3 BARRAGE OF 3-POINTERS: The Citadel has hit at least 10 3-pointers in its last two games (11-24 vs. Presbyterian; vs. North Greenville). It marks the fi rst time since the season that the Bulldogs have drained at least 10 treys in back-to-back contests. In that season, the Cadets fi nished with 10 3-pointers in a victory over Georgia Southern on Dec. 5. Two days later, when squaring off against 12th ranked Michigan State, The Citadel knocked down 12 3-pointers. MO(O)RE PRODUCTION: After enduring a tough season-opening weekend at the All-Military Classic, junior guard Ashton Moore has responded by leading the team in scoring in each of the last two games. Moore opened the week with an all-around performance that included 19 points, six rebounds and six assists in an victory over Presbyterian. He led four Citadel players in double fi gures by hitting 7-of-11 from the fi eld and 3-of-5 from 3-point range. The Suffolk, Va., product came through with another solid outing in Saturday night s triumph over North Greenville. Against the Crusaders, Moore established career highs in assists (nine) and made 3-pointers (fi ve) along with hitting 7-of-11 from the fl oor. His two-game double-digit scoring stretch (14-of-22, 63.6% FGs) and (8-of-12, 66.7% 3FGs) marks the best of his three-year career. Moore is halfway to the longest double-digit scoring run of his career which was set during his freshman season of He followed that up with a three-game double fi gure span last season.
