The gold pass is the VIP pass and is permitted to park at the front of the car park Each caterer will be allocated 1 transit car pass for delivery purposes only. 5 4.3 TYRES In addition to Rule D18.1.9, Teams are permitted to scrape the shoulders of tyres to inspect for damage to a maximum of 50mm from the inner edge. CHAPTER 5 - OPERATIONS 5.1 ACCESS TO PADDOCK The set-up of the Supercars paddock will be at the discretion of Supercars Teams must not enter the paddock before 1200 on Wednesday 5 th July With the exception of Supplementary Regulation 2.2.4, no passenger vehicles are to enter the Supercars paddock. 5.2 RACE TRACK WALK Teams are permitted to undertake their Race Track walk on Thursday 6 th July 2017 between 1300 and All Team personnel participating in the Race Track walk must wear a high visibility vest. 5.3 BRIEFINGS A briefing for all Competitor s Team Managers will be held at 1630 on Thursday 6 th July 2017 in the Civic Theatre located on Boundary Road, alongside the infield Support Paddock A briefing for all Competitors and Drivers will be held at 1800 on Friday 7 th July 2017 in the Civic Theatre located on Boundary Road, alongside the infield Support Paddock. 5.4 TYRE FITTINGS Control tyre fitting will commence from 0900 on Thursday 6 th July 2017 in the Dunlop facility located in the Supercars paddock. 5.5 TRANSPORTER DEPARTURE AFTER THE EVENT Unless otherwise advised by Supercars, no Team transporter will be permitted to move from its allocated position or leave the Supercars paddock prior to 2000 hours on Sunday 9 th July CHAPTER 6 - MARKETING 6.1 PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE Teams must adhere to the activities outlined in the promotional schedule and/or any subsequent updates as provided by Supercars. 6.2 GRID WALK Where permitted, movement of non-team personnel on and off the grid must only be via the point/s as described in the Competitor s Team Managers Briefing Promotional staff, Drivers and those listed on the D24 personnel list are the only people permitted on the grid in addition to those that are wearing a grid sticker. 6 6.3 TRANSPORTER PARADE The transporter parade will be held on Wednesday 5 th July The transporter parade schedule will be as follows: hrs: All vehicle and transporter operators to be ready for a driver briefing, to be held on the corner of Webb Drive and Lorna Court, The Bohle hrs: Depart The Bohle. Convoy to be escorted by the police to the Circuit hrs: Arrive at the Circuit Below is the route for the parade: Depart Webb Drive Right Ingham Road Right Woolcock Street/Bruce Highway Left Shaw Road/A1 Left Hervey Range Road/Ross River Road Left Charters Towers Road Right Townsville Street Circuit 6.4 PRE-RACE DRIVER REQUIREMENT On Sunday, prior to race 14, all Drivers will be required at the front of the grid at 1557 for the National Anthem. CHAPTER 7 - SPECIFIC CIRCUIT SAFETY REQUIREMENTS 7.1 EVENT OPERATING HOURS The Event operating hours for the purpose of Rule D28 are as follows: Friday 7 th July Saturday 8 th July 0735 After race Sunday 9 th July 0745 After race MEDICAL SERVICES The Medical Centre is located at pit entry and will be operational during the following times: Thursday 6 th July Friday 7 th July Saturday 8 th July Sunday 9 th July Any medical assistance that is required outside of the operating hours outlined in 7.2.1, please contact 000.
