All sessions are supervised by an instructor who controls the sports surface using the plinth-mounted control panel and hand held remote control. One click on either brings the surface to a fast stop. If there is human error, and someone is transported on the surface to the rear of the slope, there are automatic sensors that stop the revolving surface immediately. It s important to note that when the controls or sensors stop the surface, everything stops very quickly. The skiers or sliders do not have any momentum. The forces on the athletes come via the moving surface, and the forces of gravity on the fall line in a vertical plain, and on sideways balance in tilt. So, although our sports slopes can create a double diamond black difficulty slope sporting experience, it is really difficult to be harmed by collision or by fall. This means that our equipment and experiences are ideal for all levels of skill, fitness, experience and age.
