Pre-meet Training: Practice Date Practice Time December December & Sessin Times: Fr additinal training times please cntact: darin@swimntari.cm Cmpetitin: Dec Warm Up Start Preliminary Sessin Finals Sessin Meet Management reserves the right t change warm-up sessin times, and t allcate team warm-up schedules. Cmpetitin Frmat: Preliminaries: All sessins will be run in a single 25m x 8 lane (3m deep) tank. Warm-up/cl dwn facilities will be available. All prelims will run 8 lane heats with the fastest three heats circle seeded except fr 400m events which will be 2 heats circle seeded. The 800 and 1500 Freestyle will be run as Time Final events. The Wmen s 1500 and s 800 Freestyle will be limited t the tp 16 entries and will run fastest t slwest alternating wmen and men in the preliminary sessin fr all heats during the preliminary sessin (Friday). The Wmen s 800 and s 1500 Freestyle will have the fastest 8 entries in each event swimming in that day s finals sessin. The remaining heats will be run fastest t slwest alternating wmen and men in the preliminary sessin. Finals: All A finals will be run tp eight (8) All B finals will run tp eight (8) The finals sessins will run using the fllwing frmat: B Final, A Final, B Final, Medal Ceremny A Final, B Final. 5 Athlete and Team Infrmatin Psych Sheets: Meet Results: Psych Sheets will be psted at 5 days after the entry deadline. Meet results will be prvided in the fllwing manner: Live Results will be available n ur website each day thrugh a link n the frnt page as well as thrugh Meet Mbile. Final Results will be frwarded t within 48hurs f the cmpletin f the cmpetitin. Cmpetitin Eligibility: Swimmers must be registered as cmpetitive swimmers with Swim Ontari, Swimming/Natatin Canada r anther FINA recgnized Natinal Federatin and have met the qualifying requirements. This includes cmpliance with Swim Ontari nn-resident eligibility requirements. Qualificatin Perid: All shrt curse metres and lng curse metres times achieved since September 1, 2017 are eligible fr entry. Prf f Qualificatin: All Canadian entries will be validated via the Swim Canada results database. Meet Management will nt accept Canadian entries directly via . Prf f time must accmpany ALL freign entries. Times are t be submitted in the curse they were achieved. Cnverted times will nt be accepted. Swimmer's Age: Entry Qualificatin: 18 YEARS & under as f first day f cmpetitin. Swim Ontari des nt accept yards r cnverted yards times fr entry. PLEASE SUBMIT ENTRIES IN EITHER LCM OR SCM. Entries Limits: There are n limits n individual entries r the number f teams entered in relay events. All swimmers must qualify in a minimum ne (1) with up t 4 bnus swims, as fllws: Event standards n page QT = 4 bnus swims 2 QT = 3 bnus swims 3 QT = 2 bnus swims 4 QT = 1 bnus swim 5 r mre QT = 0 bnus swims The 800 and 1500m events are nt eligible fr bnus swims. T qualify fr the Wmen s 1500m Freestyle and s 800m Freestyle a swimmer must have achieved the Wmen s 800m and s 1500m Freestyle time standards, respectively. Only the tp 16 entries will be accepted. Meet Limit: The cmpetitin hst reserves the right t limit the meet t 325 swimmers. 6 Freign Team Inf: Entry Prcess: Entry Deadline: Seeding: Freign teams must fill ut and submit the freign team cach and supprt staff registratin infrmatin fund n the Swim Ontari OJI webpage ( Canadian entries: MUST be submitted via Internatinal entries: May be submitted as HY3 file r CL2 File t jientries@swimntari.cm and must be accmpanied by fficial prf f time. TUESDAY DECEMBER 4, 2018 N entry time upgrade, event additins, r, change f events will be accepted after this date unless authrized by Meet Management. After all times have been verified: All LCM entries will be cnverted t shrt curse metres (SCM) using Hy-Tek cnversin factrs and then all entries will be seeded by SCM time regardless f bnus swim designatin. Entry Fees: Individual Event Fee: $20.00 CAD includes HST Relay Event Fee: $25.00 CAD includes HST Splash fee: $ 5.00 CAD + HST per swimmer = $ 5.65 Official Internatinal Federatin Teams are exempt frm entry fees. Team Registratin: Payment: Club reps r caches are required t register at the pl. Registratin, payment and deck accreditatin must be btained befre deck access will be granted. December December and Entry fees must be paid prir t r at meet registratin. Credit card payment (2.5% added) r cheques will be nly accepted frm f payment. NO CASH payment allwed. 