1 S P O R T S TABLE TENNIS BASOC has developed an innovative stadium-court concept to enhance the Table Tennis competition for the 0 Olympic Games in the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition to the customary four courts with,000 seats, an 8,000-seat enclosed seating bowl will showcase a single center court. The new Moscone West Convention Center will be the venue for Table Tennis. Under construction today, Moscone West will feature three levels, with the first level of over 90,000 square feet devoted to Table Tennis (and later Taekwondo), the second floor reserved for training and other competition facilities, and the third level hosting the Handball competition. Moscone West is located one block from the proposed IOC Hotel at the San Francisco Marriott, in downtown San Francisco. With this outstanding location in the heart of the Host City and with its new, contemporary and custom-designed venue, Table Tennis will be a featured sport on the 0 Olympic Games program. In strict accordance with the answers given for question 9.., give a detailed list of the total number of proposed competition venues, indicating the disciplines and events to be held at each site. For Table Tennis, BASOC has established the following two training venues: San Francisco City College, San Francisco Kezar Pavilion, San Francisco.3 Indicate on a map (giving the scale used) the location of the competition venues mentioned in question., as well as that of the Olympic Village, the MPC, the IBC, the Judges and Referees Village and the Media Village (if applicable).
