Snow, sleet, and ice have made it a challenge in our industry as well as trying to get around the city. It even impacted our February 1

2 speaker luncheon. But you are in luck! John Stomps, President and CEO of Total Transportation has agreed to come back and speak to us at our April luncheon. You don't want to miss this as John shares his insights on the current and future state of the industry. Also, I am pleased to announce our second annual March Mudbug Madness networking event. This year we will be meeting at Neil's on Quince on Tuesday March 24, Last year we had 80 people join us for an awesome time and this year will be just as good if not better. We will have all the mudbugs you can eat, the fixins and appetizers too. Come join us and bring your friends for a good time. All the proceeds, beyond costs, go to our Educational Foundation which gives scholarships to local upperclassmen entering into the Logistics and Transportation fields. Over the past few years, the foundation has granted over $55,000 in scholarships. Come join us and bring your friends for this fun event supporting a good cause. Ladies and Gentlemen Start your engines! The Transportation Club of Memphis has kicked off the most exciting Membership Challenge we have ever had. "Race for the Cup" Membership Challenge is structured similar to the points race that NASCAR uses with the Grand Prize of a Rusty Wallace Racing Experience at the Memphis Motor Sports Park. The winner will get to test their ability driving an actual stock car 8 laps around the track. Trust me this is a pure adrenaline rush and if that wasn't enough you can celebrate your victory with your friends with an additional $ Each meeting, we will have a leader board so that you can see how you stand up against the competition.
