OU won the first meeting between the two teams in Norman, 66-61, on Jan. 2. The Sooners have won the last 16 meetings against the Lady Raiders, their longest active winning streak against a Division I opponent. u Sophomore guard Ana Llanusa has led the Sooners in scoring eight times in the last nine games and is averaging 25.1 points per game over the last seven contests. The sophomore became the first Sooner to score 20-plus points in six consecutive games after picking up her first career double-double with 26 points and 14 rebounds against Oklahoma State in OU's win. In Big 12 play, Llanusa is third in the conference in scoring at 18.6 points per game. GAME 28 RECAP: TCU Freshman Taylor Robertson finished with 21 points and sophomore Ana Llanusa provided 19, but the Sooners fell to TCU on Saturday in Oklahoma's home finale. TCU outscored the Sooners, 44-23, in the second half as OU shot just.207 from the field in the final two quarters. Robertson helped the Sooners build a six-point lead at halftime as the McPherson, Kan., native scored 20 points in the first half. The freshman was 6-of-6 from 3-point range in the first two quarters to help OU's quick start. Robertson now ranks third in OU single-season history with 93 3-pointers this year. Her 93 treys are one shy of tying the OU freshman record and she also has seven 20-point scoring performances this season. Llanusa scored 11 of her 19 points in the final quarter as the sophomore finished 4-of-13 from the field with a pair of 3-pointers. The sophomore finished just one point shy of extending her school-record streak of six straight 20-point scoring games. Jessi Murcer recorded 11 points to finish in double figures and led the Sooners with six rebounds and four assists. TCU's Jordan Moore finished with a team-high 23 points and earned a double-double with 12 rebounds. Moore was 9-of-14 from the field and added five assists and two blocks. Amy Okonkwo's trio of 3-pointers midway through the third quarter allowed TCU to grab the lead for good as the Horned Frogs outscored OU, 20-9, in the frame. The senior scored 12 points and added 12 rebounds. OU was outshot, from the field and TCU won the rebounding battle, The Sooners finished with a.450 clip (9-for-20 from 3-point range, while TCU was held to a.250 mark (5-of-20). Llanusa earned her first career doubledouble with 26 points and 14 rebounds against Oklahoma State last Monday and became the first Sooner to ever score 20-plus points in six consecutive games. The sophomore is averaging 18.6 points per game during league play, which ranks third in the Big 12. Llanusa's 18.6 points per contest in Big 12 play ranks as the seventh-best scoring average by a Sooner against conference opponents in a single season. The sophomore has led OU in scoring in eight times in the last nine games. During this stretch, Llanusa's 31 points at Baylor on Feb. 16 were the most scored by an opposing player against the Lady Bears this season. She finished with 21 points on 7-of-15 shooting in OU's win over Kansas. Llanusa recorded 33 points, just two shy of her career high, against Kansas State on Feb. 10. During the month of February, Llanusa averaged 23.8 points per game and shot.429 from the field, while posting a.385 clip from 3-point range and a.864 mark at the free throw line. The Choctaw, Okla., native has three 30-point scoring games this season, becoming the first Sooner to accomplish that feat since Courtney Paris during the season. Robertson's 93-pointers are third all-time on OU's single-season list and she needs just two more treys to move into second place. Murcer has scored in double figures six times in the last eight games. Murcer has started the last 14 games at point guard for the Sooners. Since Feb. 6, the freshman is averaging 11.9 points per contest on.514 field goal shooting. In OU's last two wins, Murcer played 38.5 minutes per contest. She recorded 14 points, a career-high nine rebounds and five assists in OU's win over West Virginia on Feb. 23. In last Monday's Bedlam victory, the Moore, Okla., native provided 12 points, seven rebounds and logged a career-best seven assists. Murcer also ranks ninth on OU's freshman record list with 33 made 3-pointers this year. BOOMER BUNCH Oklahoma entered the season with seven freshmen on its roster, the most for an OU team since the season which featured eight freshmen. The Sooners are one of two Power 5 teams (Boston College) with seven freshmen on their roster. Among all Division I teams, OU (seven), Boston College (seven), FAU (eight) and Wichita State (eight) are the only four teams with more than seven freshmen on their roster to begin the season. OU is the only Power 5 Team to have four freshmen start multiple games so far this season. The Sooners have four freshmen that have started at least 14 games (Jessi Murcer, Madi Williams, Taylor Robertson and Tatum Veitenheimer. There are only four freshmen in Big 12 that have started at least 13 games this season (Ashley Joens, Iowa State; Christianna Carr, K-State; Chrislyn Carr, Texas Tech; West Virginia's Madisen Smith). Among Big 12 freshmen, the Sooners have four of the top 10 players in minutes per game. Robertson ranks second among Big 12 freshmen with 33.3 minutes per contest, followed by Williams (29.3/sixth), Veiteheimer (24.3/eighth) and Murcer (24.1/ninth). QUICK HITS Taylor Robertson is on pace to set the OU freshmen record for minutes played per game. She currently averages 33.3 minutes per contest, which would best the previous mark set by Danielle Robinson (32.6/ ). Robertson's.885 free throw percentage also ranks second all-time among OU freshmen. Oklahoma's point field goal percentage leads the Big 12 during conference play. The.361 clip would be tied the fifth-best mark in school history if the season ended today. Ana Llanusa's finished 12-for-12 performance at the free throw line against Baylor on Feb. 16. Her 12 made free throws set a career high. She is the first Sooner to finish perfect at the free throw line (minimum 12 attempts) since Danielle Robinson was 16-of-16 at the stripe at Oklahoma State in Llanusa's 35 points at Iowa State rank as the seventh-most scored by a Sooner in a Big 12 game in school history. She joins Aaryn Ellenberg, Courtney Paris (twice), Danielle Robinson and Phylesha Whaley (twice) as the only OU players to score 35-plus points against a Big 12 opponent. OU ranks fourth in the Big 12 during league play with a.725 free throw percentage. The Sooners posted a.577 clip from the free throw line in non-conference play and have dramatically improved their percentage in Big 12 play. Tatum Veitenheimer's 75 assists this year are the fifth-most by an OU freshman in a single season in program history.
