DATE AND VENUE The 11 th Prima Pata Badminton Championhip 2018 will be held at Powermah, Makati City on February 16, 17, 18, 23, 24 and 25, ORGANIZATION 2.1 The Technical Committee will be reponible for the technical organization of the tournament. The deciion of the Committee in all matter regarding the tournament hall be final. 2.2 The Tournament Director will chair the Jury of Appeal compriing 3 member of the Leveling Committee, the Technical Delegate and the Referee. 3. RULES 3.1 The competition will be held in accordance with the Rule of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) for the current year and i applicable for Open and Junior Age Group Categorie only. 3.2 Thi competition hall trictly comply with BWF Law and General Competition Regulation pecifically Part III, Section 1A Appendix 4 - Ruling on Player Code of Conduct and Appendix 9 - Code of Conduct for Coache, Team and Technical Official Seeding will be baed on the mot recent Philippine Badminton Aociation (PBA) Philippine National Ranking Sytem (PNRS) The notional ranking will be applied for newly-formed pair. 3.2 The Technical Committee hall deal with unforeeen incident not covered by the Rule. 4. ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRIES 5.1 Participation i open to all player with good tanding with the Organizing Committee. Player mut read the technical guideline. 5.2 All entrie will be ubmitted online. All player mut ubmit along with their entry form any government iued ID or document to prove their true name and their age e.g. birth certificate, paport, Unified ID, driver licene. 5.3 Deadline for the ubmiion of entrie i on February 4, Sunday at 11:59 pm.

3 5.3 Entry fee i P1,000 per peron for non-junior categorie. Junior category i P700 + P300 for an additional entry in ame category. Maximum of 2 entrie per category for Junior and maximum of 2 event per day for Level Diviion will be allowed. Junior can join max 2 Single and max 2 Double however, pleae take note that Single and Double Event MAY BE PLAYED ON THE SAME DAY. Player will be given a maximum of thirty (30) minute ret period. Player will receive an regarding payment intruction. 5.4 The tournament i open to Current and former national player, trainer, coache and varity player and will be leveled according to their kill level. 5.5 The Non-Gender Combined Age 100 category, however, doe not allow current national Player. The younger player in the Non-Gender Combined Age hould have a minimum age of 35. Ex-national player may join thi category a long a he/he i 45 year of age and hould be partnered with a non-ex-national player. To reiterate, no two ex-national player can be partner. 5.5 The Leveling Committee will be in charge of aigning the proper level to the double pair. Pleae note that the level of the higher player will be followed. 5.6 The tournament i open to non-filipino. Non-Filipino mut partner with a Filipino for Open & Level A. For the Age Group Category including the Combined Age, Non-Filipino hould partner with a Filipino. 5.7 Player mut be at leat 14 year of age or born in 2004 or earlier for non-junior categorie and mut be 35 year old for the Combined Age 100 category. 5.8 Acceptance of entrie i on a firt come-firt erved bai. Only paid entrie will be publihed for the participant ready reference. Player will be given enough time to pay the entry fee. Thoe who have not paid within the precribed deadline will be removed from the lit and therefore will not be included in the draw There will be a limited number of entrie available. In the event of a withdrawal, the organizing committee ha the right to replace an entry with an entry from the waiting lit a long a the competition ha not tarted Player mut check to confirm that the information regarding their entry ha been encoded properly on the lit Player may (primapataopen2018@gmail.com) the organizing committee any quetion and contention prior to the final poting of the draw. Quetion regarding eligibility and level will not be entertained during the tournament. 6. COMPETITION RULES 6.1 Competition Format: The competition will be compoed of 2-tage: Qualifying Stage: Single for Open and Junior; Single Round Robin for Level Diviion Main Draw: Single The qualifying tage for the Level Diviion will have pair grouped into 3 or 4 undergoing a ingle round robin. Player are aured of 2 matche Main Draw for the Level Diviion: One (1) Group Round Robin Final. Final tanding will determine the final poition of the Player Two (2) Group Top 2 Croover Semi Final Three (3) Group Only top finiher of each group will proceed to the Semi Final. Player will draw lot to determine their opponent. The Pair who get the bye will automatically be forwarded to the Final Four (4) Group or More Only the top finiher will be forwarded to the next round. The number of bye will be determined by the no. of Group in each category Player mut preent any I.D. to the umpire prior to the tart of their match for confirmation purpoe Ranking under group play

