1 Presents the 2 nd Annual Stacy Memorial Horse Show At the North Peace Light Horse Arena September 15, 16, & 17, 2017

2 Who is Stacy? On November 4, 2015 Stacy Michalski Ollenberger passed away suddenly & unexpectedly after a brave and lengthy struggle with various health problems. She never complained or asked for anything, yet Stacy was always there to lend a helping hand. In her honour, we bring you the Second Annual Stacy Memorial Horse Show to remind us of the memories and commitment Stacy put into NPLHA and life. This disease is not a fairy-tale so there will not be any happily ever after but with knowledge and determination there will be a getting better everyday! Remember that you may stumble along the way and there will be times you want to give-up, it has happened lots to me... but when that happens take some time for yourself... talk to those who listen without judgement and don't give up, because if you give up then the disease wins... if you fight hard and do research and find something that works for you, you can win the battle... Stacy To see Stacy s personal journey on Living with Cushing s Disease please check out her blog post and her book Stacy s Journey. Please have fun and share any stories or memories you have of Stacy. During the lunch breaks we will honour Stacy with a special tribute. The Stacy Memorial Award Stacy loved to help people, even if she was busy, she would stop and help. She helped out many nights at the NPLHA during the weekly user nights sharing her knowledge of the sport along with good horsemanship! At horse shows Stacy would often be late for her own class because she was helping someone else! This award goes to the person who helps without asking, who goes that extra mile to help someone in need, and takes initiative. This can be a competitor, parent, groom or volunteer. If you find someone at the show who helps without being asked, who shows true horsemanship and sportsmanship, please use the form provided and hand it in to the show office by 1:00 pm Sunday. The award will be given out at the end of show day on Sunday. Recipient will take home a buckle along with having their name placed on the Stacy Memorial Award plaque in the arena. Page 2 of 16
