage Requirements Store product in a cool, dry and well ventilated place away from direct sunlight, heat and ignition sources. Store away from incompatible materials such as strong bases, strong acids, oxidizers and some metals.

Contact lenses should not be worn; they may contribute to severe eye injury. Respiratory protection is required if the concentrations are higher than the exposure limits. Use a NIOSH approved respirators if the exposure limits are unknown. Impervious gloves of chemically resistant material should be worn at all times.
