2 Dear Masters, Instructors and Taekwondo Practitioners, It is with great pleasure and honor that we extend this invitation to you to participate in the 5 th Black Belt World Canadian Taekwondo to be held on June 8 th, 2019 at Toronto Pan-Am Centre: This is a fully sanctioned Taekwondo Ontario (TO) competition event for World Taekwondo (WT) style Taekwondo. All Ontario competitors and coaches must be current members of the TO. $35 TO Color Belt/Black Belt Membership Insurance is mandatory for all non-ontario athletes. High Performance Kyorugi ( sparring ) athletes must submit the TO Medical Declaration Form together with the Competitor Registration Form and payment. All athletes and coaches must register their athletes and coaches online by the Registration Deadline: Saturday, June 1 st, Registration is only complete upon receiving payment. Coaches must be Kukkiwon holders and will receive 1 FREE PASS per school. All submitted coaches will receive one free overnight stay for every 20 registered competitors and will be referred to as VIP Coach. All registered International Referees (IR) will receive one free overnight stay, in addition, will be invited along with the VIP Coaches and VIP Guests to a 19+ Invitation Only VIP After- Tournament Party on Saturday evening. VIP Invitations will be provided leading up to Saturday, June 8 th, This will be an all-day event as it promises to be an exciting and action-packed competition. We will also be inviting a great number of athletes from the neighboring provinces; the USA and several Pan American nations. We will be hosting a Festival in conjunction with the tournament, showcasing a variety of family-oriented activities. Draws will be held and prizes will be awarded to the lucky winners throughout the day. It is our goal to provide you with the best experience as we share our passion for the love of Taekwondo. We will be welcoming guest celebrity stars from film & television, amongst other special guests from the movie industry. We would like to encourage the athletes to challenge their skills through the competitive sport, but also share the spirit of Taekwondo. 8 COACH S REGISTRATION FORM Each Taekwondo school participating at the 5 th Black Belt World Canadian Taekwondo will receive one free coach s pass for every 15 competitors. Additional Coach's Pass will be charged $25. All submitted coaches must be Black Belts registered with Kukkiwon and will receive one free overnight stay on Saturday, June 8 th or Sunday, June 10 th, for every 20 registered competitors, and will be referred to as VIP Coach. VIP Coaches are invited to a 19+ Invitation Only VIP Party on Saturday evening, June 8 th. More information and private invitations will be provided leading up to the pre-tournament party.
