September 10, 2014 PALS Bingo night October 4, 2014 Dance into Autumn with Roger Loney Where: First MCC, When: 7:00 pm - 10:00 October 7, 2014 Advanced and Challenge Classes begin Challenge 7:00 8:30pm, Advanced 8:30 10:00pm Support your Hotlanta Squares and a great cause Pets Are Loving Support a.k.a. PALS. Purchase tickets for $20 (good for 5 bingo cards) and half the ticket price will go to the Hotlanta Squares! If you are interested in helping out but can t attend Bingo night we have a deal for you. Let us know you cannot attend when you buy your ticket(s) and the Hotlanta Squares will arrange for someone to play your cards for you. Then if any of your cards win you and the club will split the prize money. You can purchase tickets by mail or you can see Saralyn or Sam on class nights. To purchase tickets by mail go to the events page of the Hotlanta Squares web site, and look under the Fundraisers section for an order form and instructions. P.A.L.S. Bingo is not your grandma s bingo! The games are held at Jungle Atlanta. Jungle has a full kitchen to handle all your hunger needs and a full bar to quench your thirst. Our DJ keeps the evening moving with carefully selected music to compliment the night s theme. The lovely Queens will make you feel welcomed and have fun, sometimes at your expense. You will be entertained by several performances throughout the evening by local and national Drag Queens. Can we reserve seats? 2 Hotlanta Gay Pride We have not finalized many details for Pride yet, but here s what I have right now: Pride is October 11th and 12th. The Parade will be on Sunday October 12th We are planning to have everyone walk in the parade in a formation to form squares quickly. We want to actually square dance (some simple moves) when we are stopped during the parade. We feel this is important so that people actually know what we it is that we do. We would like to have a truck to lead our group in the parade. If anyone has a truck they would be open to drive in the parade, please let me know.
