The registration form and payment must be received by Oakville Gymnastics Club on Friday, April 28 th, Post-dated cheques will NOT be accepted and will be considered as a late payment. No refunds. Late registrations will be accepted up to Friday, May 12 th but will be subject to the late fees.

General food services: There is an onsite snack bar in the Glen Abbey Community Centre. A 2 minute walk north of the Glen Abbey Community Centre there is a Sobey s Plaza with the following restaurants: McDonald s, PizzaPizza, Mr Sub, Symposium Café Restaurant and Lounge and a Sobey s Grocery Store with pre-made meals. Hospitality Lounge: Coaches and Judges will have access to the hospitality lounge with complimentary beverage and food being offered. Please list any dietary concerns on the registration form. The host may not always be able to accommodate your requests but we will do our best. MUSIC Music should be ed in a digital format (e.g. mp3 or mp4) 1 week prior to the competition. Please bring back up music on either ipod or CD. All music will be compilated in order of the competition schedule in advance of the competition. Please check with the music volunteer prior to the start of the event that all of your music was received and is functioning properly. COACH ELIGIBILITY Acrobatic Gymnastics Coaches: All coaches must be Gymnastics Ontario members with a minimum of NCCP Level 2 (two) Artistic Gymnastics or Trampoline Fully Certified. All coaches must be listed on the attached registration form. If a coach is not registered on the attached form, he / she must be prepared to show proof of GO membership and NCCP certification on-site at the competition to gain access to the competition floor. Any out of province Coaches must provide proof of coaching certification from their province, territory or country.

8 Aerobic Gymnastics Coaches: All coaches must be Gymnastics Ontario members with a minimum of NCCP Level 2 (two) Artistic or RG Gymnastics Fully Certified (or as approved by GO and Aerobics Meet Director/Technical Chair). All coaches must be listed on the attached registration form. If a coach is not registered on the attached form, he/she must be prepared to show proof of GO membership and NCCP certification on-site at the competition to gain access to the competition floor. ACCREDITATION All athletes, coaches, judges and officials will receive accreditation upon arrival. Accreditation must be shown to gain access to the competition gymnasium and hospitality locations for coaches and judges. To gain entrance to the Closing Function you must also have your accreditation. COMPETITION RULES Acrobatic Gymnastics Refer to the Gymnastics Ontario Acrobatic Gymnastics Technical Rules and Regulations. Please know that the following rules will be different for the 2017 National Acro Cup No GO Level 5 Individual Routines will be part of the 2017 National Acro Invitational. GO Youth Level will follow the current GO Acrobatic Gymnastics Technical Rules and Regulations. FIG Age Levels of 11-16, 12-18, and Senior will follow the FIG Code of Points but we will use Gymnastics Ontario age rules for these levels. All ages will compete within the level. Demonstration athletes are permitted. Please contact the Meet Directors for additional information. 9 If you have any questions regarding the Aerobic competition rules please contact: Lynne Smiley GO Aerobics Technical Chair TARIFF SHEETS ACROBATIC GYMNASTICS The Acrobatic Gymnastics Tariff sheets must be submitted 1 weeks prior to the start of the competition via or fax to the Meet Director or to the designated Competition Official in charge of scoring so that Judges may have time to review tariff sheets prior to the competition. The penalty for failing to comply will be a 1.0 deduction from the total mark of the routine (or first routine only if performing more than one during the competition). Tariff sheets for Finals must be submitted at the same time as tariff sheets for preliminary rounds. Difficulty Element List Sheets for National Stream AEROBIC Athletes are required All 2017 Aerobics Invitational/Provincial Stream competitors do not need to submit Difficulty Element List Sheets. All Routines will be judged on execution only for this competition. Only National Stream Aerobic Athletes will be required to submit Difficulty Element Lists. ATHLETE and COACH ATTIRE (ACROBATIC) Refer to the Gymnastics Ontario Acrobatic Gymnastics Technical Rules and Regulations. ATHLETE and COACH ATTIRE (AEROBIC) Refer to the Gymnastics Ontario Aerobic Gymnastics Technical Rules and Regulations. Athletes Attire is according to FIG Code of Points; tights are optional for Women form fitting body shorts are allowed. AWARDS (ACROBATIC) Awards: medals 1 st to 3 rd, ribbons 4 th to 8 th. FIG Levels 11-16, 12-18, and Senior will receive awards for balance routine, dynamic routine and overall (score based on the sum of their balance, dynamic and combined routines). The FIG levels are welcome to compete one, two or three routines for this event. ***If a category has only one pair/group competing they will receive overall awards only. ***The Acro Cup Trophy will go to the highest level, highest scoring pair/group.
