Character Counts: Character Development Pillar of Caring: Do you easily forgive when someone has wronged you? Are you willing to help out a stranger? Caring comes in many ways. Helping to carry a package for an elderly person, being grateful to your parents for making sure you have food on the table and a house over your head and showing kindness to someone in need are all characteristics of the pillar caring. Make sure today that you are a person who is caring. Do you want someone to show you kindness when you are down? Do you want someone to be grateful to you for something you have done for them or given them? Then you need to show the Mark Twain One learns through the heart, not the eyes or the intellect.
