If you have members of your family that have never ridden before, you might also consider maximizing your experience here by taking a few basic riding lessons during your stay. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all riders, group trail rides are supervised by experienced wranglers. Wranglers have full authority to exclude a participant if a rider s ability is not suited to horse or trail, or if the rider engages in behavior that endangers other riders or horses. Appropriate Apparel Horseback riding on mountain trails requires participants with proper attire and some minimum physical conditioning. Please come dressed in long pants, closed toed shoes or boots. Slip-on shoes and sandals are not allowed. Helmets are available, optional, and recommended for all riders. Hats are allowed but must be securely fitting and not at risk of blowing off.
