2 As your new Lifestyle Manager, I am thrilled to bring you another great season here at the beach. I ve been working at Sherkston Shores for the past 5 years, most recently with the Guest Services team & Arcade Management. I am confident my many years experience in Sales & Marketing will bring excitement and new energy to our already amazing owners events and programming. I ve owned & operated a very successful Disc Jockey Service in Oakville, Ontario for over 15 years, providing music for over 600 functions per year is shaping up to be another action packed season at Sherkston. I look forward to exploring & rolling out some new entertainment and activity options. Just to name a few, we ve added 2 additional evening fitness classes taught by Tammy Harrison (Gentle Fit and Fit & Fabulous). As well, we are planning to have a greater variety of Food Trucks this season. When you re out & about, don t hesitate to stop me and say Hello! All information regarding events, entertainment, and updates can be found on your Owners Exclusive webpage. Whether you are an Owner or Seasonal, check out for all the information that you need to know to make your summer great! If you like the more personal approach, feel free to stop by our entertainment desk located within the Welcome Centre (open daily 9 am to 12 pm July & August). The entertainment desk is your information hub for all things fun! Speak to an entertainment team member to find out anything about resort activities, including Owners events, band information, and anything else you can think of! How do I sign up for events? All events that require a sign-up will be available online two weeks prior to the event starting at 9 am. Visit the Owners website at follow the events and activities link and simply click register now! it s that easy! Please Note: Some events require a fee upon sign up. A valid 2018 Sherkston picture pass must be presented at every Owners event in order to gain entrance. No exceptions will be made regarding this rule. No Show Fee In order to ensure our events are being enjoyed by as many people as possible, a $10.00 fee will be charged to the Owners account for every person who has signed up but failed to attend. If you sign up for an event and are unable to attend, you must cancel no later than 24 hours prior to the event. You can cancel your tickets online the same way you signed up, or speak to an entertainment team member directly. Perfect for all ages, Sherkston Fitness is the perfect start to your day at the beach! Whether it s a refreshing start with Aqua Fit, Aqua Zumba or Zumba, or more of a sweaty workout with Charlie s Boot Camp, we ve got something for everyone! New for this season are evening classes every Tuesday during July and August, with Fit & Fabulous and Gentle Fit. Fit & Fabulous is fun class that helps participants burn calories and sculpt muscles through low impact aerobics, muscle toning exercises and stretching. The Gentle Fit class features a small amount of low impact aerobics, light weight training and stretching. A chair will be used for part of the class for both seated and balance exercises. A gentle but effective workout that will help with mobility, improve muscular tone, strength and flexibility.
