1 The Illinois High School Dance Festival Steering Committee and our host, Maine West High School cordially invite you and your dance students to participate in the 39 th Annual Illinois High School Dance Festival. The festival will be held on Saturday, May 13 th with the assistance of the Illinois Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance and the Illinois State Board of Education. The Illinois Alliance for Arts in Education also endorses the festival. Dancers participating in the Festival will have the opportunity to take 4 master dance classes, attend a professional dance company mini concert by a Chicago Dance Crash and attend the Student Choreography Showcase Gala Performance which features the choreography of our state s most talented high school choreographers. Registration for classes will be ONLINE. Paying for the Festival, ordering lunches,t-shirts, and photo releases will be done thru US Mail. It is important that you register your students early to get the classes they want as class registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Students cannot attend the Festival without supervision from their sponsor. When completing the Festival Registration Forms be sure to: 1) Fill out School Registration 2) Make sure all necessary original signatures are obtained 3) Be sure to order your Lunches and Festival T-shirts on the school registration form. 4) Mail the School Registration Form and one school check or money order made payable to the Illinois High School Dance Festival to cover the total amount of registration fees, T-Shirts, and lunches to: Amelia Faulstick N Evergreen Dr Grayslake, Il Please submit your registration form and check by Friday, April 21, Once registration fees are received in full we will then provide the information for online dance class enrollment.
