5 Flowmetering Although strictly a form of controls, the range of flowmetering options offered by PROSOL is second to none. Covering all fluid types (liquid, gas or steam), and viscosities, we have a range of options depending on the complexity and features required. From simple visual indication vane or turbine meters, through to more sophisticated clamp on- ultrasonic units, we know flowmeters. PROSOL also has a suite of ultrasonic, non intrusive clamp on flowmeters (for liquids), which we offer to clients on a rental basis. These meters are ideal for confirming existing inline meters, pump flow testing, boiler efficiency (with thermal analysis). The meters are menu driven, and are easy to use. They will operate with practically any fluid, and on any conductive pipe material. 6 Electric Heat Tracing The applications for electrical heat tracing are extensive and varied. A standard usage being to maintain product temperature in static pipelines, however it is also used for; tank tracing, de-icing of gutters and drains, in commercial freezer doors, inlayed in roadways, paths and runways, hot water temperature maintenance in hotels, and prevention of railway points freezing to name a few.
