6 SCRIP This is seriously easy! Go to the website - Create an account Purchase "gift cards" for stores that you are already going to spend money at You can purchase the electronic card while you are in the store and have it ready by the time you are ready to check out. Video

7 COMMUNICATION Communication is going to be the most successful route to a productive, fun, and hopefully winning season. Booster Meetings if you want a say in how the year is going, and what fundraisers are coming home, you NEED to attend the meetings. They happen the 2nd Thursday of each - We are going to you every week with what is happening, reminders, and info you need to know as soon as we know it. PLEASE fill in the parent information sheet so we can reach you.

10 POLOS & T-SHIRTS & SHORTS Polo s are mandatory for every student in the program. They will be worn for casual performances, school rallies, community performances, as well as for traveling. The polo s are $25 Parents are welcome and encouraged to purchase the polos and t-shirts as well. Show shirts advertise our show, and advertise our corporate sponsors. The students enjoy wearing them. The show shirts are $10 Students will need to have a pair of Khaki shorts to pair with the Polos.

11 GOTTA HAVE MORE GREEN Green t-shirts / sweatshirts If you see something on there you like but isn't ours, ask and she can probably make it for you. If you are in the hornline or percussion sections, you will need a green shirts (and sweatshirts) for ALL rehearsals. If you are a guard member, you generally need black for rehearsals.

12 EXPECTATIONS Calendar Get it linked on your calendars Schedule appointments around events Understand that you need to keep looking at it. Rehearsals Be at every rehearsal Hornline/Drumline needs to wear green shirts, athletic shoes and pants School Be in good standing with the school 2.5 GPA or Higher Represent the program with PRIDE Be courteous to all staff members To be early is to be on time On time is late Late is unacceptable

13 EXPECTATIONS In Uniform You will NOT: Eat anything Drink anything but water Run (unless it is in the show) Sit down unless it is covered Act like an idiot Use inappropriate language You WILL Wear with PRIDE Perform your best Drink water Represent School/Community to the highest level. This room All food must be taken outside Water only during rehearsals No mixed genders or couples in practice rooms Tell people to stop acting like idiots Treat the room and others with respect. Things to purchase Dinkles No one should have the shiny shoes anymore Polo Shirt Khaki Shorts Tall BLACK socks

14 UNIFORMS Uniforms will be checked out to your student. You and your student will sign a Uniform Loan Agreement that gives you opportunity to note any damage to the uniform when received, because you will be responsible to return the uniform in good condition at the end of the season. You are responsible for cleaning the uniform as needed. Spectrum Cleaners Cal Oaks Rd, Murrieta, CA Color Guard members are asked to purchase their costumes because they are made to each members measurements. If this is a financial concern, please talk to Mr. Greenberg as soon as possible.

17 INSTRUMENTS If you need a school own instrument, I will be loaning them out near the end of the year. We have to wait for them to be cleaned and repaired. I will contact you once they come in.

18 PLACEMENT ASSESSMENTS All current and future members will need to sign up for a placement performance time for either May 8 th or 9 th or 10 th You will be able to schedule a time through our charms account. Materials are already online (except for Percussion) This is not an audition for the marching band, this is to determine which band you will be placed in for the year.

19 COST $563/student The cost of this fall s program is $50,715. We receive minimal dollars from the district to support this activity. We are a school sponsored, not fully funded, activity. We are asking families to make a donation for the cost of their student. Whatever families are not able to donate, we as a booster organization fundraise. Inability to donate does not affect ability to participate in the activity. BUT the lack of donations, will limit what the whole group can do. You can make donations by check, paypal, credit card or cash. All donations are tax deductible because the boosters are a 501(c)(3). We are also very happy to take installments, $500 is a big deal to most families, we understand that.
