Limit should be 10%. ii)limits for set pressure adjustments allowed in the valve spring (+ 10%) iii)set pressure tolerances (1 psig for set pressure 15 psig & below, 2 psig for set pressure 16 to 70 psig: and 3 psig for set pressure above 70 psig). iv)valves must be certified by any agency approved by ASME for flow capacity test. v) Design calculation of fluid handling capacity of the valves to be submitted along with the offer. 2.0 Bidder must send engineering drawing, technical brochures along with their offer, failing which offer will not be considered. 3.0 Materials must have identification mark / stamp /purchase order no. on each piece of the item supplied. Size, capacity, pressure rating & set pressure etc. also be indicated on the plate provided on the body of the valve. 4.0 Fabrications shall only be carried out after getting drawing approval from OIL.

8 All the valves shall be inspected by OIL and any of the OIL approved 3rd party inspection agencies i.e. M/s Lloyds,M/s Bureau Veritas, M/s IRS & M/s Rites only and the charges for inspection by 3 rd party agency must be shown separately in the offer, failing which it shall be construed that quoted rates are inclusive of 3rd party inspection charges. When a bidder mentions Third Party Inspection charges as extra without specifying the amount, the offer will be loaded with maximum value towards Third Party Inspection charges received against the tender for comparison purposes. If the bidder emerges as lowest bidder after such loading, in the event of order on that bidder, Third Party Inspection charges mentioned by OIL on the Purchase Order will be binding on the bidder. The scope for Third Party Inspection are mentioned below:- (a)radiography of body & bonnet, mechanical & chemical properties of the materials used, dimensional checking of the body & flanges as per the specifications of the purchase order. All necessary certificates will be issued by the 3rd party inspector and shall be submitted along with the supply.. (b)each valve shall be subjected to the following tests & test certificate should be furnished along with the supply. i) Set pressure test & popping point consistency test. ii) Shell pneumatic test by air. iii) Inlet hydro test at 1.5 times of the set pressure. iv) Seat tightness test as per API RP OIL may also depute their Engineer for final inspection before despatch of the materials for which 15 days advance intimation will be required. 7.0 All materials must be guaranteed for fabrication, workmanship & performance for a period of 18 months from the date of dispatch or 12 months from the date of commissioning whichever is earlier & certificate to that extent shall be submitted to us along with the supply. 8.0 DELIVERY-Material to be delivered to us within 6 months from the date of issue of Purchase order. 9.0 Bidder to confirm point wise compliance with the enquiry requirements. Deviations from enquiry specifications, if any, must be highlighted in the offer. Standard Notes: A. The original bid security ( Amount is mentioned above and also in Basic Data of the tender in OIL s e-portal) should reach us before bid closing date and time.bid without original Bid Security will be rejected. The bidders who are exempted from submitting the Bid Bond should attach documentary evidence in the Collaboration folder as per General Terms and conditions for e-procurement as per Booklet NO.