7 Cach Accreditatin: Caches must be registered with the CSCTA as an A1 r B member, Swimming Canada, and meet the minimum NCCP requirements as utlined in the Swimming Canada Natinal Registratin Plicy (see page 8) & Membership Prcedures Manual t receive a cach accreditatin card and access t the pl deck. Accreditatin passes must be visible while n deck. Freign caches must be affiliated t their natinal federatin r recgnized caching agency in gd standing. This is a Swim Ontari event. Only Swim Ontari may grant entry r access t any vlunteer, cach, athlete, fficial, spnsr, r spectatr either in the field f play r spectatr stands. Supprt Staff Accreditatin: Clubs/Teams must cmplete the Dmestic r internatinal Supprt Staff Accreditatin Frm available n the Swim Ontari OJI webpage ( Clubs nt submitting the frm in advance may be subject t a $10 fine per supprt staff. If a club is submitting a cach as part f their supprt staff then the individual is nt eligible t fulfill any caching rle. Supprt staff fund t be in breach f this will have their deck accreditatin remved and ntificatin t the CSCTA will be dne fr cmpliance t CSCTA Cde f Prfessinal Cnduct - Cach t Prfessin 11 a and b. Supprt staff may include: physilgist, chirpractr, dctr, massage therapist, bi mechanist, psychlgist, physitherapist r team managers/chapernes. Swimmers Accreditatin: Swimmers will be prvided an accreditatin card fr deck access. This card must be displayed at all times. Access t the pl will be thrugh the lcker rms and past the main security checkpint. Ntes: The Deck Accreditatin Card remains the prperty f Swim Ontari and can be withdrawn, with immediate effect, at Swim Ontari s sle discretin. By using this Card, individuals agree t be filmed, televised, phtgraphed, identified and therwise recrded during the Swim Ontari designated cmpetitin under the cnditins and fr the purpses nw and hereafter authrized by Swim Ontari in relatins t the prmtin f Swimming Canada and Swim Ontari and the develpment f the sprt f swimming. By accepting the Accreditatin card yu agree that all phtgraphs and mving images taken by yurself within any Swimming Canada r Swim Ontari designated event including thse f athletes cmpeting within any champinship venue shall be used slely fr persnal and nncmmercial purpses, unless the prir written cnsent is btained frm Swimming Canada r Swim Ontari. 8 Please be advised that deck accreditatins shuld nt be prvided t children, yuth r adults that are nt participants in the cmpetitin, either as an athlete, cach, supprt staff r vlunteer/fficial. Insurance and risk management d nt extend t nn-supervised minrs r individuals that are age f majrity that are nt part f the cmpetitin either as a participant, cach, supprt staff r event vlunteer/fficial. SNC Cach Registratin Plicy fr Canadian Clubs: The SNC cach registratin plicy states that all caches attending any sanctined cmpetitin must have a minimum NCCP caching status. All teams must submit a list f caches attending the Ontari Junir Internatinal at the time f entry. Meet management will cnfirm that the Canadian caches submitted are cmpliant with the SNC plicy prir t the cmpetitin as well as at Registratin. Caches fund nt t be cmpliant will nt be eligible t participate in the Ontari Junir Internatinal. Technical Meetings: Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, 5:00 pm at Trnt Pan Am Sprts Centre Caches Meetings: Officials Meetings: Cach Plicy: Official Splits: On Deck Plicy: Scratches: If necessary, meetings will take place 30 minutes prir t the start f each sessin Will take place 45 minutes prir t the start f each sessin As per Swimming/Natatin Canada r registered with a recgnized FINA affiliated Natinal Federatin. The prcedure fr btaining an 'Official Split' nw requires that caches make the request t the sessin referee r meet management n the Official Split Request frm prir t the race. The split fr the lead-ff leg in relays will still be regarded as an fficial split and therefre n request by caches is needed fr relays. Hwever, in the new 'mixed gender' relays, lead-ff times/splits are nt cnsidered fficial splits' as per internatinal practice. Meet management requires that any cach wishing t rely n a time achieved by the swimmer fr an interval shrter than the ttal distance f the event shall s advise the Referee prir t the cmmencement f the sessin (r event) in questin. Only persns with valid swim meet accreditatin will be granted access t the deck. Preliminaries Friday Preliminaries and timed final events: 30 minutes fllwing the December 13 Technical Meeting (excludes 800m and 1500m Freestyle n Friday). 9 Check In Psitive Checkin fr the 800m and 1500m Freestyle will be 30 minutes after the start f preliminary warmup (mrning) n the respective day the event will be swum. Any scratches received after the checkin perid has ended will be subject t penalties. Relay Name Submissin: Awards: Penalties N-Shws, step-dwns and unexcused incmplete swims will be penalized $ CAD fr bth Preliminaries and Finals. Fines incurred in preliminaries may be paid immediately, r at the end f the preliminary sessin. The swimmer in questin may swim ther events in that preliminary sessin prir t paying the penalty.
