6 GENERAL INFORMATION REFERENCE DOCUMENTS Pony Club WA Dressage Rules 2018 Pony Club WA Handbook Pony Club WA Gear Checking Manual EA Dressage Rules EVENING MEALS Evening meals on the Friday and Saturday night are available for purchase from Two Queens. FOOD Saturday and Sunday breakfast is available for purchase from Two Queens. Perk Up with Me will also be attending the event, with coffee and snacks for purchase. HELPERS Please remember that if nominated helpers are not available, the nominated club is to find a replacement helper, or their competitors will be scratched from that class. PROTESTS Only the owner or his authorised agent, or the rider of a horse taking part in the competition or in a team event only the team manager is entitled to lodge an objection/protest. Protests must be in writing on the prescribed form, signed by the person making the protest, and presented personally to the Event Secretary/ Technical Delegate/Steward together with any supporting evidence, names of witnesses and the necessary deposit of $50. Any person making a protest should, if possible, secure witnesses to the incident and any other form of evidence, and either bring them to the body before which the protest is lodged, or obtains written statements from them, duly signed, together with their names and addresses. Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, protests against any of the following matters may only be lodged with the Appeal Committee and within the following time limits, and a decision by the Technical Delegate/Steward in these matters is a prerequisite to a right of appeal to the Appeal Committee: Protests concerning the eligibility of an athlete or horse or to the conditions of the arena: not later than 30 minutes before the start of the relevant competition. Protests concerning irregularities or incidents during a competition, or the classification of a competition: not later than 30 minutes after the posting of results on the event notice board. 7 CLASHES With the abundant number of entries and the same riders in several classes, clashes between classes are bound to occur and we ask for your cooperation. CANCELLATIONS & SCRATCHINGS If for any reason you do not wish to ride in a class for which you have entered, you must inform the marshal s office or information desk as soon as possible. Refunds, minus an administration fee, will only be made if a vet or doctor certificate is received by the Pony Club WA Office no later than Friday 24 th August No additional entries or alterations will be accepted on the day. 9 The Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA) Off the Track Program aims to increase the demand for retired Thoroughbred and Standardbred racehorses as pleasure and performance horses through sponsoring events and clinics, sharing success stories, and promoting the attributes of both breeds. Our mission is to support the placement of retired Thoroughbred and Standardbred racehorses in second careers by promoting the many retrainers across Western Australia and educating the community about the various life after racing options, versatility of use, and the appropriate care and retraining of racehorses. Racing and Wagering Western Australia is the peak body for Thoroughbred, Harness and Greyhound racing in Western Australia and is committed to the welfare of our Thoroughbred and Standardbred racehorses, as well as Greyhounds, during and after their racing life REFERENCE DOCUMENTS Tetrathlon Rules 2017 All documents can be found on the PCAWA website.
