1 SCMC Has Its First Event at Ted Russell Ford There were all sorts of cool Fords at the event which sported 50 show participants. The SCMC had its first SVT, Mustang, and Ford show at Ted Russell Ford in Knoxville, Tennessee, on October 4, It was a great day for a show, a little on the cool side in the morning and somewhat overcast but the results were very impressive for our first show in Knoxville, TN. (Our Cobras were lined up for the We had 15 SVT Cobras at the show and a host of Mustangs and Fords. We also had a surprise from the local AC Cobra Club who attended the event with 8 cars. (Stuffing goodie bags is easy when you do it as a group. Everyone made a game out of it) It all started with a club dinner at a local Italian restaurant on Friday evening. Lots of good conversation and teasing at the table was the order for the night. Afterwards we went back to the hotel to stuff goodie bags for Saturday's show. (The local AC Cobra club came to the (This Cobra R was confiscated by the Knox County Sheriff's Department) (There was also a Daytona Coupe showing)
2 (Jimmy Casteel brought his 1938 pick up truck to the show) (Burke Dawson brought his pride and joy) (Jerry Joyce brought his 1987 Ranger) (Cars were lined up facing each other diagonally) (Jeri Galla brought her 2001 Convertible) (The crowds got thicker and thicker)
3 (We had several older Mustangs at the (We had our show tent set up and ready to go) (Lots of great stories are told at car shows) (Amber Rockwell, Binky Dangerfield, and Crystal Lorah did a top- notch job handling registration) (There were several fox bodied Mustangs and Lightnings at the show) (We had lots of spectators at the show; several Cobra owner on-lookers joined the club)
4 We would also like to thank the judges: Rich Riley - Head Judge Bill Dangerfield Rick McNutt Steve Tanner Greg Oswell Amber Rockwell Burke Dawson (Everyone was checking numbers while we gave out the door prizes) A very special thanks to Amber Rockwell for handling event coordination, registration, goodie bags, and sponsors. You did a great job Amber! Check out the winners list on the next page. You can check out Ted Russell Ford's website at: Check out their specials here: (Like most SCMC shows, everyone walks home a winner) It was a great show and you could tell a lot of thought and energy was put in to the event. Ted Russell Ford was great to work with as they had everything running clockwork. The SCMC would like to thank them for their hospitality, support, and generosity. A special thanks to Mr Ted Russell and Stuart Brabston! We would also like to thank the following people who helped out at the show in no particular order: Crystal Lorah - Registration Binky Dangerfield - Registration Steve Lorah - Set up/take down Rick Mc Nutt - Sponsor prizes Steve Tanner - Logistics- trophies Burke Dawson - Logistics Greg Oswell - Logistics nt/flm/notlocalized/viewspecialoffers/defa ult.asp Ted Russell Ford 8551 Kingston Pike Knoxville, TN (865) Our charity that we donated all of our 50/50 raffle money to is the Center of Hope.
