Boots Birds & Birdies 2016 kicks off with a Friday night block party (free to all veterans and active duty military!), including Mat Best, Morgan Luttrell, Marcus Luttrell and many more military heroes and all-round fun people. Military men & women and civilians alike will have a blast listening to live music at this patriotic event. Saturday morning will be a fun-filled clay shoot & golf tournament with the same special guest crew and additional Boot Campaign Ambassador Speakers. Saturday evening will be an awesome and entertaining Hero Dinner with military hero speakers, an auction and live music. Morgan Luttrell will be our featured speaker Saturday evening helping us all find ou more about the new ReBOOT assistance program and its unique ability to help military men and women who deserve it so much.

2 * Proceeds from Boots Birds & Birdies benefit Boot Campaign, a national / a national military nonprofit dedicated to promoting patriotism for America and our military community, raising awareness of the unique challenges that service members face during and post-service and providing assistance for military families of all generations. We are very excited to announce that the proceeds from this year s event will help Boot Campaign assist military men & women with traumatic brain injury (TBI), post-traumatic stress (PTS), depression or other transitional issues through a special new program called ReBOOT initiated by Morgan Luttrell. Morgan recently completed his master s degree in applied cognition and neuroscience and is continuing his studies to get his Ph.D. He is working with the Brain Performance Institute and the Center for BrainHealth at the University of Texas at Dallas to provide one-of-a-kind medical services to military men and women who are in need. The Boots Birds & Birdies schedule of events and details are as follows: Friday, October 21 st 7:30 pm Friday Night Block Party with live entertainment and special guests Mat Best, Morgan Luttrell, Marcus Luttrell, Johnny Joey Jones and many more great veterans. Admission is $10 and FREE to all veterans and active duty service members. No advance purchase needed - just show up ready to have a great time! VIP tickets are available for $150, which gets you a seated view of the entertainment, complimentary food and drinks, and a spot in our VIP section where our special guests will be hanging out! It doesn t get much better than firing off shotguns on a golf course to start off the morning! 10:30 am Presented by Always Atascosa Dodge, the golf tournament follows the clay shoot. Golf foursomes will play a best-ball tournament. Registration for the shoot & golf game overseen by sponsor Atascosa Dodge Chrysler Jeep Yamaha. The cost for the Golf Tournament is $600 per foursome or $150 for individual players (you will be placed on a team). 3 Saturday, October 22 nd 7:15 pm Hero Dinner! Located just 15 minutes from the golf tournament in a beautiful wooded area, this evening is a very special opportunity at Boots Birds & Birdies. Our special guests Mat Best, Morgan Luttrell, Marcus Luttrell, Johnny Joey Jones, and more Boot Campaign Hero Ambassadors will be at this wonderful evening event. Enjoy a steak dinner with your friends as you hear from our Featured Speaker, Morgan Luttrell. We will have a blast with a great crowd as well as learn more about the awesome ReBOOT program and military heroes opportunities to heal well. There will also be a live auction and lots of opportunity to get to know fellow patriots as we enjoy live music later lasting until midnight. Tickets must be purchased ahead of time with special car permits required for entrance. Tables of 10 for $3500 or individual tickets can be purchased for $350. 4 About Boot Campaign: Established in 2009, Boot Campaign is a national 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to promoting patriotism for America and our military community; raising awareness of the unique challenges service members face during and post-service; and providing assistance to military personnel, past and present, and their families. Retail sales of combat boots, apparel and mission-focused merchandise, general public donations and corporate sponsorships fund programs that support military families. These efforts extend to all generations of military personnel who endure significant physical, emotional and circumstantial hardships resulting from their service and sacrifice. Programs: The Boot Campaign s most prolific assistance program is the Military Recovery Fund (MRF), which began in 2011 with an all-hands-ondeck fundraising effort to help a combat-wounded serviceman recover from life-threatening injuries. Today, MRF allows more veterans to benefit without restriction to their generation or their injuries. MRF is a program dedicated to making a significant impact in the lives of eligible service members, past and present, and their families. By offering monetary relief through direct grants and dependable referrals, we pledge to provide a hand-up, not a hand-out, to those committed to their own upward mobility during difficult or unforeseen transitions. MRF grants are focused on providing gap-funding for career/education transition, PTSD/TBI treatment, and housing needs. Our partnerships with other like-minded nonprofits offer expanded, specialized support for things like home renovations and repairs, brain injury treatment and counseling, career/education support, wellness retreats, and so much more! It s about collaborating, sharing resources, and coming together for the greater good of our military community. We strive to bridge the gap between government programs designed to care for military needs and the often challenging reality that is life during and post-service. Successes: Since 2009 Boot Campaign has raised over 12 million dollars, and each year, an average of $0.83 of every $1 funded our mission of raising awareness of veterans' issues and providing assistance to military families.
