3 EVENT RULES & INFORMATION Class Rules: 1. Novice Horse Bridle Horse s lifetime earnings must be less than $7,500 as of November 15 of last year. 2. Classes shown in same box on showbill run concurrently. When cross-entering you will pay the highest cattle & office fee and one video fee. 3. All open or non pro Futurity and Derby classes can be entered in any combination for which rider and horse are eligible. Non Pro Limited Derby exhibitors can t cross enter with another non pro derby class. 4. 1K Limited Non Pro will run separately. Riders lifetime earnings must be less than $1000 as of November 15 of last year. This class follows Non Pro Limited eligibility rules. 5. Novice Horse Bridle will run separately. 6. AQHA classes you can only enter an AQHA class once even though class is offered in conjunction with multiple concurrent groups. 7. NRCHA and AQHA General Rules: 1. Classes close at times posted and the draw will be posted 30 minutes after the classes closes. If you enter after the draw you will go last in the Herd work, and in all other classes you will draw in the office for first or last % of the entry fees paid back in Added Money classes, 100% paid back in jackpot classes event classes pay 30% to high go round scores, 70% to final placements. 4. You must be a member of the NRCHA for all approved classes and a member of AQHA if entering those approved classes. You can join at the show. If you have never been a NRCHA member your first year is FREE! 5. Horses must be shown in order of draw unless there is a conflict with the other arena. All conflicts must let the announcer and back gate person know ahead of time. 6. Protests may be filed in accordance with NRCHA rules. 7. AQHA rules apply for all AQHA classes offered. 8. NRCHA Show Rep Blue Allen General Fair Rules/Information: 1. All Colorado State Fair Competition and Entry Requirements, NRCHA, and AQHA rules apply. 2. Exhibitors are required to read all of the CSF General Terms & Conditions and the Competition & Entry Requirements. These are available for download at 3. At Check-in Exhibitors must provide a copy of horse papers, all membership cards, and a completed W- 9 Form to the office at time of check-in to receive back numbers. 4. Entry Forms - Available online at Entries are fillable online forms that can be submitted directly to CSF Horse Show Department. PDF forms are available if you prefer to print, fill out the forms, and mail them to CSF. No payment necessary till time of check in. Entry deadline is August 11 th. Late entries accepted but a late charge of $50/horse will be applied to your bill. 5. Health Requirements 7 day current health certificate is required for all in-state and out of state horses. Out of state horses must also have a one year current negative coggins. These requirements are set by the Colorado State Veterinarians and are subject to change as we get closer to fair. Please check the Colorado State Fair website prior to coming for any updates on these health requirements. 6. Stall Forms - Are PDF printable forms only and can be downloaded from the same page as the Entry Forms. All exhibitors must fill them out and send payment to CSF by August 11 th either by mail or fax. A late penalty of $50 per owner will be charged if submitted after the deadline. Hi Point overall cow horse will receive a saddle. All three event classes will receive champion and reserve champion awards. Horse Show classes and AQHA classes will receive ribbons only. 8. RV Reservations Call 9719) to reserve a spot. Call early as we fill up fast. Do NOT send your camping reservation and payment to the Horse Show office. 9. Practice Pen Please sign up on your entry form if you plan on being in the Herd practice or Fence practice. Herd practice each exhibitor will be given 3 minutes. Fence practice each exhibitor will be given 4 minutes.
