Present: Jhn Wtherspn (JW), Linda Lawrie (LL), Andrew Wd (AW), Andrew Freeman (AF), Christine Geary (CG), and Bal Dwrich (BD). Kirsty Sweet (KS) als attended and arrived at 7.55pm. 1. Aplgies fr absence were received frm Sabrina Dunn (SD), Marian Wd (MW) and Melissa Chaudhry (MC). 2. Minutes f the Meeting were cnfirmed as fllws: (a) Minutes f the Meeting held n Wednesday, 3 December 2014, were cnfirmed and signed as a true recrd. (b) Minutes f the same meeting fr the Lndn Gymnastics website were cnfirmed and agreed. 3. Matters arising n the Minutes: 3.1 AW has cntacted Gymaid and the necessary wrk rganised. 3.2 AF has cnfirmed he will prvide a reprt cvering all aspects f cmmunicatins fr Lndn Tramplining by the next Cmmittee Meeting. Actin: AF 3.3 It was agreed that the erectin f barriers at the last cmpetitin t keep the cmpetitin area exclusive t fficials and cmpetitrs had been a success. It was agreed that this shuld cntinue, with the barrier extending t the first trampline. 3.4 Cmputers have been purchased. 3.5 Csts f curses charged by ther regins were investigated. 3.6 Tramplines have been serviced. 3.7 DMT is an agenda item fr this meeting. 3.8 Jb descriptins have been circulated. 3.9 Develpment plan is in prgress. 4. Officer Reprts (a) Chair: JW circulated a reprt prir t the meeting: Chairman s reprt: Lndn Tramplining: February 27, 2015 FYI Kylie Walker (DMT and trampline) has been appinted as perfrmance pathway crdinatr fr Lndn. Ntes frm Lndn gymnastics meeting December 5. It has been agreed that TCs wuld pen their bank accunts with HSBC and DB wuld be a signatry n all. All accunts need at least 2/3 signatries with DB being ne f them. Awards: see attached dcument. Administratrs shuldn t be rewarded when they are paid. Venues shuldn t be rewarded fr their service when they are being paid t hst. Lngevity shuld be remved. Caches were the nly exceptin t this rule and nly shuld be rewarded fr lngevity where they have als received awards fr their services and achievement. Rewards (Pins etc) /certificates shuld be presented immediately nce members reach the necessary criteria fr varius awards categries f Brnze, Silver, Gld and Platinum. This therefre encurages a reward n demand initiative, that sees peple awarded when they meet the criteria, remving any degree f subjectivity TC s shuld be lking t award these at subsequent events/cmpetitins TC s shuld use the web frm t recrd all awards that they hand ut, and this wuld ensure that a central Prviding the perfect balance f fun, passin and precisin Funded 1990 Affiliated t British Gymnastics, English Gymnastics and Lndn Federatin f Sprt & Recreatin Spnsred By

2 recrd culd still be maintained by the awards administratr The self-nminate web frm als means the nus f reward recgnitin is shared acrss bth individual member and the TC It was agreed t intrduce a new Reward Card scheme fr unpaid vlunteers wh attend and help at Lndn Gymnastics events. They can cllect stamps t gain prizes (as detailed in the awards criteria attachment). The rewards cards will nw supersede the Merit Awards and Yung Vlunteer award. Reginal Club f the Year and TC Club f the Year awards t be deleted as causes t much animsity. The Special Achievement award has been revised t make up fr this. AGM AND DATES Due t the rescheduling f the annual general meeting etc f Lndn gymnastics the fllwing deadlines are nw pertinent. A number f these impinge upn Lndn tramplining. 3 153 gymnasts entered ur first Grades event f the seasn while 108 cmpeted. We welcmed back Aviatrs Trampline Club and saw Inspire Trampline Club take part in their first cmpetitin. We used LG lg n ur medals, which were purchased frm their named supplier Bullseye t achieve better discunt levels. Maxine prceeded t arrange trphies fr this event withut authrizatin r budget and is expecting us t pay fr the invice. Jhn is currently investigating the matter and explring ur ptins. I will bring the trphies t the meeting, as we need t decide & cnclude this finally. I understand frm Sabrina that we may be facing legal actin??? The cmpetitin was very successful with a 37% prfit and the feedback frm clubs & spectatrs was hugely psitive. Sunday 8 th February gymnasts entered the Grades while 148 cmpeted 77 gymnasts entered the NDP while 76 cmpeted The timetable needed extra wrk t accmmdate bth pathways requiring the 4x4 bed. This shuld n lnger be an issue, because we nw have tw 4x4 beds. We were able t run bth pathways independently t each ther but during the same event. This created a fantastic atmsphere fr the gymnasts t cmpete in; spectatrs cmmented n enjying the day t. Tableclths were arranged fr the Official s Panels, which were ptimistically received, lifting the standard f the event. Officials als seemed t have taken nte f their attire, as the majrity f them were very prfessinally dressed. (LG have paid fr the tableclths at n charge t us) DE Phtgraphy & NG Sprtswear attended the event prviding us with an extra incme f We were cnfrnted with an anmaly where Queensmead (Phil) presented their check in sheet n Wrd frmat after changing their teams. At Check in, unless the alteratins are marked in pen r verbally ntified it is presumed that there are n changes. Maxine made us aware f the change during presentatin infrming us that the U15G Elementary Team results are incrrect because f her Team change. Ging frward, I will have t send everything in PDF r lck frames & cells in Excel s t avid a repeat f this, hwever we will need t discuss if we want t change the Team results. Online Entries The NDP Cmp has been set up n BG/LG website but will hpefully g live befre ur meeting. I have spken with Richard, BG Help desk, tday and he has trialled a dummy entry which lks gd s far. I need t add ur bank details fr us t receive the payments frm clubs, which will be dne tmrrw hpefully. Then I believe we can g live; I will extend the pening date t accmmdate clubs while ensuring we have plenty f time t arrange panels and timetable. Please nte that the prfit percentages are nt bttm line but simply the entries minus expenses and charges. 