1 Sparring Poomsae Kick Events Players days to go Update This is our final update. Final Draw has just been posted. The id cards have being printed and the fight numbers allocated. No more changes can be made. People have left for the Gold Coast and have printed the draw. Good luck. Michael Tan The Schedule Parking (Saturday) There is a SUNS AFL game scheduled for the Saturday night 7pm. You may be asked to show id / TKD uniform to prove you are not going to the game. This should only effect those returning after lunch. We should finish by 5 pm on both days. Those scheduled for the afternoon will not be on before lunch. Sparring divisions will be called up together meaning players will not have to fight throughout the day. There will be a small break before the final, but you must stay at the court. The Draw There is a $0 service fee for any withdraws or changes on the day. If you are over the weight limit, there is a $0 service fee to create a special division for your player. Daedo Gen & Gen Where possible Open and 5-7 will be using. Everyone else will be using Gen. Efoot protectors must be worn for all divisions. These efoot protectors will be sold at the Mooto store. Gen or will work fine. No Video Replay All black belt divisions will be allowed coaches protest card. Decision will be determined by the Referee and TA. Coaches id s & attire We are trying to up hold the image of TKD coaches. All coaches must wear suitable attire and have their id card. Coaches who mis-behave will be given a yellow card. A nd yellow card will have their id cards taken and will not be able to coach for the rest of the day.

We will allow non accredited black belts to coach yellow belts to spread the workload on coaches. Weigh in Your weight limit is the division range on the right column of the draw. A signed Printed copy of the entry form must be presented at weigh in. Id cards will be given your team manager (non Qld) or Sat/Sun morning upon entry. If a player is over their weight limit by 0.5kg they are disqualified. If we have to create another division due to a player being over their limit there is a $0 service fee to create the division. Please be on your nominated weight. The first weigh in will take place on Friday 7 th July at the venue. Weigh in will be from 6 pm. Players are Colour 5-7 Female Blue reminded to bring their signed competition form to the weigh in. Weigh in is open to all players Juniors & Seniors. Other Weigh in times Saturday.5am / pm (Afternoon & Sunday Players only) Sunday.5am / pm (Afternoon players only) Medals Engraved Blue Brett who was at the GC Open last year will be there on both Saturday & Sunday from.00pm. A special price of $5 each medal is being charged. All medals will be given out on the court once the division is finished. Medal Policy All divisions will be awarded gold, silver & bronze regardless of wins.

Order of Poomsae (ref to Poomsae draw online). The Poomsae draw is online on Repechage system Once a player loses they are given a nd chance in the repechage pool. Players in the repechage will do their nd pattern and can win a silver or bronze medal. 5 Head instructor Darryl Green (5 th Dan) started a Brisbane branch of his former club in 99 at Carindale and later at Sandgate. In 0 with the retirement of his head instructor, the club was renamed Edge Taekwondo Brisbane. In 06 Darryl joined forces with Neil Cowperthwaite who is the sports coaching director of Edge. Edge also has a club on the Gold Coast operated by Alan Harlick th Dan.

6 TAYA Taekwondo Established 0 Head Instructor Natalia Sangalang Taya Taekwondo is a family-run and family oriented Taekwondo club located at the North West Sydney suburbs of Quakers Hill/Acacia Gardens. Our unique strength lies in the husband-wife-daughter team of Edwin, Natalia and Abby Sangalang who run the classes with their combined knowledge, experience and passion for Taekwondo. Taya Taekwondo has continued to grow with grass roots development program in getting three of our athletes into the Australian National Team namely: - Abby Sangalang who represented Australia at the 0 World Junior Championships - Connor Fleming at the 07 World Cadet Championships Selections representing Australia at the Croatia Open as Australian Taekwondo decided not to send a team to Egypt - Aaditya Kadam who travelled to the Dutch Open as part of the Australian Junior National Team - Sofia Querubin who recently won the 0 Oceania Championships Selections in her cadet division. Team Taya athletes have also competed at prestigious G/G international competitions over the last few years at the US Open (reached quarterfinals), Canada Open, Dutch Open, Belgium Open and New Zealand Open where we had two gold medals, two silver medals and two bronze medals. Our athletes also participated in international training camps held in Korea, Philippines, US and Mexico as part of their training and development program. Our club is headed by our Head Instructor Natalia Sangalang who was a member of the Philippine National Team back in the late 90s-mid 990s. Natalia has had various roles over the last 0 years of her involvement with Taekwondo from a retired elite athlete, coach, trainer, referee, poomsae judge and recently as Director/Board Member and Secretary/Treasurer for NSW Taekwondo (STNSW and ATNSW). Natalia is ably assisted by Edwin Sangalang who is an accredited tournament referee and Abby Sangalang who was an elite athlete/australian National Team Member.
