1 U13 & U14 PRE-CHAMPS MATCHES Proudly hosted by Queensland Cricket INFORMATION PACK_no2 (amended) November 2018 A clear, affordable and accessible pathway for Queensland Cricketer s. Queensland Cricket welcomes all zones to the Under 13 s & U14 s Pre-Championship matches. Through the support of Cricket Australia and Queensland Cricket, there is a now a clear and affordable pathway for players aged to work through representative levels to Queensland teams. The attached information sets out the arrangements for the U13 & U14 Pre-Championship matches for 2018 to be held at various venues on Sunday 25 th November Information Pack_no3 will provide specific logistics for pre-champ matches scheduled for December 9, NOVEMBER 25 th DETAILS Logistics Information Dates Sunday 25 November 2018 Teams to arrive at relevant venue: 8:00am/ 8:30am for 9:30am start Game Format / Catering Umpires Accommodation Venue 50 Over Start Time: 9:30am Lunch Break: 12:45pm 1:30pm Note: No Lunch will be provided for this day of matches. Players are to source their own. Finish: 4:45pm QC Umpire Development Manager, Rob Dunbar will liaise with local Coordinators to confirm Umpires for matches at each venue. 3 TRANSPORT The following Budget Hire Vehicles have been arranged for the Mackay/Whitsundays group (both U13 s and U14 s team) only. Team Officials (Coach, Manager, Scorer) are to be the designated Drivers of the Vehicles. This is necessary due to Team Officials being unable to drive allocated Hire Vehicles. The NQ group (U13s & U14s) have arranged Bus Hire for the day. The Bus will depart from: Wanderers CC, Hugh Street in Townsville at 4:00am and return after matches have finished. All other Teams are to arrange their own transport to & from the Venue/s. QC recommends that these participants also carpool, to best minimize fuel consumption. ACCOMMODATION Accommodation has been arranged for the Mackay Whitsunday group (U13s & U14s) only at QUEST Rockhampton. Check in has been arranged for 24 November 2018, with Check Out on 25 November Room Configurations are: Mackay Whitsunday U13s 3x 2 Bedroom Apartments (4 Singles per apartment) for Players Mackay Whitsunday U14s 3 x 2 Bedroom Apartments (4 Singles per apartment) for Players Team Officials Combined 3 x 2 Bedroom Apartments (with 2 Queen Beds per apartment) for Team Officials Team Officials are Coach, Manager & Scorer WATER CONTAINERS / ESKY There will be Water Containers and Ice available at the Venue/s during matches. Teams/ Players must ensure they bring their own Esky and Waterbottle/s.

4 MEDICAL Qualified First Aid personnel will be on site for the duration of the game/s 1300 MEDICS. There will be information available on the day detailing their Site Location at the venue, name/s and contact details. Players are to bring their own strapping tape if they have pre-existing medical conditions. Medics do not provide tape. MYCRICKET INFORMATION Queensland Cricket will provide all resources, equipment and support to allow MyCricket data entry and live scoring for each game in the event. MyCricket is endorsed and supported by Cricket Australia and Queensland Cricket and is used for all National carnivals and all First-Class domestic matches in Australia. As well as widely used throughout Premier and Grade cricket at both junior and senior level across the country. Each zone will be asked to provide at least one person capable of scoring with the MyCricket Scorer App and/or a traditional EASYSCORE Scorebook. Each game will require one scorer using the Scorer App and another scorer using the EASYSCORE Scorebook. After each match, Zones will also be required to check team and players results in MyCricket to match the official Scorecard. Queensland Cricket will provide: One ipad for each match with the MyCricket Scorer App One Wi-Fi device for each match to update Live Scores from the MyCricket Scorer App An optional MyCricket Training Session prior to the event On-site MyCricket Support for each day along with a Phone/ Contact User Guide document to be produced to help Zones prepare Andrew Keyte Queensland Cricket Systems and Data Officer will be available to address all MyCricket issues before and during the event.
