We started off great, but we have a tendency right now with Colorado. some newer players in the back to drop and drop and drop. Hopefully we can look at film on that and correct it tomorrow. GAME 3: DENVER 2-1 SIUE (AUG. 26, 2016) GAME 4: DENVER 0-1 MONTANA (AUG. 28, 2016) DENVER - The University of Denver women s soccer team got first career tallies off the underside of the crossbar from senior defensive midfielder Lilly McSwain (Glenwood Springs, Colo.) and sophomore Leah Swander (Grand Junction, Colo.) to send the Pioneers past SIU-Edwardsville 2-1 on Friday night at CIBER Field at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium. DENVER The University of Denver women s soccer team created six second half chances, but couldn t find the equalizer as the Pioneers fell to Montana 1-0 on Sunday afternoon at CIBER Field at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium. We played okay today, but not as well as we did on Friday and the result showed it, head coach Jeff Hooker said. I thought we had a little more intensity on Friday. On their goal, we let them switch the ball too easily and let them create a 2v1 which just led to mistake after mistake on that play, and they made us pay for it.

GAME 5: ARIZONA 3-0 DENVER (SEPT. 2, 2016) 2016 BOX SCORES GAME 6: ARIZONA STATE 1-3 DENVER (SEPT. 6, 2016) TEMPE, Ariz. The University of Denver women s soccer team dropped a 3-0 neutral site result to [RV] Arizona on Friday night in game two of the Sun Devil Desert Classic. We were outplayed in the first half and put ourselves in a hole that we weren t able to climb out of, head coach Jeff Hooker said. I thought both keepers did a great job tonight of covering some mistakes we made in the back and took control of their box well. We need to move on from this result and focus on Sunday night. GAME 7: DENVER 1-0 NORTHERN COLO. (SEPT. 9, 2016) TEMPE, Ariz. The University of Denver women s soccer team got three goals from three different scorers to defeat a team that appeared in the NSCAA Poll for the first time since 2013 (1-0 at No. 17 BYU 09/26/13), as the Pioneers took down [RV] Arizona State 3-1 in game four of the Sun Devil Desert Classic on Sunday night. GAME 8: DENVER 0-2 HAWAI I (SEPT. 11, 2016) DENVER The University of Denver women s soccer team conceded two second-half goals inside 4:26 of eachother as DU fell to now Hawai I 2-0 on Sunday evening at CIBER Field at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium. Shots were even at 8-8 and Denver held a 4-1 edge in corners and had the better of the possession as the two teams headed into the locker rooms scoreless. DENVER- Junior forward Jessie Dancy (Park City, Utah) netted her first career goal in the 72nd minute to send the University of Denver women s soccer team to its second-straight victory, this one a 1-0 result over Northern Colorado on Thursday night at CIBER Field at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium. In the first half I didn t think we were quite as sharp as we ended up being in the second half, head coach Jeff Hooker said.

GAME 9: COLORADO 1-0 DENVER (A.E.T.) (SEPT. 17, 2016) 2016 BOX SCORES GAME 10: [4] BYU 7-0 DENVER (SEPT. 22, 2016) BOULDER, Colo. The University of Denver women s soccer program held Colorado scoreless for 99 minutes, but CU s Danica Evans got on the end of a scrum in the box in the 100th minute to send the Buffs to a 1-0 win in both teams final match of the Colorado Cup on Saturday afternoon at Prentup Field. We played well and put ourselves in a position to win today, head coach Jeff Hooker said. We had some good looks at goal, but the chances that we had we just didn t take well. We didn t have that one player to step up and finish today. GAME 11: W. ILLINOIS 0-1 DENVER (SEPT. 30, 2016) PROVO, Utah The University of Denver women s soccer program fell 7-0 to [4] BYU on Thursday night at South Field in Denver s second match of a four match road swing. Denver begins Summit League play with games three and four of its current road swing Friday, September 30 at Western Illinois (2 p.m. MT), followed by a trip to IUPUI next Sunday (11 a.m. MT). GAME 12: IUPUI 1-2 DENVER (OCT. 2, 2016) MACOMB, Ill. Junior midfielder Riley Welch (Littleton, Colo.) gave the Pioneers INDIANAPOLIS The University of Denver women s soccer team stayed perfect the lead for good in the 29th minute and senior starter Cassidy Rey (Arcadia, Calif.) in Summit League play with a 2-1 win over IUPUI on Sunday afternoon at Michael and freshman Brittany Wilson (Littleton, Colo.) combined for their second shutout A. Carroll Stadium. Today was a great road victory and a fantastic start to Summit of the season to send the University of Denver women s soccer team past Western League play this weekend, 25th year head coach Jeff Hooker said. This important Illinois in both teams Summit League opener on Friday afternoon at John MacKenzie Alumni Field. sorbed their initial pressure for the first 10 minutes, but once we got the ball on the start to our group is a tribute to how hard we worked over the weekend. We ab- ground and started knocking it around we felt better about our standing.

GAME 13: DENVER 1-0 SOUTH DAKOTA (OCT. 9, 2016) 2016 BOX SCORES GAME 14: NDSU 0-0 DENVER (OCT. 14, 2016) DENVER The University of Denver women s soccer team got a first half goal from freshman Hannah Adler (Oak Park, Calif.), her third of the campaign, and kept its third cleansheet of the season to remain perfect in Summit League play with a 1-0 win over South Dakota on Sunday afternoon at CIBER Field at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium. FARGO, N.D. -- The University of Denver women s soccer team and North Dakota State split the points after a 0-0 draw on Friday night at Dacotah Field, keeping Denver unbeaten in Summit League play. With the results on Friday, Denver took the top spot in the Summit League table on goal difference, and the Pioneers have a game in hand on North Dakota State who is level with Denver on 10 points. GAME 15: DENVER 0-1 ORAL ROBERTS (OCT. 20, 2016) GAME 16: SDSU 2-0 DENVER (OCT. 23, 2016) DENVER The University of Denver women s soccer team suffered its first Summit League loss on Thursday night by a count of 1-0 to visiting Oral Roberts at CIBER Field at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium. Freshman centerback Cheyenne Shorts (Denver, Colo.) was sent off for the denial of an obvious goal scoring opportunity in the 14th minute, connecting hips with Oral Roberts Brittney Lawrence just outside the penalty area after Lawrence had touched it by the defender, forcing referee Chris Greer to give the straight red and send Denver to 10 players. BROOKINGS, S.D. The University of Denver women s soccer team fell 2-0 to league-leaders South Dakota State on Sunday afternoon at Fishback Soccer Park. The difficult part of today was losing a game on a mental error by not paying attention on our corner kick assignments one time during the match, head coach Jeff Hooker said. The second goal with a few seconds left I m not worried about, but to fight that hard on the road and lose in that fashion is not what I would expect from this group.

GAME 17: DENVER 5-0 FORT WAYNE (OCT. 28, 2016) 2016 BOX SCORES GAME 18: DENVER 2-0 OMAHA (OCT. 30, 2016) DENVER The University of Denver women s soccer team got five goals from four different players for its largest margin of victory since Oct. 13, 2013 (vs. IUPUI) as the Pioneers defeated Fort Wayne 5-0 on Friday night at CIBER Field at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium. DENVER The University of Denver women s soccer team got goals from sophomore forward Leah Swander (Grand Junction, Colo.) and freshman Hannah Adler (Oak Park, Calif.) and kept its fifth cleansheet in league play en route to a 2-0 win over Omaha on Sunday afternoon at CIBER Field at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium. With the win on Sunday, Denver took a share of its first Summit League title since 2013.