4.3 The purchase f trphies fr cmpetitins was discussed. 4.4 It was agreed that a plicy cvering the purchase f trphies/medals fr cmpetitins shuld be prvided fr the future. Actin: CG 4.5 At the 8 February 2015 cmpetitin, there was an anmaly whereby the teams f ne club were input incrrectly, due mainly t the check in sheet nt highlighting changes that had been made. It was agreed that in the future, further, defined checks may need t be made, and the suggestin was made t invite Karen Gent t versee such checks. It was als agreed that as a gesture f gdwill, sme further medals wuld be awarded, but again, it was agreed that Karen shuld check the results frmally t ensure the crrect awards are made. Actin: JW:KG (d) Judging: LL submitted a reprt prir t the meeting: Curses arranged: 7 & 14 th March 2015 Club Judge 7 applicants PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS COURSE WILL LOSE MONEY IF IT GOES AHEAD (APPROX 200). HOWEVER, 5 OF THE APPLICANTS ARE FROM NEW CLUBS SO IT WOULD SEEM UNFAIR NOT TO BE ABLE TO OFFER THEM A COURSE. WE NEED TO MAKE A DECISION ON THIS PLEASE. 6 th & 7 th June 2015 Club Judge n applicants Mel Alesi is the tutr fr the abve curses. I ed clubs last year t ask if they require any higher level curses but n ne has respnded. As such I dn t think it is practical t ffer a Cunty r Reginal curse at the mment. REGIONAL AWARDS: We need t reach a decisin n what (if any) reginal awards we will be presenting and when. 4.6 It was agreed that the Club Judge curse in March shuld g ahead, regardless f the lss f revenue. 3

4 (e) Cmmunicatins: AF submitted a reprt prir t the meeting: 1x Lndn Matters news article fr January cmpetitin takes-place I did nt prduce a news article fr the February cmpetitins I was ill that week. I will d a cmbined article fr the March cmpetitins. Trampline & Tumbling reginal letard and tracksuit fr NDP Reginal Finals 2015: Last year we were almst nt allwed t cmpete as we didn t have a reginal kit! Christine Brckbank has been leading a small wrking grup n reginal kit fr Trampline & Tumbling. Tgether the kit fr 2015 will be: Bys: Navy letard with kingfisher trim. Tumble & DMT add navy shrts. Trampline add white trusers Girls: Csmic letard in navy/kingsfisher/silver Gymnast tracksuits fr medal ceremny: The tracksuit will change in January 2016 s we dn t want gymnasts t buy the ld style. Ideally gymnasts can lend the tracksuit. If nt the tp is 25 and the whle tracksuit 35. Need t check if they must wear the tracksuit. Team caches: Lndn Gymnastics pl shirt with navy tracksuit bttms (ideally existing team trusers) It is hped fr 2016 a discipline wide letard may be designed hwever a few disciplines are resisting this s the letards may stay the same r change again. Discussin pints: Cllectin f letard fees. Tumbling are paying by cheque n the day f the last qualifier. It may nt be as bvius fr trampline/duble mini s shuld we wait until the fficial BG list cmes ut? Anyne knws when this may be? Shuld individual families pay the cmmittee r clubs n their behalf? Des anyne knw any gymnasts with the Lndn Gymnastics tracksuit? Adding t this, can we discuss the entering prcess fr the finals this year designated individual and the gymnasts entry fees, judges and team caches. 4.7 The Cmmittee agreed that AF shuld take respnsibility fr the reginal kit, n behalf f Lndn Tramplining. 5 (h) Annual Budgets and Finance: 4.8 The draft annual LG accunts which were circulated t the Cmmittee by SD were accepted. The Cmmittee agreed the accunts fr the year 2014 fr publicatin. 4.9 It was agreed that the rules fr late payment, r nn cleared funds fr cmpetitins wuld be adhered t, and a penalty f 20 fr nn cleared funds wuld be applied t thse wh transgress. 5. Cmmittee Issues (a) Revised Jb Descriptins 5.1 All revised jb descriptins had been received, with the exceptin f thse fr Cmmunicatins and Disability Tramplining. CG t chase. Actin: CG (b) DMT 5.2 JW advised that the March DMT cmpetitin wuld run. 5.3 JW was nw fficially running tw clubs - Tramplining and DMT. Thse wh wished t cncentrate slely n DMT culd nw d s. He felt it was hard t generate interest in DMT with s few clubs ffering it. He was prviding sme taster sessins fr DMT with a view t expanding it as a discipline in Lndn. (c) Reginal League AW circulated a prpsal fr a Reginal League t cmmence in It was agreed that JW wuld respnd shwing an expressin f interest, n behalf f the Cmmittee. Actin: JW 6. Any Other Business (a) Lndn Gymnastics Awards Criteria: It was agreed that LL shuld lk at the Awards Criteria and Prcess issued by Lndn Gymnastics, n behalf f the Cmmittee, and circulate t clubs. 7. Date and venue f next meeting: Actin: LL (a) Technical Assembly: Wednesday, 6 May 2015, at 7.30pm at Harlingtn Sprts Centre. This will be fllwed by a Cmmittee Meeting f the newly frmed Cmmittee. (b) Cmmittee Meeting: Wednesday, 8 July 2015, at 7.30pm at Harlingtn Sprts Centre. 5
