Anchoring the offensive line are left tackle Takoby Cofield, left guard Laken Tomlinson, center Brian Moore, right guard Dave Harding and right tackle Perry Simmons. Those fi ve combined to start 47 games in with both Simmons and Tomlinson starting all 12 at their respective positions. NEW FACES AT TIGHT END Following the losses of senior tight ends Cooper Helfet and Danny Parker and a leg injuries to returnees Braxton Deaver and Jack Farrell, Duke entered without a single TE on its roster who had played a snap. Redshirt freshman David Reeves, redshirt sophomore Issac Blakeney and true freshman Erich Schneider have taken over the TE position, and all three registered catches in week two versus Stanford. Reeves has drawn two starts, including the opener versus FIU when he caught an eight-yard touchdown pass that gave Duke the lead for good early in the second quarter.
