2 What is Learn to Play? These fun sessions consist of basketball drills and games aimed at improving the many different areas in junior sport. All skill levels and genders are welcome. Ages 6 through to teens. PCYC Learn to Play now offers a junior 3on3 basketball competition and a 5on5 basketball competition for the older kids. Why Learn to Play? Learn to play skill sessions are just $9! They are fun 40 minute sessions which are a cost effective method to better enhance your son/daughter basketball skills, health and social skills. 4 Schedule every Friday (during school term) 4 pm 4:40 pm Learn to Play Skill Sessions ($9 p/session) These fun sessions consist of basketball drills aimed at improving areas of junior s basketball game. All skill levels and genders are welcome. Ages 6 through to teens. 4:40 pm 5:20 pm 3on3 Junior Basketball The next step in getting your children into playing games. We start this session with a quick 10 minute skill sharpening session. Then the fun begins with these innovative 3 on3 games, your child will be placed in a team and given a uniform. But we will not score only encourage and teach. This is where skills get developed and rules are taught. 5:20 pm 6:00 pm 5on5 Junior BASKETBALL When your child is ready he/ she will be offered a spot in this exciting game where we allocate your child a team, based on his/her skills and not age. We create even teams, for your child to learn how to compete in a friendly environment, we teach sportsmanship and encourage their competitive spirit.

5 How do I join? To join the Learn to Play skill sessions, you will have to become a PCYC Member. Membership is free and can be done through the following methods: Complete it online Complete the eform on our free App Take a form from our flyer stand How do I enter the competition? To enter any of the junior competitions, you must attend the $9 skill sessions in order to be trialled and placed into an appropriate team.
