Association of Future Firefighters - Fundraiser on the 29 th of February and change of Board members. ii. Accounting Club Fundraiser on the 29 th of February and change of Board members. iii. Chatting hands Will be having a raffle on Thursday. iv. Circle K will be having Fundraisers on February 23, March 1, and March 14. v. Economic Student Association New Board Members. vi. MEChA Meeting are on Thursdays in room C2-5A vii. South Gate Leadership Change of meeting location and Secretary Board position available. viii. United Students of Engineering Nationally Recognized Engineering Week. They will have a speaker, mechanical engineering race, tower of competition and Noche de ciencias and many more activities. ix. VELAC Fundraiser will be held on March 1 st. x. Speech Team Will be attending 2 tournaments one in Cerritos this month and the other sometime next month. There has also been a Change in the Board members. xi. Feminist- Will be hosting a bike ride. xii. SASA- Fundraiser on the 25 th and there has been a change in their Board members. They will be working with a program in downtown LA. xiii. Rhythm Club February 24 will having a fundraiser to raise money for Rino, Nevada, Dance near Second and Central. V. PUBLIC FORUM: i. Ashley; The newest member of our team came to our meeting to introduce herself to the students. VI. DISCUSSION ITEMS Motion to move out of order to entertain item B first and return to item A at the end of the discussions. a. 4 VII. i. Joey Luna was suppose to speak on this subject however he was not able to make it. ii. We will once again work on collecting signatures to get the oil petition past. iii. The aim is to alleviate the budget cut issues. b. Rush Week i. Will be held from 9am to 4pm on the 21 st 23 ed ii. Fist come first serve basis. iii. Clubs are required to only occupy one table unless others aren t being used. iv. If clubs are selling food please make sure you have taken the Food safety video c. Posting Limitations i. Tom Furkawa has requested that students do not post on glass windows for security purposes. ii. We have been given new boards and the locations will be given at the next ICC meeting. iii. Flyers must be brought down the next day of the event. iv. Please use Blue tape in designated areas as well as getting the required stamp. v. If you haven t filled out the posting contract please do so. d. Fundraising Limitations i. One a week. ii. Paperwork must be submitted 10 days in advanced. iii. Can only reserve 4 weeks in advance (Huskey Bowl, Sports, and special events not included). e. Grill Fee s i. There are clubs who own fees from the grill rental. A list is provided at the Student Activity office. ACTION ITEMS (5 minutes per speaker) a) Food ICC Meeting VIII. NEW/UNFINISHED BUSINESS (5 MINUTES PER SPEAKER) a. ICC By-laws Committee Skipped b. 5 iii. We got enough yes votes but we needed more votes in general to be able to pass the Student Rep fee. d. Spring Events i. What food choices would clubs like to have come to our campus? ii. Suggestions: Tommys, Tacos, Carls Jr., Inn & Out and Rally s. iii. Lunch Truck Fair e. Husky Bowl i. Keep the tradition, there will be a change of location. ii. Clubs v. Clubs; any games that come to mine. I. f. Laptops i. We are having issues with the lap tops. ii. The final two winners for the lap top will be taking place this Thursday. iii. There will be two winners selected at 12pm Summary- Next Meeting: March 15 th, 2012 (E1 Building).
