The Event will be known as the ITM Auckland SuperSprint (hereinafter referred to as the Event ) which will also comprise races 24, 25, 26 & 27 of the 206 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship ( the VCS ), and be held at Pukekohe Park Raceway, Pukekohe, Auckland on 4 th 6 th November ORGANISATION & STATUS.2. The Event will be held under the International Sporting Code of the Federation Internationale de l Automobile (FIA), the Supercars Operations Manual ( the Rules ), and any applicable National Competition Rules of the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Ltd (CAMS) which are not in conflict with the Rules, the Supplementary Regulations, any Further Regulations or instructions and any Bulletins issued..2.2 Event Status: Restricted International.3 ADMINISTRATION & EVENT STAFF.3. ENTRIES 2.. Competitors must have completed the 206 V8 Supercars Entry Registration Form Administration checking will commence at 0800 on Thursday 3 rd November Any Competitors that need to change or add any details contained in their 206 Entry Registration Form must do so at the Supercars office prior to the commencement of the Competitor s Team Managers Briefing on Thursday 3 rd November No change of Drivers will be accepted later than 700 (NZDT) on Thursday 3 rd November 206 unless exceptional circumstances, as determined by the Stewards, warrant a change after that time Each Team is required to complete and sign a MotorSport New Zealand Indemnity Form for this Event, which must be completed and returned to the Sporting Operations Manager prior to the commencement of the Competitor s Team Managers Briefing on Thursday 3 rd November. 2.2 ACCREDITATION CARDS (PASSES) & TEAM PARKING 2.2. The Series Accreditation Cards will be recognised by the Organisers Accreditation will be required from Thursday 3 rd November Each entry will receive 3 passes for the Team s car park (car park A) Each caterer will also receive x transit car pass for delivery purposes only. 3 CHAPTER 3 - TECHNICAL 3. SCRUTINEERING 3.. Scrutineering will commence at 0730 on Friday 4 th November SAFETY HARNESS 3.2. Further to Rule C5.2, it is not permitted to attach any type of elastic or other springing medium/device to the shoulder elements of the approved safety harness. 3.3 BODYWORK 3.3. Delete Rule C6..8 and replace with the following: 6..8 The minimum weight for any front bumper bar with freestanding headlights, excluding its mounting system, is 2.5kg 3.5kg The minimum weight for any front bumper bar and headlights moulded as a unitary item, excluding its mounting system, is 5.5kg 6.5kg Teams are allowed to ballast their front bumper bar to achieve the minimum weight stipulated in C6..8 and C The ballast must be securely attached to the bar at a location suitable to the Teams. 3.4 CONTROL ELECTRICAL PACKAGE 3.4. 5 4.2 SUSPENDING & RESUMING RACES 4.2. Further to Rules D and D0..9, Teams must not move onto the track or enter the fast lane until their Car has stopped. 4.3 TYRE ALLOCATION AND USAGE 4.3. Warm up tyres as detailed in Rule D8.6.2, may not be transported to this Event. 4.4 MARKINGS ON CARS 4.4. Delete Rules D and D Any font used must be legible by both timekeepers and trackside officials. CHAPTER 5 - OPERATIONS 5. ACCESS TO PADDOCK 5.. The set-up of the Supercars paddock will be at the discretion of Supercars No passenger vehicles are to enter the Supercars paddock, commencing Thursday 3 rd November Team containers may be unloaded from 0800 on Thursday 3 rd November RACE TRACK WALK 5.2. Teams are permitted to undertake their Race Track walk on Thursday 3 rd November 206 between 500 and All Team personnel participating in the Race Track walk must wear a high visibility vest. 5.3 BRIEFINGS 5.3. A briefing for all Competitor s Team Managers will be held at 730 on Thursday 3 rd November 206 in the Teams catering marquee located on the platform alongside race control A briefing for all Competitors and Drivers will be held at 745 on Friday 4 th November 206 in the Teams catering marquee located on the platform alongside race control. 5.4 TYRE FITTINGS 5.4. Control tyre fitting will commence from 0900 on Thursday 3 rd November 206 in the Dunlop facility located in the Supercars paddock Tyre tents are not permitted on the concrete patch at the rear of the garages. Tyre tents are only permitted on the grass mound at the rear of the garages Teams will only be permitted tent per transporter that is usually at an Event. 5.5 PROHIBITED ITEMS 5.5. The transportation of any food product to and from Australia by a Team is strictly prohibited Any wood product is not permitted to be transported to New Zealand unless the product has been previously approved for export by the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) and the appropriate certification is supplied Teams are not permitted to transport fuel or empty fuel drums or containers to New Zealand for use at this Event. Teams refuelling equipment is not considered a container for the application of this Supplementary Regulation. Virgin Australia Supercars Championship Supplementary Regulations Page 5

6 5.5.4 No hazardous materials (e.g. brake cleaner, etc.) are permitted to be transported to and from New Zealand in the air freight container by any Team Teams are not permitted to place or affix any signage of any kind, apart from the Supercars logo, on the air freight container Containers must be updated with the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship logo. All old V8 Supercars logos are to be removed. 5.6 INDEMNITY FORM FOR PASSENGERS 5.6. For this Event, delete Rule F..5 and replace with the MotorSport New Zealand form. CHAPTER 6 - MARKETING 6. PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE 6.. Teams must adhere to the activities outlined in the promotional schedule and/or any subsequent updates as provided by Supercars. 6.2 GRID WALK 6.2. Where permitted, movement of non-team personnel on and off the grid must only be via the point/s as described in the Competitor s Team Managers Briefing Promotional staff, Drivers and those listed on the D24 personnel list are the only people permitted on the grid in addition to those that are wearing a grid sticker There will not be a grid walk prior to races 25 and TEAM SIGNAGE 6.3. Teams are responsible for the removal of all Team signage fixed to the Pit Garage marquees. A cleaning charge will apply to any Team who fails to remove their signage after the Event. CHAPTER 7 - SPECIFIC CIRCUIT SAFETY REQUIREMENTS 7. EVENT OPERATING HOURS 7.. The Event operating hours for the purpose of Rule D28 are as follows: 7... At all times during event hours at an Event, unless with the approval of the AOM, Teams must keep one all garage doors per tent fully open to allow a constant, unimpeded line of sight through the Pit Garage. Screens or partitions that impede the line of sight from the rear of the garage through to Pit Lane by more than percent of the available garage width and to a height of greater than.5 metres are strictly prohibited. 7.2 MEDICAL SERVICES 7.2.