4 Terminology: a MATCH i compoed of a bet of 3 game; a GAME i compoed of 11 or 21 point Ranking will be etablihed by the number of matche won If two pair have won the ame number of matche, the ranking will be decided by the reult of the match between them If three or more pair have won the ame number of matche, ranking will be decided by their game differential (game won minu game lot). Final game will be played 1 traight to 11, rally point, interval at 6 point Main Draw: & SF: 1 traight to 21, rally point. Bet of 3 game. No etting at 21-all. Advantage of 2 at 20-all to a maximum of 30 point. 2 Min-Interval in between game Interval, break and continuity of play will be managed by the umpire. 6.3 Shuttle Cock Babolat huttle cock will be ued during the entire competition. 6.4 Competition Uniform In order to enure attractive preentation of badminton, all clothing worn by player hall be acceptable badminton port clothing and it i recommended that double partner wear the ame color Player competing in the Main Draw (, SF & F) hould wear the ame uniform or at leat wear the ame color If, in the Referee ole judgment, the content of the advertiing would infringe local law or be conidered offenive, then the Referee may ak the player to change clothing. 6.5 Competition Schedule and Walkover Leveling Schedule: Team Prima Friday queueing at Powermah tarting 7 pm Team Manager Meeting and Draw: February 9, 2018, Friday for Age Group and Open Level. Venue i at the Powermah Function Room at 3 pm.

5 6.5.3 Match Schedule: Pleae check at by February 12, Monday, 5 PM The Technical Committee will follow the Center Time or Powermah Time Any entry that concede a walk-over will receive a core a if they did not core any point during the match Player mut be in the venue thirty (30) minute from the cheduled match and hould confirm preence with the Technical Committee upon arrival Player mut proceed immediately to their aigned court with their I.D., equipment and water once their match i called Player who do not report to the court within 5 min upon announcement of their match will be given a FINAL CALL Player will only be given 5 minute from FINAL CALL by the Technical Committee before their match will be conidered a walkover (Total of 10 minute = 5 min to final call + 5 min from final call) Matche may be played 15 minute earlier than cheduled with confirmation from the player. 7. INJURIES & COACHING 7.1 Player will not be given treatment of injurie on court except for open wound. 7.2 Injured player will be aked by the referee ARE YOU RETIRING? If the anwer i NO, the player mut continue play within 2-3 minute. If the anwer i YES, treatment may be given to the player immediately. 7.3 Player who leave the court without the permiion of the referee or umpire may be faulted for miconduct or may be deemed to have retired. 7.4 Coache may hout advice to the player when the huttle i NOT IN PLAY a long a they do not caue delay. 7.5 Coache may enter the court during interval and mut leave when the 20-econd warning i given by the umpire. Pleae take note that we are trictly implementing the Code of Conduct for Coache, Team and Technical Official. 7.6 Marhal may clear the area around the court if the referee feel that the crowd i influencing the conduct of the match. 8. SUBSTITUTION, WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDS 8.1 The Organizer mut be informed of any withdrawal by a player/pair or team from the tournament or any event thereof. 8.2 Deadline for withdrawal i on February 11, 2018 (Sunday). 50% of the entry fee will be refunded. The remaining 50% will be ued to defray the cot incurred in the regitration proce. No refund for withdrawal after February 11, For the purpoe of thee regulation, retiring from a match hall not be conidered to be a withdrawal, however, hould a player be entered in more than one event, by retiring or withdrawing from that one event, the player mut be withdrawn from all other event in which the player i entered. Thi will be trictly implemented for Open and Junior Age Group Categorie. 84 A no-how for a match in the Open and Junior Age Group category hall be treated a walkover to the oppoition. He/She hall, likewie, not be allowed to play in all other Open and Junior event he/he entered. 8.5 The technical committee may ubtitute a player or pair in cae of any withdrawal prior to the tart of the competition upon approval by the leveling committee. 8.6 Should the technical committee find that the player i tronger than the replaced player or the pair hould be in a higher kill level, all matche for the pair will be forfeited with their opponent winning the match a if the forfeited team did not core a ingle point. 8.7 No change in the Open and Junior Age Group categorie will be made after the Team Manager Meeting and Player Draw unle approved by the Referee.

6 For the Level Diviion, the organizing committee ha the right to replace an entry with an entry from the waiting lit of the ame claification a long a the competition ha not tarted. 9. PROTESTS & MISCONDUCT 9.1 All appeal/protet mut be ubmitted in writing by the player(), thirty (30) minute after the incident to the Technical Committee. Such appeal/protet mut be accompanied by a fee of P1,000 which i NON-REFUNDABLE whatever the deciion made by the Jury of Appeal. 9.2 The Jury of Appeal ha the right to diqualify any participant for evere miconduct; ue of foul language (any dialect); and obviou andbagging. 9.3 Previou reult of diqualified player will not be affected except in the cae for andbagging where all matche will be forfeited with their opponent winning the match a if the forfeited team did not core a ingle point. 9.4 Any willful act of dihonety will be charged a penalty of P5, The player/ will be reported to the Philippine Badminton Aociation who will decide the fate of the player/ and may be banned from any future tournament. 10. PRIZES AND GIFT CERTIFICATES The prize hall be provided by the Organizing Committee for ditribution to the Champion and 1t Runner-up and two 2nd Runner-up. 11. INDEMNITY The Organizing Committee and it appointed official hall not be held reponible for any injurie or mihap that may occur during the competition or a a reult of participation in the tournament. 12. OTHER MATTERS In all other matter not covered by the preceding rule, the deciion of the Organizing Committee hall be final.
